I loved ZG. Before & After photos 3 week program!
    Damaris B.

Ii've shed many pounds since i started training with ZG then i ultimately I hit a plateau. I Decided to join their 3 week program bc what the heill it's only 3 weeks right! I was nervous to not be able to accomplish more than 3 weeks or even the 3 weeks. Very thankful they provide a smaller time frame yet so effective, I SURPASSED MY LIMITS (woah) i was amazed of how much i grew throughout only 3 weeks!! As you can see for yourself. Learning how to properly manage the eating habits was the very most important part. Bc without proper nutrition what are we even doing. It honestly takes longer to reach the goal. Over all i am so GLAD I joined the program and had the pleasure to have very knowledgeable Coaches to guide me & the rest of the team onto a better lifestyle. Bc it all starts at home. Thank Youu so very much Zero Givens. Now to continue this journey looking forward to further challenges! The marathon continues. ( :

For me, one of the most important things about any place is the people, and ZG is one of those places that the people have made this place feel like a second home. The coaches Dory, George, Gigi, Alex, and David love what they do, and they do it well. They make sure the workouts challenge you; they make sure you push past your limits but they also make it fun. Dory, George and their team go above and beyond by also planning fun events throughout the year that bring their people closer together such as potlucks, to holiday activities, to running races together and celebrating the wins. Even if you are an introvert like me and do not participate in all the events, the challenges are also another way you get to know other ZG members and build a community with. That is the case with me. I just finished my first 6-week challenge and let me tell you! What I have gotten out of this challenge goes beyond just losing weight. What I really liked about this challenge is that the workout homework and meal plan/portions were customized to your body and to your goals. These challenges test you in every way physically, emotionally and mentally but the results are something to be so proud of. If you listen to the coaches, listen to yourself and to your support system, you will win in more ways than you think. I gained more than I was hoping, and I was able to do it because of my afternoon girls and the coaches. So, would I recommend ZG? 10000% Would I recommend joining the challenges? Also 10000%

When I started the BBC CHALLENGE AND WHEN I FINISHED!
    Karla G.

Hello my name Karla and I participated in the BBC Challenge 12 weeks. During the 504 hours that I was on the challenge I noticed a lot of changes throughout my body. In the first couple of week I didn't see much of anything and started to contemplate whether it was worth continuing with it. My coaches have given me the confidence to communicate with them to the point where I was comfortable enough to tell them my problem. All they did was give me support and love. They gave me the support that I needed and helped me see what I was fighting for in the end. In the middle of the challenge I started to feel different everywhere. I noticed my mood was changing and how my body was going through its own changes. I lost a lot of weight and I started to feel the effects of it. It had me all over the place until one of the weeks I started to feel like myself again but much happier. I started feeling like I missed the gym every time I wasn't there. Zero Givens started to feel like a safe place for me to work through everything I had on my mind. By the end of it I was in the happiest place mentally and physically I had ever been. I love everything that they put me knowing that I could trust them to help me. Everyone should at least have a chance to be in the Zero Givens family. They will give you nothing but love, support, and tough love. Thank you Zero Givens for giving me the opportunity to participate in this 12 week challenge.

Learned about this place through my gf's cousin. We thought we'd check it out. After the first day, we were hooked! George and Doriann are awesome coaches. They push you to be great no matter what shape you are in. I'm doing the 12 week challenge. I can't wait for the results!!!

Sooooo excited and happy to have this gym right around the corner... there seriously isn't another gym like this in the area! I had stopped working out for over a year and with the whole quarantine situation and the general stress of a pandemic, I honestly gave up on my health and fitness... I FINALLY decided to step foot into Zero Givens because my physical state had gotten so bad and I simply couldn't take it anymore.. i decided to go all on and began the 504hrs program with coach Doriann and WOW! Talk about the beginning of a RESET! I can't believe how in such a small timeframe I am beginning to feel like my old self again and that is something I can simply not put a price on I love you Coach Doriann!! Thank you for your passion in what you do and for making me feel so welcome...I am soooooo excited about the results to come

The Zero Givens 12 week 504 challenge was an opportunity to push and be pushed to our limits. The fantastic coaching team at ZG DTLA and Whittier were incredibly supportive all throughout the process and I couldn't be happier with my results. The ZG community stuck together and we completed this challenge by talking through meal plans, doing homework together and encouraging every person to keep going strong. So proud of myself and others for completing the 12 week challenge and a huge thank you to our fabulous coaches George, Doriann and Juden for their continued support. Excited to continue pushing the limits with ZG!

