We've used Zebra's services several times over the past few years and always had a great experience. Mike and his staff have been a great resource for practical tech information even when we didn't need service. The most memorable for our business was after the 2007 flood. We had more than 24" of water in the building. Our main PC was powered on and ended up completely submerged. A data recovery service of several thousand simply wasn't feasible while we were assessing and repairing damage to the building and inventory. Mike spent a considerable amount of his own time attempting to clean the hard drive components and recover our data. (Far more effort than we expected him to invest.) In the end, the recovery was unsuccessful. But I knew how much effort he'd invested, because he kept us informed through each step. "How much do we owe you?" Labor is labor, after-all. "Nothing." For most of us a computer crash is an unnerving and mystifying experience. When mine crashed, I first went to Staples who quoted me nearly $400 to fix it. That totally freaked me out . Coming back home in despair, i noticed that little Zebra store and stopped in by chance. For less than $100 Mike and Jeremy, not only fixed it promptly, they made it run a lot better than it had been to start with. I have a HP Pavilion. Right now I also have a laptop with a hard drive problem that's being fixed for a lot less than i was afraid it would end up costing me. I've been so impressed with Zebra over the years as a local company and its owners as community members who truly do care about their customers. This is what the standard of small business should be about and I am happy to support it and delighted that I don't have to worry about being ripped off by big shops that overcharge. PS. They also sell used computers. It's just about the biggest bargain in Lewis County.....and all those cords and stuff that cost a lot less than they do at Walmart. read more

As the owner of Zebra Computers since 2006, I find these few negative reviews alarming, but by the same token, with thousands of satisfied customers, there is bound to be someone that feels slighted. We bend over backwards for our customers, and Mitchel R.Sir, I tried to find you in our accounting system, and did not, therefore I question the validity of a negative review from someone that may or may not have been our customer. Our records go back to about 2003, so not sure what happened here, but if you want to revisit the issue, my door is always open, and my phone is always on. Zebra Computer repair is the best computer repair shop I have ever been too. Been dealing with Mike the owner for over 15 years, knows his business and his pricing is very reasonable. I write books and short stories and need my computer to write. I have a good editor and publish on kindle; still all things considered computers are a very necessary tool for me. Last year my laptop and I were in Ochio Rios, Jamaica and I was having a melt down. My computer and I were having issues; so finally I gave up on the internet and the locals then called Zebra using Whatsapp (free long distance). I have been doing business with Mike and the guys at Zebra for over 15 years, and I have NEVER had an unpleasant, over-priced quote, in fact in nearly every case the cost was a bit lower than the initial quote! I won't take any of my computers to any other shop. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, and with the honesty, caring and professionalism, I see no reason to "take a chance" on those "other guys." I have used this business several times in the past 4 years - yesterday they really rocked it for me - cleaned out my computer of malware, updated and downloaded some software that I didn't know how to do, and spent over a hour just teaching and showing me things about my computer that this 71 year old senior hadn't yet learned - all for $100 - a bargain at any price.
