I've been doing so well, too, like I cut off my threenager 's ballet class cuz she didn't really like it, I just made her do it cuz it was so darn cute. I don't eat out much anymore and I haven't bought any new clothes and shoes since...uhhh last year? (FYI, the ones from Hawaii were gifts.) Plus, I just pluck my own eyebrows but I get lazy nowadays. I don't care if I look like Magnim PI, I'm not paying $40 for wax or threading on my face! We've always had a low key for our daughter 's birthday, but since this is the first year she had actual friends, I thought it would be fun to have a little party to celebrate her birthday. But then I had a horrific picture of 20 toddlers running around at our place for six hours and I panicked! I've never hosted a party like that before. I looked on Yelp and found this company, left a message, and less than 24 hours later, Amanda responded. She sent me a form online and I returned it ASAP to book the date. I didn't even have to pay a deposit! A few days later, Amanda confirmed the date. They're usually busy with events so I had to leave a message each time I called them, but Amanda responded quickly and professionally. Everyone fell in love with Marcus, the balloon guy! Even me!!! He was fun, creative, and very likable. All the kids enjoyed their balloons. Many of our guests took his business card, they thought $125/hour was reasonable. I cringe when I think about how much I spent on that, especially since the kids popped all the balloons. I could've just saved that for her college fund. Next year, though, we're gonna have to stick with cake and ice cream...maybe without the friends. They play at the park everyday anyway. If you're okay with that price and you have that extra money to spend then Marcus is your guy!!!!

So I reached out asking how I can hang it back up, re-tape or what not and she wasn't very helpful so I did what I could and left it at that. I mean accidents happen. I booked her again this past weekend (big mistake) for a balloon garland and backdrop. I was super excited for it. It turned out really cute. She shows up to set it up. Worst customer service skills ever. (The first time she wasn't that bad) I go out to greet her and get the most uncomfortable Hi. I brushed it off and asked if she needed help carrying anything. She answered "nope I got it" well ok then.... She asked where I wanted it placed and I asked where do you think would be a good spot. And she suggested the spot where eventually she placed it. Within a little over an hour that the party started the backdrop just fell back to the ground and broke. Everyone turned and looked confused. No one was around no wind or anything. We went to pick it up and noticed the hinges were loose. I was upset that I didn't get pics when it was time to cut the cake etc. and worried cause I didn't not want her to think we caused the backdrop to fall. So I called her and explained what happened. She said well the floor was uneven. Ummm you suggested that spot. But after she didn't take responsibility for saying that. She was rude and said "email me what you want me to do" ok.... No one has ever worded something like that to me. Doesn't sound professional for a business owner. So I did what she said and I didn't get a response. I texted her the following day asking if she received my email. She never said yes she just started getting very defensive and asking if I had a video of the backdrop falling and it immediately made me LOL. Like I had my phone ready to record the fall. I understand her policies say it's not on her if something happens to the rentals. But it was the way (minimal support) and the spot it was placed on. She did nothing to help me out. She just got rude and defensive and started accusing us of moving her set up when she left. I sent her a picture of it I took as soon as she left. We did not move anything!!!!!! She doesn't understand accidents happen and that maybe her products aren't as good as they should be. Or maybe secure them better?? My husband and his friends are business owners and they couldn't believe how she set it up and how rude her responses were to me. She didn't try to understand my frustration. Everything was my fault. She didn't offer anything to me. And she still posted on Instagram a picture of it and said "how does someone do this to something" like we physically knocked it over or destroyed with our own hands. If I can give it 0 stars I would. Horrible experience. This customer didn't receive anything in return for my bad experience and frustration!

I was instantly greeted when I came in. The gal that greeted me also checked me out. She was super sweet. After I purchased a few things, I walked back and asked her if they sold lighters. They were conviently at the register. Got rang up again and made my way out the door. I appreciate how nice the gal was today. In the past, the associates were so rude which always threw me off. You work at such a fun store to be so rude and unhappy. I stopped coming in for a while. I have always found it fun to come in and see all the fun stuff they have. All the fun stuff for every holiday, I miss that. But today was a special visit. Had to make sure I got the fun candles and birthday hats for my grandma's special day. There's not that many birthdays left under her belt so I have to make sure it was special for her.
