Dr. Sami is very knowledgeable and friendly and you can ask him any questions if you need more clarity. However, the office staff performance has been lacking lately. For example, when I had to reschedule my most recent cleaning, I was told that the dental hygenist who does my cleaning would be available and when I showed up, I was told she was not in the office as it was her day off. The person rescheduling my appointment dropped the ball. Finally, my most recent experience with my daughter's visit was definitely an unpleasant experience as it was an "optional" procedure and when I asked if would be "hundreds of dollars" I was told "no" by the billing manager. Unfortunately for me, when it came time to pay the bill, it was nearly $500. When I asked the billing manager why the discrepancy, she said it was because the quoted price was "per tooth". Shame on me for not asking a detailed follow-up question before scheduling the appointment but also shame on the billing manager for not clarifying her answer as she knew from my original question that I was not looking for a bill in the "hundreds of dollars". I've learned my lesson but will be very wary of any price quotes for optional services going forward.

He would not revisit this tooth because "it's dead" and said it was the tooth in front cause the pain, which was not accurate. A second opinion confirmed it was the root canal tooth. There was root still remaining, an ill fitting crown causing poor bite, and too large post caused terrible pain. An endo and new dentist took months to be able to save my tooth from extraction and manage my pain. I normally don't share feedback but felt I needed to be honest here as the work performed was not quality, rushed and often felt my concerns were not taken seriously. On top of that, having to pay again OOP for a $1000+ procedure months later.

He is not pushy on the expensive dental work (eg crowns) and I don't feel like I'm in a sales office ( it was the case for some other dentists I used in the past). The receptionist is always nice and helpful to fit you in if you need an urgent appointment. The hygienist is also very nice and great with cleaning the teeth - not too painful! The office itself is new and freshly decorated as they just recently moved to this location.

The women who answer the phones & make the appointments do not know what they are doing and are very rude. I was given an appointment to see the Endodontist for a root canal that was 2 weeks away. I was told that they only come in 2 days a month. At the last minute, they called me & cancelled my appointment saying "they made a mistake & had booked me for a week the Endodontist wasn't in" Mind you I had spoken to them twice in the previous 5 days about my dental referral & the appointment was confirmed during both conversations. Also know that I was in pain for these 2 weeks waiting for this root canal. After an hour of frantic phone calls to my dental insurance, I was able to get an emergency appointment for the next morning but I had to drive 2 1/2 hours each way to get it.
