The store is furnished nicely and the staff were friendly and helpful. When I looked at harvest date I, mistakenly, didn't pay attention to the test and harvest dates. They sold me OLD flower. 1/8 was harvested 5/17/24 and tested 3/24/25. most of the prerolls I bought were harvested 5/8/24 tested 11/8/24. I'd say that is old flower. $80 later not a happy customer and I won't be going back. read more

I went to Sol Cannabis as a senior field trip with OLLI. Great presentation, lovely environment. Wonderful informative talk by the owner. Very knowledgeable, great speaker, enthusiastic. I bought some gummies while there. So wonderful! Organic, from seed to product. Gummies very tasty, absolutely the best I've had. Delicious! Very effective for pain, anxiety relief and sleep. I learned some things about Wyld products I wasn't aware of, and I won't be using them again until I can determine that their products are thoroughly tested and subject to the same standards as other (non-tribal) cannabis products in Nevada. Patty took the time to share the CCB's recall memo with me and both she and the owner answered additional questions about the vaping research and health risk as it relates to cannabis. Wow! I mean I've been to some dispensaries before but this is unlike any other place I've been to! They organically grow all their own strains and make all of their edibles as well. They have a big sign on the main road but the building is a fairly unassuming large metal structure. Unlike most dispensaries but then you realize it's because it is also a grow house! Upon exiting your car the aroma from the fans envelops you, very nice! After security the door opens to an amazing view of the grow house, see photo. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews of Sol but it is kind of a hidden gym on Old 395 near the Chocolate Nugget. First off, when you go inside it's a very welcoming presence at the front desk where the person isn't hidden behind glass like I'm a criminal. After that you get buzzed into the door to the product and crop viewing area and let me tell you it's the best experience I've had at any dispensary. You can really hang out and talk with other customers or the staff. You DO NOT feel rushed and the staff is so knowledgeable with great prices.You can see their grow house when they have plants going which they had some young plants going last time I was there but they're sun grown and organic. You can also see the shop where they make their edibles and then hang out on the deck, weather permitting. Made my first trip yesterday and i dont think i will be back. Very friendly service and had a spanking new lobby area. I picked up a quarter of their "award winning" grandaddy purple. I wasnt impressed with anything about it. First off, it was harvested in 12/18. Its dry af, smells like dirt and just tastes old. Not only does this dispensary grown its own product but that product is LITERALLY the best! Located in a gorgeous part of Washoe Valley, as soon as you walk in you feel at ease and welcomed. All of the staff are polite, funny, and knowledgeable with the owner being one of the most knowledgeable and funny characters. On my visit yesterday, I went in to grab their wonderful gummies and was greeted by a cute older woman who was selling scarves in the lobby which were gorgeous (an individual the owner lets sell her scarves on Fridays and Saturdays). When I went to the counter, the owner greeted me and immediately helped me find what I needed in addition to another individual behind the counter. The owner asked about my day and my plans and at the end of this wonderful experience, provided me with free product as a thank you for our patronage both with them and with the wonderful scarf woman up front in the lobby. They are by far the BEST dispensary in the Reno-Carson area with no true competition. read more

I love the energy of Sol, from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. The employees are always friendly, beyond helpful with recommendations & we never feel rushed. They have a pretty sweet deal at the moment, half oz - mix & match 1/8ths for $100. They have displays of flower to smell and see to help you decide. My only complaint, I wish the terp & lab results were on the floor without having to ask to see them. The employees are always happy to talk testing results and make recommendations based on what you're looking for. We appreciate the genuine customer care provided and knowing that Sol really just wants to make sure you leave with what you want. Their website has all of their discounts listed, as well as their menu. Their prices are pretty good compared to those in Reno. We tend to shop around based on sales & product availability. Sol has great prices & awesome selection of flower (maybe 20+ strains?) They also have a cool labeling system so consumers know what they're in for on each product when they get home (indica, sativa, hybrid). Depending on what time of year you visit, their grow (cultivation) can be viewed from the lobby. Its stunning! I hate that I always forget to take pics. I also loved seeing the support of local artists (Prism Magic) to make their tie-dye shirts! Sol is a great addition to our Northern Nevada community! read more

Nothing like in Illinois. The prices are a lot less expensive than in Illinois. It was beautiful to see their grow behind large windows. The people were very nice.
