In 2018, I had a very successful knee replacement at the Gainesville location, receiving both surgery and Physical Therapy for pre-hab and re-hab training there. Now, in 2026, I am returning for a hip replacement, and am very pleased that TOI has remodeled its intake protocols so that, in my experience, there is little to no waiting (!) -- in the front office, for radiology studies, for face-to-face with providers, and for PT/OT visits. There seems to be a fresh sense of well-being and contentment among the staff and providers, a feeling of smoother and more efficient management of people and time. Additionally, TOI has opened a walk-in Ortho Emergency clinic on site.

Dr Rogers was given the best reviews and recommendations. Certainly not an ugly man, Dr Rogers, is personable, organized and thorough. Much more than a "good technician", I have never found him harried, dismissive or in a bad mood. I always choose appointments as early as practicable, to avoid any delays that occur in the regular course of medical management. My knee was replaced without a hitch (no pun intended). I am looking toward having the second knee done in about a year. I continue to recommended him, without hesitation, to anyone seeking an orthopedic surgeon.

I went to the ER and was sent to the Valdosta Orthopedic Associates the next day. I have an auto…read moreimmune nerve disease (CIDP) so do not feel pain or respond to pain in the same way as others. The doctor questioned my disease as well as kept asking me how I got diagnosed and who diagnosed me made me explain the disease. Had he read your chart he would have known I have follow ups and see a neurologist and my gp has it in my charts. He was more worried about my diagnosis for my auto immune disease than my broken hand. The doctor was someone I would never see again and literally have changed and won't be going back.
