This easy to climb, well-lit staircase replaced a huge, decaying wood staircase that blocked two windows and was poorly lit. Not only is the staircase exactly right to give us more garden space, but the "boing" of walking daily up and down the stair steps (which have holes to prevent icy spots) has improved my bad knee.
