The bathtub alone makes the entire trip worth it. The style here will truly take you back to the 1910s. So classy! Don't even get me started on the food. The food was incredible and clearly homemade. Everything here is made from scratch. This place is so charming!! We had to show up way later than the allowed check-in and were kindly accommodated! It is so peaceful here! We were even given a bottle of champagne to celebrate our wedding night. The ONLY downside is that the rooms are not very soundproof. The mind wanders... But, it is an old home, so this is not at all a downfall that would hinder my return. A trip to the Corinthian is money and time well spent.

Soft music coming from hidden speakers fill your ears as you walk through the entrance. You are greeted with a staircase immediately and a hallway that leads to the kitchen. The homey-feel is at its best here and it's very comforting. It doesn't feel like a hotel. The room that we had was the Presidential Suite. It included a really big bathtub, which I was HUGE fan of. The bathroom was really really nice and classy. The bed was very comfortable. In the morning, we had breakfast and it was REALLY good!! The bread was fresh and the poundcake was delicious. The lady that made the breakfast was also really nice!! Overall, this place made the greatest impression on me and my wife.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Adolphus in downtown Dallas. It's a beautiful, luxurious hotel with…read moreso much historic character and gorgeous décor throughout. I can definitely see why it would be a popular choice for weddings, special events, or even just taking beautiful photos. The location is also great and very walkable. It's near the AT&T Discovery District and right across from The Exchange Food Hall, so there are plenty of options nearby. The hotel itself also has several places to eat and drink, including Rodeo Bar, which always seemed to be packed whenever I walked by! I was really interested in doing afternoon tea at The French Room, but unfortunately I wasn't able to experience it this trip. I tried calling to make a reservation but wasn't able to get through, and when I stopped by in person, they were already booked. There is also a dress code, and since I was already on my way out and wasn't dressed for tea, I couldn't just pop in. Definitely something I would recommend planning and reserving ahead of time if it's on your list. The room was very nice and clean, with a sitting area and couch plus a separate sleeping and bathroom area. It was a comfortable size, although I wouldn't have minded a little more space. I'm sure they have larger room and suite options available as well. One thing I did find a little strange was that when I arrived on Wednesday, there were used glasses sitting outside a room in the hallway. They remained there throughout my entire stay and were still there when I left on Friday. My room was being cleaned during my stay, so I was surprised that no one picked them up over those couple of days. It was a small detail, but something I wouldn't really expect at a hotel of this level. I also visited the spa during my stay and had a great experience. The staff throughout the hotel were very kind and welcoming. I didn't get a chance to check out the pool, so I'll have to save that for another visit. Overall, The Adolphus is a beautiful, upscale hotel in a great downtown Dallas location. Between the historic architecture, décor, restaurants, spa, and walkability, there's a lot to enjoy without even leaving the property. There were a couple of small service details that could have been better, but overall I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return and next time I'm making my tea reservation early!
