Never had it but was assured it would limit my anxiety, so, of course I said yes. Have had two of the four procedures and am SO pleased. The whole experience using modern technology (not offered by previous practitioner) which assured real time assessment and modifications as needed. First: I was told by the office manager that my crown could not be fixed in one visit because they would "lose money blocking three time slots other patients would be able have," since the timing was "unknown for my fix." Instead, I was told I would need two visits that could be scheduled weeks apart. That explanation felt inappropriate and not aligned with patient-centered care. On top of that, the email responses I received from the office manager, Beth, were rude, degrading, and unprofessional. This exchange was simply for requesting my dental records for my new dentist. Not the standard of professionalism I would expect in healthcare. Don't go here!!!! There are plenty other options in the area.

I have been to different dentists over the years. Some were recommended and others I picked because…read morethey were either in network or local. This was both. My dental insurance has an app to help with narrowing down things such as customer reviews, in network and pricing. So keeping that in mind, I decided to try this place. The bonus being that it is in my neighborhood, too. I went for my first appointment and evaluation of what needs to be done. When I set my appointment, they suggested I come at least 15 minutes earlier. I usually do that as a rule anyways. My first encounter upon entering was the receptionist. She greeted me and said, "Welcome to our office!" She also greeted me by name. In the past, at other dentists, I have usually encountered the, "What's your name and what time are you here for?" Even if I had been a patient for a while. My first time here, I was treated with such high regard. But seriously, these employees were happy and inviting. I was told that I wouldn't have a long wait and I could relax and read any of the myriad of magazines available in the next room. I didn't wait long and was led to a room at my appointed time. The dental hygienist introduced herself and asked me various things about my dental history and questions I answered on the paperwork they had me fill out. We chatted for a short bit and she said she would be taking some X-rays and that Dr. Palchik would be in soon after that. X-rays didn't take long, then in came Dr. Palchik. Her and the hygienist had gone through them and she explained to me what she saw. We decided on a plan of action and made plans for another appointment. She was positive and energetic and made me feel at ease. She even checked out what my insurance covers on her system and gave me an idea of what one of my procedures would cost before and after insurance. I have been back for an emergency appointment, a cleaning and crowns. I have never felt as comfortable at a dentist as here. They work with you and your insurance and budget and make sure you are happy with their work. I highly recommend this office.

He uses the latest technology and is a master of pain management. Every dentist before Sallee would just inject the Novocaine needle completely into the gums the first time, I always felt the jab and then the shaking of the gum to try to minimize the pain, then as the Novocaine is injected the deep nerves in the teeth would scream in pain. With Sallee, he was the first dentist to gradually inject small amounts of Novocaine over a period time to allow the gums to numb slowly so you really don't feel anything at all with Novocaine injections and especially the final deep injections. No more pain and needle anxiety with Dr. Sallee. He also hides the needle so you don't see what is going into your gums. His manner is very calm and soothing, almost dreamy, you will leave his office relaxed. His staff, especially Meghan is young energetic but competent and uses the latest technologies for cleaning tarter off your gums. All the other Dental Hygienist would use a scraper to remove the tarter, Meghan uses what I think i a high pressure water pick or scaler which cut the cleaning time in half. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr Sallee to anyone, and especially those who don't like needles and the Novocain injections. Also, so far the work he has done my teeth is holding up very well and cured my sensitive tooth problem.
