Though this place was not where we expected, we were so glad we went. The restaurant is part of the log cabin style inn across from a few log cabin cottages. We had pot stickers (gyoza), General TSO chicken, and lo mein Singapore style. The server was very friendly but didn't crowd or get creepy. All of our food exceeded our standards and had a little spicy kick when it was supposed to. (Interesting that the server felt the need to remind us it's a little spicy and then pointed out the chili pepper in the dish to say it's spicy. This is my second time visiting Mountain View WY and dined at this restaurant. The place is busy and might not look like much from the outside but the food is phenomenon. The service was fast and the one server was attentive. I had wonton noodle soup which came with fresh vegetables, chicken, and shrimp in addition to wonton and noodles. The soup was tasty. My friend had Kung Pao chicken and shrimp. It was very delicious and fresh. It came with a big portion of white rice. The table next to us had delicious looking sizzling plate. Excellent food from a Chinese/Thai menu. We live a few miles away in Lyman, WY, and eat here as often as we can. A real treat for us. We had great restaurants in California too. This is top-notch. We love the won-ton soup, the General's Chicken and Kung Pao triple are excellent. The interior atmosphere is good. Service has been good the dozen times we've eaten here too. We highly recommend Zheng Zhong to everyone we know. With Covid, they were shut down for a little period, but are up and running again. So glad! 5/5 stars! read more

We, a group of 8, were traveling through Wyoming on our way back to California from Mt. Rushmore and 8pm hit and wanted something to eat before it got too late and everything was closed. Opened up yelp to see if there was anything available within 10 miles of us, and this restaurant came up. We were tired of diners and truckstop food so we took a leap of faith and stopped here. It is one of the better Chinese restaurants we've been to, and we've been to a lot. The quality is amazing. Still can't believe this restaurant is basically in the middle of nowhere. This small town chinese restaurant has a special feel. Sometimes the food can be greasy but I will point out my two favorite items. Pork Lo-mein no bean sprouts along with the sweet and sour chicken or pork. My family goes to this restaurant a few times a year on special occasions. Absolutely incredible! Just took my #1 spot for Asian restaurants. I've been searching high and low for a respectable hot and sour soup since my all time favorite closed. I found it here at Zheng Zhong. Best ever. Then the General's Chicken and Kung Pao Triple arrived. Best ever. Even the egg roll blew my mind. Highly recommend the detour if your cruising by on 80. Well, the servers are very nice. I realized once I was seated at my banquet table in banquet chairs, HMM, I think they must be a restaurant for a hotel? You see there are small cabins to rent next to this large lodge. No landscaping, dead plants hanging around potential porch. Everyone raves about this place in town. I guess if I am going to spend my money, I want to enjoy what I spend it on. Soup was good. Noodles hard, and chewy. Fried rice tasted old and stale. Plates are plastic and your served soda and water in extra large plastic coke cups. The Basil in my meal was not fresh, it looked kind of like spinach that had been over cooked? I am left so confused. Oh, lets not forget the exact same red booths that every other restaurant in this area uses. I will not be back, but is a favorite of the locals. Like I said in the beginning, they were very nice, awesome service. I just expected more, or maybe different than any other diner in the area. Nope. Same Banquet chairs and red booths as the next guy. Food, was not consistent. Soup is the only thing I would suggest. OH! I just don't think a Chinese restaurant in Fort Ridger works... I cannot imagine the impossibility of getting good ingredients in this area. The meat, so chewy. Vegetables, preserved. We ate here on a hunting trip from California, where there is a Chinese restaurant in every town, and the food here is excellent. The food is mediocre it could be a lot better! The wait time is definitely on the lengthy side. I never have problems with ordering it seemed extremely difficult to order anything without confusion. I ordered food for just two people in advance ended up getting enough food for eight people and I got charged $61 regardless I felt inclined to buy it and didn't want to be rude and bought all the food but that's in me. Anyway they make it extremely difficult to order anything! Would recommend just getting a burrito from the maverick across the street instead. read more

We've eaten here a few times now and we love it. They used to have a branch over in Kemmerer however, it has closed. Now we drive the 45 minutes about once a month for it! My husband and I are pretty well traveled, especially around the USA and both of us have lived in large cities and metropolis areas. (Chinese and Thai food are at your every turn.) Servings were good size unless you've ridden there on a bicycle then you have no trouble finishing them. Size of serving is good to share. The waiter was unable to explain the Family Style add on option, so we gave up. The Honey Pork was not very good, but the Curry Chicken and Shrimp was most tasty.
