After 10 + years since my last headshot, I needed an update for my website and other social media accounts. I was looking for a high quality, creative photographer near me (San Antonio and/or Austin). When I came upon Zesty Orange in Austin (Round Rock), it was everything I wanted: someone who had a nice portfolio of pictures to view, could advise me in the correct clothing to wear, provided posing directions, and also offered makeup and hair services. Olesya's communication before our session was great. She scheduled a pre-session meeting to go over what to expect and answered all my questions. Her email communication always kept me informed on other topics, and let me know my appointment was approaching. I saw she offered other services (Branding and Professional presentation) which was a nice combination with her being a photographer. On the day of the photo shoot, I had a wonderful makeup and hair session so I felt like a movie star (not overdone - just right). We had our daughter's smash the cake photoshoot done by Olesya and I can't recommend her enough! The entire experience was amazing from beginning to end. She made sure everything we envisioned happened and was helpful with the choosing of the color palette and outfits. The day of the photoshoot, her patience and big smile brought magic to the studio and our little baby shone brighter than what we ever expected. She has so many outfits to choose from, created all the set decor and provided the cake for smashing. The high quality of the prints and products are above what I imagined. I'm so happy I had my maternity & new born photos done by Olesya. Pregnancy is such a magical experience & these photos just perfectly captured that memory for me. Olesya was mindful of the Covid-19 situation & always wore a mask when we saw her. Hand sanitizer was available at the studio, as well. The studio was clean & the props/clothes were well organized. This made it easier for me going into the maternity session since I didn't know what I wanted. Olesya was extremely gentle with my baby & made me feel comfortable as she handled baby in the new born session. You can tell she's had a great deal of experience handling newborns. My husband and I invested in maternity and newborn photos for our first baby. Olesya is an absolute professional and perfectionist. My maternity photos included more intimate ones (can be scary for us mamas with changing bodies) and I felt completely comfortable and not judged by Olesya which resulted in stunning photos. Our newborn photos will last a lifetime and I cannot wait to show our kiddo when she's older. We also ordered wall art. I highly recommend doing that. The quality is top notch. We hired Zesty Orange Photography (Olesya Redina) in Oct 2021 to do our newborn photo shoot for our first baby and couldn't be happier with the high level, white glove service, her style of photography, and the outstanding quality of her products. We have never had professional photos taken before (not even for our wedding) and Olesya really went above and beyond to make this a very relaxing and enjoyable experience for us and our newborn son. Her studio is warm, and welcoming making it easy for parents to kick back and relax and enjoy a snack or coffee during the session. Her ability to keep newborns calm and relaxed during the session had us amazed! Our son slept the whole time! Our shoot included hair and makeup that Olesya organized which was a lifesaver for us being first time parents and looking horrendous beforehand. The quality of her work is out of this world. Our pictures are perfect! My only advice is to bring lots of tissues to your viewing appointment where she presents all the pictures she took for you. Olesya and her work are amazing. Just go ahead and book her. My husband and I had a newborn session scheduled and it got postponed due to Covid, she still made it work 7 weeks later! The pictures look great and yes, he is one of her bigger babies for such a session but she still accomplished all we were looking for. Our session was long, my baby is not the easiest to soothe, but Olesya was extremely patient. At one point I fell asleep just because she had such control of my baby and was doing her thing. Her attention to detail is great. My husband and I especially enjoyed being hands off and her taking control of the session, I didn't feel that we had to make a lot of decisions during the photo shoot itself. Now the viewing session was tough! So many amazing pictures to choose from!
