He pointed out the cracked beam which I could see and recommended replacing the door. He quoted me $1500 plus tax and I agreed. We made an appointment for 8:30 am on Wednesday. Rudy came on time and had the door installed by noon. He said he's been doing this for 30 years. He was easy to work with and did excellent work. Everything he said he would do he did at the time he promised. I was very impressed with him.

Because of that history, we trusted them with restucco work and a roof resurfacing project. After they restuccoed our home, a crack appeared. They came back to repair it, but within a week the crack returned. Since then, we have been trying to get them to come back and properly address the issue, with no resolution. It has now been about a year since we paid to have our roof resurfaced. We have a signed contract and invoice showing payment for the resurfacing work. However, Albert is now denying that his company performed the roof resurfacing -- despite his signature being on the receipt. We have provided documentation, yet we are still not receiving follow-up or inspection of the roof to ensure there are no leaks. A proper power wash was also part of the agreement and has not been addressed. Repeated calls and texts have gone unanswered. As repeat customers who referred others, this has been extremely disappointing. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company. If you are considering hiring them, proceed with caution and ensure all work and follow-up commitments are honored.

We went to Stone Masters looking for a new countertop for our bathroom. After talking with Eve, we…read moredecided on a white quartz for the top and backsplash. As we had purchased bowls to go on the countertop, we asked about having the holes cut by the installers for the drains and faucets which she indicated could be done. We opted to have their staff remove and dispose of the old countertop which had built in sinks. They removed the old top with only one very small spot to touch up as the new backsplash was going to be 2" taller than the existing one. They then created a template for the top and took it back so the new top could be cut to fit. When the top was ready, they called and arranged a date and time to do the install and cut the holes for the drains and faucets. The top fit snugly into place. We showed them where we wanted the bowls and faucets. They marked the spots and cut the holes. During the cutting they had a shop vac that caught almost all of the dust from the cuts. The back splash was cut outside and brought inside to be glued in place. The end product looks great. We arranged the connection of the bowls/faucets separately. A professional job from start to finish by Stone Masters.

We purchased a house in Las Cruces from out of state. During the inspection the inspector said that…read morethere were issues with the drains on the flat roof. So the previous owner had A Mountain Roofing come out to do maintenance / repairs and the repairs that were supposed to be guaranteed! I can only imagine what the previous owner paid for said work. We had a leak so we contacted A Mountain Roofing. Name withheld came out to inspect their work / the drain and roof. He said that the pipe in the roof was cracked! Then proceeded to tell me that the roof needed OVER $20k in maintenance / repairs! The same person also told me that to fix the leak would be over $1,100.00 to repair and another $400.00 for drywall. We called another company and they came out then pulled the cover and inspected the drain. They asked to use the garden hose to run water in the drain just past where the roof meets the drain. They ran water for approximately 10 minutes with no leaking. And said that they would send a crew out to re-coat the inlet to the drain. Then that night we got rain and NO LEAKS. I then contacted the A Mountain employee and said that he was wrong and the issue was the coating around the inlet of the drain. He then accuse me of lying to him. Why would I lie to him? I just wanted the leak / drain fixed The company that fixed the leak charged $250.00 and asked if I knew the paint code or color so they could texture and paint. I told them I have paint and needed to do some touching up I will take care of that. Remember the quote from A Mountain of OVER $1,500.00 and that didn't include painting where the leak caused the paint to fall off. My worthless .02 cents is go ANYWHERE but A Mountain Roofing for roofing‼ The A Mountain employee was a smooth talker and a SALESMAN and could have cared less about the situation that should have been his responsibility! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

To his credit, Billy showed up on time on day one, but that's about the only thing he did right. He hired a 19 year old kid to do the cutting, and according to the kid, Billy offered to pay him $250 to do the job, which is a criminally low amount of money. Shortly after the work started, Billy asked me for a $250 advance to hire somebody to haul away the branches, which I paid. He then asked me for another $250 advance to make a deposit on a dumpster to haul away the branches, which I paid. He also asked me for another $250 advance for something else, which I paid. Unfortunately, I never saw the person he hired to haul away the branches or the dumpster. Then, the 19 year old told me that he was going to quit cutting down the trees because Billy only paid him $50, and said that he was only going to pay him $50 more. Since the kid, and not Billy, who showed up every morning to smoke a cigarette in my backyard and disappear, was the one doing all the work, I paid the kid to finish the job, which he did. When I asked Billy for a partial refund for not finishing the job that I fully paid him to do, he ignored me, and to add insult to injury, he left a broken down trailer in front of my house with tree branches on it. I've asked him several times to remove it, but he won't. I finally had to contact the Las Cruces Codes Department to tow it away. This guy might be the worst hire that I've ever made. He talks a good game, but don't be fooled. There's plenty of good contractors out there, do not hire this one.
