Recently, they changed their policies regarding reward points. In order to participate, you MUST allow them to send you marketing and sales spam. The experience feels a bit awkward. You enter and show your ID then go into a recreational or medical line. Medical get a special line and any time the medical counter is full medical customers get to cut in line on the recreational side as if recreational users are second class citizens. The products are not on display for the most part and you cant actually see what your ordering in person. You wait in line and place your order with a electronic tablet with the website up. Then the cashier will show you the item in its packaging before putting it in a bag but you cant actually see the product or bud until your home and paid for... weird. Then the bag is stapled shut as if its bad to try and even see what you order before leaving the premises. Items online were out of stock... and there are recreational limits per person that is NOT shown on the site.. so if you place an order for pickup you may not actually be able to get everything once you go in. You can only get 5 edibles at a time for example and topical creams count as an edible as if you are going to eat it. The RSOs are based on the weight of the whole product including packaging and syringe instead of just the cannabis. PLACE YOUR ORDER ONLINE BEFORE GOING IN. Save yourself some time and frustration by placing your order before going in because if you don't you will have to do it when you get to the store anyway. The screens you have to do this on are ridiculously large (why they arnt iPads blows my mind), hard to navigate, and the website isn't the same as online so it's hard to find what your looking for if your use to the website. I asked the bud tender and she said that placing the order before is the new standard, which really sucks if your looking for input on the product your thinking of buying. Hate this. Next the "bud tenders" are just cashiers. Most of them have no clue about the products they are selling and are usually taking a guess. I had a specific question on something and the cashier asked around and didn't have an answer for me. That's disappointing because I'm use to bud tenders guiding you to the best experience. This is the most poorly run dispensary I have ever been to. It is the closest to my house and I avoid it like the plague. The last 3 times I have been there I have left without buying anything because they are never staffed and you just wait in a line that doesn't move. Look at your cameras around 6:30 Monday 1/15. Unassuming from the front, this dispensary is in an industrial space. The parking is pretty tight, but it's a great location. The gals at the front desk were awesome and hilarious, really nice. I felt safe and welcome the whole time. Three ATMs inside, great service at the counter. He got the second one, but I didn't notice until I left that he gave me the indica Wedding Cake instead of the hybrid that I ordered. My preferred dispensary of choice since it's right down the road from my house. They were really disorganized and slow at their old location and a few months into their new one, but every other time since about March that I've visited, I've been through with little hassle. Everyone I've interacted with has been super nice and I've had quality product from them each time (save for some Encore Edibles Sweet Stones, which were awful - I've gotten a bigger buzz from Halls). They're also better on tax prices than most other dispensaries in Dupage or Crook County. I love the online ordering option and the rewards are a good perk, too! I regret leaving such a good review last time, but today was a bad experience. The person helping me grabbed an extra thing of gummy's and charge me for it, was not on my order. I forgot the discount card and he would not give me another one or the discount . I ended up spending more than I wanted because of the extra gummy ring up And I really can't afford to be spending extra right now. I was counting on the discount card but forgot it at home. Went with my fiancé to the new zen leaf dispensary in st. Charles, we wanted to see what st. Charles has to offer, at first glance, it's looks bleak. We didn't expect it to be in an industrial park. We walked in, it was very prison like, which is kinda shocking because all the dispensarys in Schaumburg are pretty awesome. So seeing this from st. Charles is very shocking. Their set up is like get your shit and go. Not one of workers looked like they wanted to be there. Kinda looked like the DMV. My fiancé went up to the counter and was following all directions. Gave His drivers license and waited for his order. Upon paying he asked to see if they do military discount. He then pulls out his Government issued Military ID, and gave it to the cashier. She took his ID and brought it to her manager. After waiting a few moments, she came back and told us "I'm sorry but that discount is only for veterans." My fiancé and I we're stunned to say the least. Then the manager came over and told us that they needed a DD2-14 (which is a piece of paper that states you're in the military and when you get out or retire vs A GOVERNMENT ISSUED MILITARY ID) instead of his government issued military ID.
