I have pills I can take but I prefer not to. My boyfriend suggested we go up the street to the local CBD shop. I hadn't tried edibles before and thought it was a great idea. You can't take any pictures inside for security reasons. They had the entire counter blocked with clear plastic for Covid reasons I assume. It looked pretty excessive to me. I was helped by Tony. He looked about 21, but I told him what I was looking for and he suggested a THC edible. When he mentioned that it had THC in it I was a little concerned because I have a prescription that I take that I need to give a urine sample for. He told my the THC usually lasts in the body for around 30 days. I had just given a sample about 2 weeks ago, and my doctor wouldn't order another one for about 90 days. I was in the clear. I handed Tony my debit card to pay and found out it was cash only. My boyfriend didn't have any cash so I tried to use their ATM. Their ATM rejected my ATM and my credit card. I was in pain and frustrated. So we drove down to 7-11. I was waiting behind a very tall, handsome, tan man. My card works at 7-11, so back we go. As I'm going in, I run into the tall, handsome, tan man. Of course we recognize each other and say a friendly hello. Now that I've got my cash, Tony's got my goods. I can't wait to try them. They were a total hassle to open. One gummy is the serving size. It was really tasty. I got the lavender and honey. I took it at about 4:00 pm and by 4:30 my headache and neck pain were gone. The package says it takes about 2 hours to take the full effect. So I won't be drinking anything but water. I'm a fan of edibles! Edit: I took another edible before bed. Over the past 18 months this place has declined significantly and today was my last day visiting Eden Craft Cannabis. Some of my experiences in the past year include: - Coming in for their Black Friday week sale and the budtenders had no clue it was happening. I had to pull up an email to inform them of it. They only had a few strains from the brands included in the sale and the buds I checked out seemed super old. I blame this on the owners/management not the staff. - Buying reccomended tier 1 strains and coming home to find them greatly lacking tier one quality. - Eden Cannabis - Sandy Blvd was trying to get rid the Future strain for a long time at a heavy discount. In 25 years of smoking flower I've never had an allergic reaction to cannabis. This bud completely clogged my nose up and tightened my chest making it hard to breath. I am almost certain this bud had either powdery mildew or mold in it, which I am highly allergic to. Perhaps it was heavily discounted because of this issue and they were trying to dump it fast. - I came home one evening to realize I had overpaid for flower than what was advertised. - It seems like their more knowledgeable budtenders are no longer there. Perhaps it's due to how poorly this shop is run. - For what seemed like 6 months their Leafly menu was not accurate. You can only blame this on a "tech issue" for so long. I came in after researching a strain several times only to be disappointed by it not being in stock. I sent them a neutral email to find out what was up and never received a reply. How's that for customer service, I'm honestly sad to be writing this. I loved supporting a smaller neighborhood dispensary but this place has fallen so far. But I am done with this location and hope this review steers you clear from what was once a great dispensary. If you are in the Roseway area of Portland check out AmeriCanna Rx, Lucky Lion Dispensary or even the chain Nectar for a better experience.
