I went there for the first time getting a manicure. My nails grow fast so I do my own nails. I took my twin granddaughters there for manicure too so I had a man and the twin 15 yr olds had women. All 3 workers spoke in their language and never spoke to us at all. I wanted gel polish I never had before but when it was time to put your hand in the nail dryer he never said anything or looked up at me and kept doing hand motions until I had to say we don't understand sign language so can yall please start verbally letting us know what to do. Then went back all 3 of the workers went back talking in their language. But you can tell they were laughing at me because the lady next to the man started laughing and then looking at me. It took over 31/2 hrs to do our real nails. They were lucky I still tipped them $10 each. . I was very very disappointed in the staff's attitude. I wanted this to be the go to place. I was starting a tradition with my only granddaughters. They did a good job but took forever. I will go somewhere else. Sucks because they are down the street from me. read more

I went here for the first time yesterday on Mother's Day. I had a very pleasant experience. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. I had Jenny and she did my pedicure and manicure with a design. My nails came out very nice! The space is clean and relaxing. I recommend giving this place a try! read more

cut my fingers and cuticles so bad I had blood dripping off my fingers. shape was horrible, colors were nice and they apologized for the cuts but I was given no discount and paid full price (60$). I absolutely love the matte finish on these nails. The nails are strong and holding amazingly well. The salon is clean and well kept. My manicurist did an amazing and professional job. I've tried multiple nail salons since I've moved back from Vail, Colorado and could not find any place that did a professional proper job until now. At the other salons I've tried my nails would fall off, painfully, after only a few days. I thought I was going to have to go all the way to the city (or back to Colorado) until I found Zen. My mom wanted a pedicure this afternoon and I spent her to Zen since the location was close to home. Apparently, the nail color bled onto the skin after the technician diluted it. After several attempts of trying to obtain the technician's attention to address the problem a different technician tried to repair the color without success. She cameo home with a botched nail. It is an unfortunate experience as I had a gel manicure last week at Zen which was good. With the exception of the staff all chatting and showing off their Instagram pictures to each other, I thought it was a decent place for in and out service. So disappointed with Zen Nails! I had a pedicure last weekend and the polish started coming off. Yesterday I had explained what happened and showed them and then was rudely told "too busy, come back later" and was repeatedly asked when I had the pedicure like I was lying. I visited this salon twice. My first visit was good. The nail technician was attentive and friendly. The second time I went, the tech was quite unfriendly. Additionally, the guy at the front desk, who sits on his phone the all the time, took my payment before I had my nails polished, but then aggressively accused me of not paying as I was asking out the door. My experience with Tim nigyun was just horrific. First I'd like to mention I was using my Taiwanese translator and he was talking crap about me with his coworker. Second of all, I got a regular pedicure two days later all of the polish chipped off I wasn't hitting my feet against walls or scratching them against rocks. All of it was off. After booking an appointment for a gel Mani, the tech sat me right next to another client, although there were several empty seats that would have been better in regard to Covid-19. When she began to take my polish off, I couldn't ignore that the table top was filthy with grit from the last client. I asked her to clean it and she did. Then she picked up a used, dirty file to attempt to file my nails. I asked her if she had clean utensils and she took out a clean emery board and began to rub it against the used one. While I was sitting in the chair with my feet in the water I get a call from them asking if I was going to come in for my appointment...I told them I was already here, sitting with my feet in the water. I went for a pedicure this week and when I got home I realized I had a smudged toenail. I proceeded to wipe off the part that smudged (2 hours after the pedicure) and all the nail polish came off. I then started to wipe every toe and all the nail polish wiped right off. I won't be returning, they must have used a gel Polish on my regular pedicure. read more

