It was Saturday and I was spending the day with my boyfriend as usual. But today I had a headache and neck pain. This is not unusual after working 40 hour week. I have pills I can take but I prefer not to. My boyfriend suggested we go up the street to the local CBD shop. I hadn't tried edibles before and thought it was a great idea. You can't take any pictures inside for security reasons. They had the entire counter blocked with clear plastic for Covid reasons I assume. It looked pretty excessive to me. I was helped by Tony. He looked about 21, but I told him what I was looking for and he suggested a THC edible. When he mentioned that it had THC in it I was a little concerned because I have a prescription that I take that I need to give a urine sample for. He told my the THC usually lasts in the body for around 30 days. I had just given a sample about 2 weeks ago, and my doctor wouldn't order another one for about 90 days. I was in the clear. I handed Tony my debit card to pay and found out it was cash only. My boyfriend didn't have any cash so I tried to use their ATM. Their ATM rejected my ATM and my credit card. I was in pain and frustrated. So we drove down to 7-11. I was waiting behind a very tall, handsome, tan man. My card works at 7-11, so back we go. As I'm going in, I run into the tall, handsome, tan man. Of course we recognize each other and say a friendly hello. Now that I've got my cash, Tony's got my goods. I can't wait to try them. They were a total hassle to open. One gummy is the serving size. It was really tasty. I got the lavender and honey. I took it at about 4:00 pm and by 4:30 my headache and neck pain were gone. The package says it takes about 2 hours to take the full effect. So I won't be drinking anything but water. I'm a fan of edibles! Edit: I took another edible before bed. There's dispensaries way closer to my house, but I've always been loyal to thos place. They switched up their rewards program and lost all that I had built up over 2 years as well. The things I look for are: 1-cleanliness 2-ambiance 3-cannabis knowledge 4-proper handling of product 5-price point When I first walked in I was genuinely surprised and happy to see a clean and well organized store front. I was greeted and immediately advised of the specials. Both cleanliness and ambiance score pretty high. Cannabis knowledge-I had a brief but interesting chat about the research and new stuff that's coming out of a couple of research organizations labs. Loved this! Theives. I just checked my bank transactions from yesterday, after using their ATM to withdraw $40. I was aware there'd be a $3 charge to use it, so grand total should be $43. Right? Wrong. There are two other charges of $2 with the same time stamp & terminal ID. I think the first one was because I checked my balance (mistakenly, while trying to rush through the prompts). I take cbd for anxiety. It works much better than any pills I could be prescribed. We've often purchased from budlandia and while they never seem to have the same brand two trips in a row they've met my needs until now. I sent my husband today to get a refill bottle. I sent him with my current bottle because he is not knowledgeable and I figured if he just showed them the bottle and said she needs this, we would get something comparable. He came home after purchasing. Of course per usual they didn't have the same brand but my husband said the person who helped him reassured him it was comparable. It was slightly cheaper but not so much as to raise flags. I ask him the dosage and he opens the box to read the bottle. Come to find out this bottle is less than half the dosage I need to control my anxiety. We called them and they can do nothing because they don't accept returns but invited us to walk on up there again and buy yet another bottle. I cannot afford more than one bottle a month. Summing things up here we got scammed. Mg y husband was told the new bottle was comparable to the last. He showed the clerk the bottle and was reassured. Hes not educated on the matter but weve been going there long enough to trust them. Tonight I went to Budlandia having too much pain needed help. Went in greeting on I asked about the cap he was wearing but not for sale. Ok cool hat. Was checking the edibles single pack ..mind you I have been there many many times always great fun joking staff..not tonight. They freaked because I was too close to being behind the counter by the edibles. Had my prescription shades on this female came over asked if they were scripts I said yes getting a lol irrated at their attitude. Long story but bottom line the assist. Mgs.(Tully or Tilley was his name)said I had attitude to the two employees that were there. Bottom line when I got home I didn't open my bag til almost 1030...low & behold I had NO WEED in either container. Bloody wholes just took my money. I called left a msg & looking in to contact OLCC & file a consumer complaint. If my attitude bothered them either know how to handle or ask me to leave. NEVER sale an empty container.
