Convenient location next door to the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center. 3 restaurants inside the hotel, and other restaurants across the drive.

This is my favorite place to stay when Downtown Dallas.. walking distance to almost anything. The restaurant on site is farm to table and delicious yet priced very competitively. There is a great outdoor pool on 4th floor with outdoor bar. Rooms are as you would expect.

I traveled to Dallas for a work trip and I wish I could have stayed here for more than one night. I got in late and the front PM desk clerk, Valerie and valet, Mohammed were so kind and great getting me checked in and taken care of! You receive a free drink ticket upon check-in and it's good for coffee/tea or house wine/beer. I got a nice city view room on the 17th floor and absolutely loved it. Waking with the sun and seeing the city wake up was a great start to the week. I took a stroll around the pool and even peeked in at the gym - they both look over the city. Everything was clean and felt luxury. I went down to the coffee shop for a breakfast sandwich and a white chocolate pistachio latte. Both were delicious. I even wandered through the attached market and it was super cute. Lots of modern items and I purchased sunscreen while I was there. There was some confusion when I went to check out at the market as no one was behind the counter. I asked the fella restocking the coffee items who I should check out with and he seemed a little busy but got the barista's attention for me. I opted for the late checkout since I arrived late. I went to the pool in the afternoon, got my free drink and enjoyed the water and sunshine. Unfortunately, late checkout became a problem when my room card stopped working before 1 and I could not access the elevator to my room before checkout. The AM front desk attendant was able to help me out but only after a short wait. I felt bad because there are signs about a no swimsuit dress code in the lobby and I was wet from the pool waiting for 10 minutes. It seemed like there were other workers just standing around by the front doors. Overall, I would absolutely return to this location and I will make booking with OMNI hotels one of the top choices on my list in the future.

Pool is an awesome atmosphere, right by the Dallas ball. Great hotel space. Clean and friendly. Great hospitality.

    Some sort of fluid stains

The only reason this hotel is getting 2 stars is because of the incredible service from the front desk agents, and the Mokara spa experience. If it weren't for them, it would be a one star unless yelp decides to start allowing negative star reviews. The lobby is beautiful and spacious, and the spa was fabulous, which would lead you to believe that for $500 per night, the rooms would be just as good right? WRONG. The first room we checked in to had scuffs all over the walls, dust everywhere, and the toiletries had clearly been used. No problem, sometimes housekeeping misses a room in a massive complex like this. We go down to get a different room and we're "upgraded" to a premier room for the inconvenience. This was a very nice gesture, however it got so much worse. The second room was disgusting. Stains on the beds including mystery fluids and what looked like bed bug droppings, a badly repaired wall, and even more dust. I was NOT staying to investigate to see if actual bugs accompanied the stains. When we went to ask for our money back to go to a different hotel, I showed the front desk agent the photos I took, and she was horrified as well. At that moment, a loud racist woman started yelling about how she can't be treated this way because "I'm a white woman who goes to church" and accusing housekeeping of stealing her hotel room key.

Great hotel located Downtown next to Convention Center. Great location. Lots of restaurant options very close. Rooms and hotel accommodations are great. Rooftop pool with a view. Christmas decorations nice. If a downtown location is needed this is a great spot. Price could be something to watch.

The wife and I will staycation here on occasion. Love the service and the location is great for getting around town quickly. The rooftop pool is the crown jewel of the hotel. Very well kept. Clean and staff is attentive. Drinks from the rooftop bar are solid as well. The rooms are great. Nice views of the city depending on where you end up. The staff was very amenable and helpful with what was happening the weekend we stayed. We had a small room cleaning issue. No big deal. The hotel went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.. (pictured below) Tristin Simon helped us out greatly and made sure our stay was top notch. Thank you and we will return!!

The Omni Hotel Dallas had amazing staff all around. The following services were unmatched: From valet, to check in, to concierge giving free drink vouchers, to chocolate mousse cake and a sweet card in our room for our anniversary, to room service, to the house bar with excellent bartenders making excellent drinks, to check out and the valet bringing our car around when we left. We will definitely be back to Omni Dallas. Highly recommend Omni Dallas. 10 out of 10. Y'all know customer service!