My first and last time here! I had a 9:00 appointment for a fill and a pedicure. They did my pedicure first. Then I had to wait awhile for someone to be free for a fill. The guy doing my nails was so unpleasant. Barely said a word to me and way too fast. He didn't even let my gel dry before adding more coats. My nails came out really thick. Terrible vibe in there. A few months ago I had a terrible experience with my nails when I told them in the beginning what I wanted, showed them a picture, and told them they were for a wedding. Not to mention it was just French so it really isn't that difficult. They put a disgusting sparkly pink color as my base when I said no. Today I decided to give it another try and I just went for a dip powder on my natural nail. THIS BITCH kept cutting my skin with the stupid drill!! I let it go the first few times but then I told her it was hurting me. SHE LAUGHS in my face and continues to do it. I pull my hand away and I said ouch that is my skin not my nail and she said I know and then continued. I paid and tipped her and left. She's lucky I even tipped her. We will never step foot in Zen Nails ever again! For years we went there for gel manicures, as well as pedicures, but never again. They wrecked my beautiful, natural nails by continually drilling off the layers off my nails. I once had beautiful strong nails, and I had to have another salon cut them down because they were all cracking off! Instead of letting the old polish soak off, they want to get their clients in and out, so they won't take the time to let them soak, instead they use the drill to hurry up the manicure procedure. It's all about the money there, not the client satisfaction. Shame on them! Then the manager, Tiffany, lies to you when you find someone you're happy with, not letting you book them. She'll just tell you they don't work there anymore. While that worker is sitting right there, it makes absolutely no sense. My adult daughter was screamed at by another manager at their Williamsville location about missing an appointment, when she didn't even have an appointment. He embarrassed her with his ridiculous rant. I honestly do not believe all the workers are licensed here, and should not be able to work in this profession. My manicurist was very friendly and professional. The salon was so clean and cute and my nails turned out amazing!

I went here before and after COVID-19. They follow all the protocols for covid and I felt very comfortable taking my girlfriend there to get pedicures. It was well worth our time and money since the atmosphere is nice as well! It looks really clean! My nail tech was Tracy and she made me feel really comfortable through the process as I am not someone who gets their nails done often. I just got a basic Pedicure, my girlfriend on the other hand had some really nice looking nails at the end of it (she got a manicure as well). Years ago, this place was good.. The location on Main street Williamsville better than Orchard Park. Lisa did a great job, I have spent a lot of money here. Since Lisa has left, I have had terrible experiences there. Today bad enough for me to leave a review. I made an appt for 9 am because I had work at 11, I was told I had to wait because staff was late. I explained I had to goto work. The miserable girl sat me down. The 45 min-1hour Suppose to be appt was less than 20 min. She put my hands in cold water for 20 seconds then pretended to cut my cuticles.. then slopped some gel polish on them. I was having a rough morning and this was suppose to be a relaxing hour, but I was uncomfortable and wanted to leave. I always leave generous tips, but felt that the $43 for a manicure was enough and I shouldnt even have paid that, so no tip. I hope the owners read these messages and fix your services. read more

I had the worst nail experience of my life at Zen Nails & Spa Orchard Park tonight. It wasn't because of the nails - it was because of the terribly rude staff. The individual working on my nails was extremely mean to me. His comments were weird, passive aggressive, and honestly I felt extremely uncomfortable the whole entire time. You could tell he was just miserable and didn't want to work tonight. I'm pretty sure he cut my finger on purpose because he was sarcastically apologizing and laughing while it happened. I absolutely LOVEEEEE this location!! Tracey always takes her time on my nails and always makes sure I'm happy with my nails! I always get dip but I've also done acrylic in the past and Tracey is amazing!! In my opinion both locations have done an amazing job after returning from covid to get back into business and keep their clients happy!! I will only recommend zen to all my friends and family because of a good job they always do. Worst nail job in wny. Pedicure was awesome, the girl was friendly and I really enjoyed. The nail girl said not two words to me, did my nails in record time and they looked it. She never evened them out, so I left with lumpy looking and uneven nails. Within 3 days I had 4 broken nails and had to clip the others to try to deflect any attention to my nails. I cancelled the second appt and found a salon that is comparable in price, as friendly staff and they did an awesome job cleaning up the mess from zen nails. Sure, zen looks impressive and clean, but I felt like I was just another set of nails on an assembly line. Get them in, do them quick, take their money and get them out.