My 12 week back transformation. I'm a little uneasy showing this BUT I put in this work thanks to my coach

I needed a place to stay in town for a night while my apartment was dealing with construction, and…read moresince I've considered becoming a member of the Los Angeles Athletic Club, I figured this was a pretty good way to test-drive the place. The best part of staying at the hotel is that you get full access to the club, including the gym, pool, locker rooms, spa, sauna, and Jacuzzi. I used the locker room, sauna, and Jacuzzi and really enjoyed all of it. Very nice facilities and definitely the part of the experience that makes staying here different from a normal hotel. The locker room was a little confusing as a first-timer. I had no idea where I was supposed to get a locker or exactly how everything worked, and I happened to arrive at a very busy time. There seemed to be some assumed etiquette that everyone else already understood. A 30-second explanation at hotel check-in would go a long way. The hotel room itself was incredibly clean. Like, noticeably clean. Honestly cleaner than a lot of Marriott properties I've stayed at recently. Beyond that, though, the room is pretty no-frills. Mine was right near the elevator, so it was noisy, and despite being inside this grand historic athletic club, the actual hotel room experience somehow gives a little bit of motel energy. Clean motel energy, but still. Both the hotel staff and restaurant staff were very nice throughout my stay. For dinner I went to Invention, the club's lounge-style restaurant. Really nice atmosphere and a good place to hang out without having to leave the building. I ordered the steak frites and asparagus, plus a cocktail called Respect Your Elders, made with Buffalo Trace bourbon, St-Germain, Amaro Montenegro, and Angostura. Pretty good. Basically what would happen if an Old Fashioned developed a sweeter, slightly more herbal personality. I also had a Sangiovese, which really hit the spot after my recent trip to Italy. And then pecan pie for dessert. Yum. No notes. The steak came out a little more cooked than I would have preferred, but everything was very flavorful. For dinner entertainment, I happened to be sitting next to a couple on what appeared to be an exceptionally awkward first date. No reservation required for that show. The next morning I went to Famous Players coffee shop for breakfast. I had the California breakfast with eggs, avocado, and bacon, plus a latte. Solid breakfast, and more importantly, it was a nice place to wake up, open the laptop, and get some work done over coffee. I also appreciated the photos of USC football players on the walls. Fight On! Overall, I'm glad I stayed here. As a pure hotel, I probably wouldn't go out of my way for the rooms alone. But as a hotel attached to a historic athletic club where you can work out, swim, sauna, soak in the Jacuzzi, eat, drink, get breakfast, and basically spend your entire stay without leaving the building, it's a pretty unique experience. And as someone who had been considering membership, staying overnight was actually a great way to see what the club is really like.

It continues to have the best pool…read morewith advanced filtration system that does not make me feel like a chlorine tablet after swimming. But it now caters to a younger crowd and has substantial co-working space. I've certain found more members using the facilities but also discovered quite a bit of new programmings like the Pilates classes, mahjong club, live jazz performances and movie nights. I was not really sure about the change at the beginning but I am now fully embracing the new LAAC. Many of the staff and members have been here for a long time and it is nice to be greeted by familiar faces when coming to the club. The restaurants are pretty decent. Love to top my salad with a nice piece of salmon after workout at the Famous Players or have a tasty glass of scotch while enjoying the live jazz performance at the Invention. The sports bar Duke's has great happy hours and fun monthly evening karaoke or chess club meetings. The only thing I complain about is the need for shock absorbance and insulation of the noise or moving the weight station. The northwest corner of the Famous Players near Olive Street shakes every time the weightlifters drop their weights, which is very annoying and distracting for the diners. Feel like the ceiling or floor is going to drop out. No joke. For now, I would sit as far away from the northwest corner as I possibly can. But hope the club would look into it. I have been trying to sign up for the monthly wine tasting but they are always full. Maybe consider having the event more frequently or scale up? Regardless, I am still exploring all the new offerings at the club and really pleased with the Pilates classes and the live music performances. Although I am apprehensive when I first see the co-working space and the influx of new members, I now appreciate the additional events and classes that come with the new members and hope the club continues to do well and do better as I am here to stay.

Before training with Jenna, I was dealing with recurring pain, stiffness, muscle strains, and diastasis recti. Since working with her, all of those issues have improved significantly. I became much stronger and achieved incredible body recomp results. At my 1st check in the number on the scale barely moved but I'd lost 6 inches of measurable fat from around my body and replaced lbs of fat w muscle. That's why the inbody scan is so important. I got it done beginning, middle, and end and invested in a smart scale for home. Beyond the physical results, Jenna gave me the knowledge and confidence to train on my own, and I've continued applying what she taught me. Working with Jenna was hands down the best investment in my physical health. I highly recommend meeting with David and allowing him to guide you toward the trainer who best fits your goals and needs. As for the gym itself, it's one of the cleanest Equinox locations I've been to. There is always staff cleaning equipment and keeping everything organized. If it's your first visit, be sure to allow extra time for parking, the garage can take a while to navigate. Also, don't forget to validate your parking and keep track of your ticket.
