Zen leaf is the go to spot for my needs, however lately I've found that the prices are going up and the customer service going down. Had to listen to a budtender complain about how tips are going down. All while they were giving me the most basic customer service experience. I asked for recommendations and they suggested a brand I don't like , they seemed bothered by me not taking their recommendation. I came to try the place out again, the websites changed, so I thought there'd be better service. There was not, waited again 15 minutes in the curbside pickup, before I had to walk in and let them know I was there. Preorder had a line but the other window had 2 guys and no customers. So I asked the guy behind that window what happened to curbside and he just said "yeah idk we're busy" they were not. The only reason I didn't give another one star is because of Dillan at preorder window. I let him know the situation and he did genuinely apologize and acknowledged my concern. Went above and beyond. Their employees are super cool and respectful. But there systems is so bugged and has caused nothing but problems for me every time I go. Last week was the final straw when I had over 700 points in my account and bunch of discounts and specials. And out of nowhere last time I went I had 80 points. Like how? So I showed up 10 minutes before closing on a FRIDAY night. No one in line and got turned away becas the man with redish hair and a round body tells me they weren't going to take me. I was all nice and was talking about the other places take you till the time on the door. He wasn't listing and he interrupted me and clapped his hands at me again and started walking away while his hands were still clapping and I said well you don't have to be a d**k about it. He said okay shrugged his shoulders and walked away and I said no really you don't have to be rude. And he went in the back. I used to go to this dispensary when it was Sierra Wellness and loved it. Once they got bought out by Zenleaf it has really gone downhill. My last 4 purchases have had some kind of issue. Disposable vapes with barely any charge. Batteries that dont work, vape carts that dont hit at all, or have leaked inside the package, etc. They are pretty good about exchanging these faulty products, but its becoming an inconvenience to have to turn around and go back for a replacement of something with literally every purchase. The staff is pretty friendly for the most part though. Wish their products would go back to the quality they were before the buyout, as i never had any of these issues when they were Sierra Well. read more

The first time we ordered from the Reno location there was an issue that we didn't discover until we got home. Thankfully the staff at the Carson location contacted the Reno location and took care of everything to make sure we got the products we intended to buy the first time. Friendly staff and convenient but not great quality product. I have been buying mostly pre-rolls from them, and every single one runs bad. And their thc percentages are higher than they actually are, sometimes by almost 10%. The test/harvest dates are different on the labels as well, but I didn't snap a pic of that. The online ordering doesn't go through most of the time so you're sitting there, likely stoned, having to remember and repeat orders to them. Also make sure you remind them the recycled bags give you a discount, as they won't give you the discount if you don't specifically say so. Would rather go back to private dealers than pay extra money for bad quality and customer service. read more

Super convenient location for going to Tahoe, right on 50 near 580. Great deals every time I go in, clean beautiful store, everyone's always so nice. I love both Sierra Wells, really great service at both this store and the Reno store. The flower they grow is really high quality and affordable, and with the preroll deal you can get almost an eighth for less than 30 bucks. Can't beat that. A couple times I spent like a hundred bucks and they gave me a while edible or a couple disposable vapes for a dollar, seriously impressive. read more

I scheduled for a 1-2pm deliver. Got a text at a 11:04am that the delivery driver was 11 minutes from arriving to my house. Since I was expecting my delivery at the schedule time, and had heard from no one about a change, I was forced to drive like a bat out of hell to the bank, where I could only get $20 bills. This would mean the driver, who was supposed to call before delivery and didn't, would receive a very large tip of nearly $15. The problem was not my fault, and I didn't feel it fair to have to tip the driver. Driver said he could not make change. I get Sierra Well's rules about change, but really....you inconvenience me and refuse to make change, and will take a tip for inconveniencing me? When I asked the driver why no one called, he blamed Sierra Well saying they were supposed to call. I called Sierra Well and spoke to Kyle who said the driver is supposed to call. So, which is it? Finger pointing is always good for business. I showed the driver my call log, no calls from Sierra Well, no calls from the driver. If there is a change, I think a call is warranted. If there is a problem with my order, I think a call is warranted. Based on my past experience, there is a note in my account to call with any issues. Early delivery is an issue. Not being able to fulfill the exact order is an issue. I will say Monda who helped me to dealt with such issue on my account in the past is awesome, as is delivery driver Dylan. I feel like both of these individuals value my business. The rest of Sierra Well could care less. I called and asked to speak to Monda. She is out until later in the afternoon. I was put in touch with Kyle who I made my complaint with. Kyle told me the driver was supposed to call me due to the change in time of delivery. The driver is supposed to return at the scheduled time this afternoon. I have exact change now. I hope they send a different driver. I will update this review based on the outcome of my delivery. At this point a 1-star review is a bit much. UPDATE: Same delivery driver called before my scheduled delivery time to assure I would be home. He arrived shortly after. I have tried Sierra well three times now and each time the experience has been worse than the last. The first time I received the completely wrong product (which btw they won't take back once it's handed over to you). The second time I waited thirty minutes outside for my order and finally had to leave as I was going to be late for an appointment and the third time they refused to give any change so I had to leave, go get change and come back and wait in line once again. I understand the website says bring exact change but Rise also says that and ALWAYS gives me change as the total usually changes from either tax or discounted products. Spent days trying to get an order in. Finally did, the driver (who was super sweet gotta say) let us know when he'd be here in about an hour/hour & a half. Dropped it off, my Husband opened it up & one of our items was wrong. That's a big *sorry bout ya!* situation, you're not getting a hold of anyone. So placed another order (has to be $75 or more worth to get delivery) the next day, we figured we'd shell out more cash as we needed what we had actually ordered. When we got a call, turned out, they were about to deliver the exact same mistake that had been done the day before. My Husband was told to just cancel the whole order & start over. So he did. That was yesterday, they never showed, never contacted us, nothing. So it's now almost 2:00 the next day & we've heard nothing. We dont know what to do at this point. Make another order if we even can? Wait longer? A simple text to give us a heads up would be cool. I get that everything's crazy, but this place is failing harder than any other place we've dealt with. Chili's has their poop in a group better than this place. We dont have much choice with all this virus stuff going on, but after its over, we'll be taking the drive elsewhere. This was my first time in and wow the manager Ryan went above and beyond for me! My dad is sick in the hospital and needed some edibles, Ryan knew exactly what to pick out for him and within hours my dad was feeling so much better. Super yummy elderberry gummies and an RSO for my dad plus I got myself a nice little pre roll I'm about to spark up. Thank you again Ryan I so appreciate the hospitality! Big fan, regular shopper. I've had the occasional mixup or delay with a preorder, but staff has always been more than accommodating and willing to make the situation right. Love the product, love the price point (flower smoker). I greatly prefer the selection, price, and efficiency to our other local choice. Doesn't feel like a candy store... which I prefer. My only complaint (and not worthy of removing a star) is that the store has been out of product shown as available online several times. I stopped by for the first time and was met by the friendly receptionist who took my name and allegedly added my name to the waiting list to enter the store, view the offerings and consult with an expert about the various products. I waited for approximately 30 minutes and watched several other customers arrive and be taken back to shop as I was ignored. I asked the receptionist about the order of customers served he replied that medical prescription customers took precedence over recreational ones. Then a recreational customer who had just arrived was called to the front for service and just smiled and shrugged at me as he walked to meet the consultation employee.
