DO NOT get scammed by any extra services offered by the tech! Insist on simply cleaning according to the bid! We inadvertently paid $2,245 for a small area to be cleaned that was estimated at only a few hundred. I was out of town and my daughter texted me that the tech said our carpet could NOT be clean unless it received a special treatment. He said it showed (under his special light) need of heavy duty cleaning to remove pet and possibly human residue. Nothing appeared to the naked eye at all. I had to click on several documents and approve it all on my cell phone BEFORE the work could be done. I couldn't see well what I was agreeing to as we were loading a trailer and I didn't have my glasses. The tech NEVER said to our daughter, "It will be $75 per squirt." He NEVER mentioned a $ amount. We used this company for years with excellent service but NO more! It is sad to be scammed by a company we thought we could trust and thought to be reputable. The fine print even says "unguaranteed" when describing the "special" treatment! And who ever pays the total for any service - and under pressure - before it is completed? I complained to the manager who consulted with the tech (who lied) and the owner. The best they could offer was a small credit for next time but there will never be a next time with this company. I fell for the ads and the special and had them do carpet and tile for $500. The dirty spots in the carpet and grout were still dirty afterward. I called them and they came back and redid everything for free. It was better but still dirty afterward. I cleaned the dirty spots in the carpet with my own carpet cleaner and got up lots more dirt. I also did the tile and grout by hand myself and got it clean. It was a waste of time and money. read more

I selected Zerorez because of a buy three, get one free offer. BIG MISTAKE! I had used One Spurce Carpet Cleaning before and had no problems with them. The cost to clean my 3 BR apartment was $150. The only rooms with carpet are the bedrooms. There was also an 8x10 and a 5x7 area rug in the great room. All were included with One Source. After I was quoted $137 fir the same job by Zerorez, the technician said that the area rugs were priced separately and the new cost was $220! I called the company and was basically told that, since I reserved online I may have been unaware that the price might change. My only option was to get less cleaned! Feels like a bait and switch scheme to me. I wanted to try Zerorez because the no "Rez" thing was appealing. Customer beware! You could end up spending a lot more than you planned. read more

Do Not Use This Company!!!! I fell for the advertising on KSL. They upcharged me $200 each for two rooms to add a spray that was supposed to eliminate stains and odors. It took them about 30-40 seconds to spray each room. They did not tell me the charge of the service until after I got the invoice and questioned it. $400 for 1:30 minute of spray on my carpet. Additionally, the tech said he would need to go over the carpet 2-3 times in order to get it cleaned. He cleaned the rooms once and when I questioned him about it he said, "Oh, I meant I would pass over the same area 2-3 times while I am cleaning." I asked him to go over it again, which he did. The carpets are cleaner than they were to start with, however, not as clean as when other companies have serviced my carpet, and the stain and odor spray I mentioned above, did not work. My carpets still show stains. I called the company and they said other than having the tech call me back (which he never did), there was nothing she could do about the cleanliness or the price. I will never use them again. The three room special was $99 dollars and I added two additional rooms in the basement at $40 dollars each. My total was almost $700.00. I can't imagine why KSL would advertise such a dishonest and terrible company. Please do your research and read reviews before you hire. read more

Tech showed up and immediately tried to bait and switch. Tried to upcharge an additional $300. Told us that it wouldn't even be worth getting the carpets cleaned if we don't also add the additional pet charges. The tech is either the most efficient human in the world or just did a real shiz job because he was in and out in less than 30 minutes. read more

Service tech shows up to do 3 room special and because there were some pet stains from a 2 lb chihuahua, dude tried up-sell my Wife an additional $200, to treat the pet stains. We refused to pay the extra and asked the tech to please just do the 3 room special. The lazy ass tech told my Wife that he wouldn't do the work we had hired him to do, stating that he "didn't want to get sick." Funny that doing the stain treatment for an extra $200 would have been ok, but when we decided not to pay for this ridiculously priced "service," he took his ball and went home. I Will NEVER recommend Zerorez, and will tell EVERYONE I know what a shady af joint they're runnin. read more

I do not recommend using Zerorez. If you need to change the date of your appointment, then they will erase your original cost and up the price of their services like they did to me. That is an arbitrary and unfair response to a former customer. Very cold & unfriendly customer relations. read more

Zerorez is always advertising on the radio and they always have a promotion. I have always ignored them until this time. The holidays were upon us and our carpets looked horrible. I called on the special: "3 areas for $69 - each area about 200 sqft" or something very similar. I had three areas with less than that square footage but one area had a small closet attached (6'x4') which is really the same area - no transition etc. William showed up and was very nice. I showed him everything and he asked, "Okay so just the three areas?" I said, "Yelp (actually yep), that's all." He proceeded to clean the there areas. He did a good job. I was planning to give him a tip - with it being the holidays and all. Then he said, "Okay so with everything that will be $109." I of course said, "It was three areas for $69." Long story short he lowered the bill to $99. If you're good with these types of tactics then I'd say give them a call. If you appreciate a straight up transaction like me - without the up-sells and the underhanded stuff then I'd say DON'T CALL ZEROREZ. I certainly won't be calling them again. BTW - He was at our home for about 45 mins (if that helps give your any indication whether my opinion is off or not). read more

Zerorez ruined our beautiful Iranian carpet. The salesman fed my wife a load of b.s. about the careful process they were going to use to ensure that the dye wouldn't run, how we were supposed to receive updates (with photos) on how the cleaning was going, etc, etc. After we hadn't heard squat after 3 weeks, my wife called them. It took them a while to even figure out what was happening with our rugs. When we finally got them back, the dye on one of them had run badly. They obviously took no care at all. I can't bear to look at the carpet now. It was beautiful and now it's ruined because someone didn't take care to determine whether the dye would run. The fringes are frayed, so it looks like they just put it into an industrial washing machine. read more

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!! They cleaned my parents carpets a few days ago and totally ripped them off!! The quote was $600 dollars for 3 rooms and a couple sets of stairs. By the time the tech finished it was 2,250 dollars!!! Total scam. My parents house is not dirty and they take care of their carpet!! For that price they could have recarpeted the whole house. My dad talked to somebody at zerorez and they said there must have been a lot of spots!!!! TOTAL RIPOFF AND SCAM!! They offered to give them a $100 gift card for carpet cleaning to make up for it. We had an absolutely horrible experience. We asked for the pet treatment on half of the house and they did it on everything (which was much more expensive!). They also left huge clumps of crap ALL over the house. It was in the rooms they cleaned and on the tile of the hallways as well. We called to ask about that and the over-charge and they brushed us off saying that's just how it is. I understand the need to vacuum the rooms after, to get anything that has worked it's way up, but having to clean the floors in the rest of the house too, because of the gross, wet junk that they tracked through is unacceptable. We sent them pictures and they still didn't care. I'd rather replace the carpets than have to deal with them again! read more