I was in Dallas for business that coincided with a cowboys/texans MNF game, yikes. However the parking and check in was breezy. I chose the Omni because it was walking distance from where I needed to be the following morning AND because it overlooks my Carrie Bradshaw era downtown condo when I lived there. The attendant changed my room to allow my view to face that condo (my heart has struggled to move back). I needed confirmation that ship had sailed. Immediately I was given beverage vouchers, nice touch because I needed a coffee (I do not drink alcohol but live for coffee). The baristas in the hotel made the best one I'd had in a long time. Everyone was great and the rooms are nice/clean with a tv in the bathroom mirror. I normally like the newest greatest hotel and the highest floor and never stayed at the Omni because it was my view when I lived there. I was pleasantly surprised by the inclusive credit for dining and the restaurants in the quadrangle where this could be applied. Everyone was so helpful in providing directions since I've been away for a while and there's construction. Walked my whole old neighborhood and decided ultimately I'm a Dallas gal in Houston now. However, the highlight is that there's a Bob's Steak and Chop house at this location (I reference them as the standard for most my reviews). Ultimately we ate a lot of everything, I visited the library, my son worked out in the gym and we took cool photos. Visiting your own city should be this good. Reminded me of the Moran Houston which I love in citycentre. We stayed 2 days and late checkout was a courtesy they obliged. I finished my business and my son loved the stay. Their staff is amazing. Short one star because the rooms are smaller than I prefer and some restaurants were not open. But not Omni's fault on the latter.

Love this Hotel. I have come for several meetings/events and it's always top notch. Staff is professional and the food is always amazing (didn't get pic of the meal but WOW so good!) They have a lot to offer in the hotel and offer both self or valet parking. Great location within walking of a lot of Dallas restaurants

Beautiful hotel with clean and well maintained rooms. I was here for a convention. The Omni seems to be committed to maintaining a high standard of excellence as the convention rooms were set up nicely, the snack area during break time had a nice assortment of goodies and the restrooms were immaculately maintained. The people working security detail were very professional as well. The Omni offered decent restaurants inside and outside on South Lamar Street. I dined at the Texas Spice, Bob's steak and chop house, hops and hens and Morsels. The food quality was superb and I will review the restaurant's separately and not here. Some Pros and Cons: PROS: 1. Spacious and clean room. 2. Large LED TV 3. Rotary knobs on lamps to control the brightness 4. HVAC easily maintains temperature. 5. Mini Fridge and safe 6. Coffee machine 7. Gym is 24/7 8. Elevators require your key card to activate. 9. 2 bottles of water complimentary in room at check in CONS: 1. Water pressure is weak. 2. Takes forever for hot water to turn hot, never really gets hot enough 3. Gym water cooler was out of water, 2 days in a row 4. Fee to use wifi. but free when you become an omni member 5. No vending machines on the room floor for snacks, only ice machines. 6. During convention the snacks were gratis, but coffee was $5 a cup. 7. Parking is not free A great hotel located in a very desirable location in the downtown Dallas area.

Omni Dallas Hotel has an Ice slating rink temporarily located in front of the hotel. We arrived around 6pm, I wanted them to experience ice skating at night , the Christmas lights and lights from the surrounding buildings just adds to the dark sky and moon, simply enhances the atmosphere. However , I did not want to get there so late and so crowded. Needless to say, it was crowed the entire time. It was an amazing things to see and experience. 99% of the skaters did not know how to skate, walk let alone stand on ice . 75% of us fell and slide on the ice. It was amazing seeing so many different types of people interacting with each other. People were failing and strangers helping them up, everybody having fun and not being embarrassed that they had no idea what they were doing . We even had a little girl skate up to us and introduce herself and make small talk. It was a little pricey in my opinion, we paid close to $80 for 3 people. We enjoyed ourselves and skated about an hour , before we left to see what the 4 surrounding restaurants had to offer . With the skating rink being just steps away from all of the restaurants, it goes without saying that they were all either packed with people or way too expensive for just a bite after skating . So we decided to leave and eat else where. Parking was very convenient and had plenty of parking spots in well lit areas, which was important to me because it was just me and two youngest daughters. We parked literally across the street from the Omni hotel , paid $18 for 24 hours. Only thing I wasn't so pleased with outside of the price, was the size of the skating rink. There wasn't enough space for the amount of people that was in the rink at that one time to skate comfortably/ safely. Majority of the falls were due to not being able to move around each other. Overall we had a great time , and I hope many others get the opportunity to check this ice skating rink out while it's still available.

