Conveniently located next to the animal shelter where you can take your dog on a wok. Delicious!

Tried the food, but hard to enjoy knowing Green River still operates a gas chamber for shelter animals. While this restaurant brings flavors from the past, the city is stuck in a much darker history. Maybe it's time for Green River to take that off the menu. read more

Being Asian, I can rate this place with confidence as to the quality and flavor of the Chinese food: it passes with flying color. So it's a delight to find a place like this passing through a (seemingly) nowhere-land. Moreover, the 'homey-ness', incongruity, and local-ness of the place. It feels like a place where uts community gathers. Posters of the local high school football, dance, small cub, and basketball teams adorn its wall. We are just strangers passing by, but Christine the waiter seems to know other arriving guests by name. And she is a great, friendly waitress. Grateful to have a late lunch here today! read more

Good food. The only down side is you do have to give them 30 to 40 minutes on a order to go. But I think its worth it.

This Chinese and American sports bar and restaurant has something for everybody. The soups are good and come in various sizes. We had Won Ton and Hot and Sour Soup. The menu contains a good variety of Chinese and American favorites. I believe they usually have a daily special - Today's was a steak with all the trimmings for $10.75. What a great little place. Super friendly people, great service in a family friendly atmosphere. Make sure you get the egg drop soup. Wow, is all I can say! They put rice in it, and it's amazing! Excellent place in Green River. People friendly, food good! The menu is also quite extensive with lots of the usual American Chinese fare. I had the cashew chicken and the cashews were fresh (sometimes you get soggy cashews at Chinese restaurants but this was good. House salad was a little plain but also fresh. As a regular here I have to say, I LOVE the consistency of the food! It's flavor, spice level and freshness are superb and they are the same no matter when you come. The restaurant is family owned and largely family staffed and you can tell that they all care about the customers, the Town and their business. I was just passing through this small town and wasn't feeling fast food so I went with the Chinese place. First of all, I realize there is no reason for high expectations when eating at a small Chinese restaurant in a small town. All in all it was ok. Service was poor. There was only myself and one other table and the server checked the other table about 3-4 times before it would check with me again. I ordered their version of General Tso's they call it "Chang's Spicy Chicken" the closest comparison I can make was that it tasted like the little weenies that are cooked in bbq sauce. It came with a cup of soup. I chose the egg drop soup which tasted like chicken noodle soup. All in all still probably a better option than fast food. read more

I sat for around 10 mins before being noticed, but the were apologetic and quickly had my drink and order. I had the pork noodles, which weren't bad, and hot, but seemed not like your traditional Chinese noodles, more like spaghetti noodles, but decent nonetheless. They do have a full bar, and 2 pool tables, if your into the whole brevity thing , the folk were friendly and the food was decent, I will come back again for another go-round. Luv ya bye. read more

I lived in Green River 5 1/2 years without patronizing this nice local establishment. I couldn't believe it. But we have been there three times since. The service is gracious and friendly, and they remember us every time. I have the I-80 cocktail, I don't know why, but it's just delicious. The pot stickers are amazing, tender yet crisp and so flavorful, the egg rolls are crisp and delicious. I have had the beef and vegetables, and the sesame chicken, all nice twists on Chinese favorites. This is a great local Asian joint that we will continue to go to (instead of to Rock Springs, which scares us!). read more

Service was horrible---waited ten minutes for a drink. The food was not what we were expecting from traditional Chinese American food. I ordered chicken with broccoli which was chicken with mixed veggies and not the traditional brown sauce you get. The fried rice had ham chunks in it? Was like nothing I ever tasted before. I live in Chicago, if I want Chinese food I go to Chinatown so my standards are pretty high. China Garden is very good, the chicken curry I ordered comes with egg drop soup, I asked if they had hot and sour soup. The waitress said she would ask if the kitchen would make it for me. I expected to be given egg drop soup and was pleasantly surprised to be given a very tasty hot and sour soup. I love hot and sour soup. The curried chicken was also a pleasant surprise, fresh ingredients and just the right amount of zing. My husband very much enjoyed his Cantonese egg foo young. read more

I eat at this restaurant about once every three weeks, and it is always consistent. My favorite dish is the Mongolian beef. The service is good. I have eaten at every Asian restaurant in this side of the state. This is the best Chinese restaurant in Sweatwater County. read more
