We booked a reservation for our large party before a birthday dinner reservation. When we arrived, they had squeezed in a social media influencer, making us miss our reservation time. We told the employees our issue with timing, and after some hesitation, they stopped the influencer's game early. The employees strapped our group in, told us how to play, and go us going. We played the pirate game. It took a bit to get used to, but then once adapted to the graphics and hand controls, wasn't too bad. We were nearing the end of the game, and about to beat the "big boss" at the end, when the game reset. The employee came over and basically said "Whoops, I was trying to watch your game from my screen and hit the EXIT button instead. But here's a business card so you can leave us a review." Very disappointing. Docked one star. It was a cool experience, but not sure we'll return. It's a lot to pay, especially for a big group, to not be able to play for your fully booked time, at your booked time, and to have your game cut short. Buyer beware. read more

My first VR experience, and wow--it was intense but so much fun! We played the Christmas Outbreak game, which was packed with zombies and Frosty the Snowmen. The graphics were incredibly realistic, and the immersive gameplay made me feel like I was right in the middle of the action. Holding the gun was not only thrilling but also quite the workout--it really added to the experience! The teamwork and strategy required kept things exciting, and the mix of holiday-themed chaos was such a unique twist. I waited about 6 weeks before posting this review so that it would be fair to all. We were excited to throw axes for our son's 30th birthday. It was the first time for all three of us. We arrived a bit earlier than instructed. The doors were locked so we called the number on the door to give them a heads up. The gentleman that answered said he was on his way. He arrived about 10 minutes later. We checked in and as we were following him back I accidentally stepped on the painted design on the floor. There were no signs and nothing marked off to indicate the paint was wet. I apologized and was very embarrassed. After we received our axe handling instructions I followed the gentleman back to the front. I let him know that our older son and his family were driving in from Abilene to surprise his brother for his birthday. I mentioned it was a surprise about 5 times. I was so excited to get to have my boys together to celebrate a milestone birthday. They have a very cool selection of throwing implements in addition to axes. We threw axes for an hour and a half and paid for an additional 30 minutes because the rest of the family had not arrived yet. I will mention that my husband, son and I were the only customers in the entire venue. When my older son and his family arrived I went to the front to video my boys and this special moment. As I'm trying to record there's a Second Gentleman that's behind the counter and speaking so loudly to my older son and family that he absolutely ruined my video. All you can hear is him speaking at an ear piercing volume. Everyone with the exception of my daughter in law had closed toe shoes. My grandsons are 15 & 14. Nobody was going back to throw axes as we were done. I'm not really sure why the gentleman thought it was ok to be practically screeching when he clearly saw I was trying to record the "surprise" moment. Our family now has a video that's entirely unusable and I guess if I hadn't mentioned that this was a surprise many times I wouldn't be quite as upset. We will probably give them another shot on a regular day. All in all I'm unhappy that our surprise moment was utterly ruined. read more

Wow. My first VR escape room experience. It was intense! We did the pirate escape. It was pretty awesome. I will say I don't think my focus was the best with the goggles, but I was still able to have a good time. The people working there were certainly kind. read more

We went on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't crowded, though I can see why you'd want to make reservations. Staff were friendly and the VR experience was unique and very immersive. We didn't try the ax throwing but the video projector target system with multiple target options looked slick and people were enjoying it. read more

About 8-9 different axe throwing games! The target has a projector over it which is super cool. They had multiple types of Axes, ninja stars, etc. The staff was super friendly and helpful in explaining the variety of things offered at the facility. Would def recommend! read more

We went to Zero Latency in Southpark Meadows on a Thursday afternoon and had a Blast!! The VR experience was fun, and they have Ax Throwing, too. Zac explained everything to us and was very friendly. It wasn't crowded but I imagine on the weekends you might want to make a reservation. I highly recommend Zero Latency. Finally, a fun VR experience in South Austin. Try it out. read more