Ask the Community - Omni Dallas Hotel

Can you be under 21 to purchase a room?

No, you can not. According to their website, you must be 21 and above. Otherwise, if you're 17 and under, you'd need a guardian or a parent to book the room.

Do they have a dry sauna and steam room for hotel guests?

More than Likely I believe. It's all located by the spa and next to the outdoor swimming pool. Swimming pool is heated outdoors 🤗

How old do you have to be to check in?

Hello Lacey R.! Guests must be at least 21 years old with a valid form of ID and payment for the room. Hope to see you soon!

Is there a cigar smoking area?

Hi Eric! You’re welcome to smoke in our smoking area next the valet stand. Thank you!

I've called the front desk and they are not sure if room service is being offered at the moment. I am planning on staying there next weekend 27-29th is 24hr room service still available?

Hello Chris D. We currently do not offer 24 hr room service however, we have introduced Omni Dash. Omni Dash will deliver your to-go meals from select restaurants during select hours when the restaurants on open. For next weekend, The Owners Box and…

I've heard the Omni here may have Peloton Tread in their gym? Is this true? Edit : thank you for…

Hello Colin! While we do not carry the Peloton Tread, we do have two Peloton Bikes. Thanks for your inquiry and we hope to see you soon!

What is the biggest room available and how much is it a night?

Hello T X. Our largest guest room is the Presidential Suite at 1805 square feet, starting at $1499/night. To book, you must sign a group rooms contract with a minimum of 10 guest rooms. Our sales team would be happy to assist you. They can be…

How much is it to have a wedding at the Omni about 200 guests?

Hello Tysha! Prices will vary depending on your wants and needs. A wedding can range anywhere from $2500 to $25000 and up. The best way for us to quote you an accurate price would be to call our sales line at 214-744-6664. We hope to hear from you…

Can two parents and three children (13,7,5) stay in one room? Also is this hotel kid friendly?

Hello Regina. We do not recommend only having one guest room for a family five. Per fire code, we cannot put a roll-away bed in a queen/queen room. We suggest reserving two connecting rooms, one king and one queen/queen. Please call us at…

Can someone tell me the difference between the Premier Kings room and the Premier Executive King room?

Premier King rooms are smaller than Premier Executive Kings rooms. In the Executive rooms, you get more space with a sofa and the rooms are also located on the higher floors. Try to get a room on the higher end, like 2330 ... meaning the last 2…

Is the pool open 24 hours? Is it also possible for a guest to invite friends to the pool?

No, the pool is not open 24 hours. I guess technically you could bring guests (but not more than three because that is the room limit) however they wouldn't be able to use the restroom or go inside - it requires a valid hotel key to get through the…

Is the pool open this weekend?

Hello Kristin B. Our Uptown Terrace Infinity Pool is open year round as it's heated however, if there is inclement weather, we will close the pool for the safety of our guests. Thank you!

Does this hotel offer smoking rooms?

Not 100% sure, but I don't think so. The front desk crew was very helpful, give them a shout.

Staying at the Omni for one night for a small girls trip.. is there free parking for hotel guests?

Unfortunately, no. The only options are to valet, or paid self parking in the garage.

Can hotel guests smoke cigars by the pool?

Thank you for your question, Jolyn B. We do not allow smoking on our Uptown Terrace for the comfort of all our guests. You are welcome to smoke a cigar on any of our patios though. We hope to welcome you soon!

Do you have walk out balconies? Also, do you have Kuerig Coffee makers?

Hello Regina B! Thank you for your inquiry. While we have patios on only the fifth floor facing the Trinity River, the walls are high and there is only a view of the sky, not downtown Dallas. Most guests that ask for these rooms are smoking guests.…

Are there different floors for no pets? I have bad allergies.

Hello Mindy! All our floors are generally not pet floors except a couple. We advise that you call ahead of time to 214-979-4507 so we can make sure to do a deep clean in your room and help alleviate any allergies. We look forward to your visit!

Which type of room had the floor to ceiling windows in the bathroom?
