Rodrigo and Angel took good care of us. We were a group of 6 visiting for the weekend. We had multiple dishes among them rollitos de pescado and the short rib tacos, we had different fish dishes same as the lamb chops with a great mint sauce. The desserts you have to try them. Great upscale Thai/Mexican fusion restaurant. Fantastic views, especially at dusk. Food was good to great (skewers and desserts great, Pad Thai ok). Smaller wine list and staff were not that familiar. Speaking of staff--lots were available providing attentive service. Many spoke enough English that we didn't have any issues. read more

If you want a place with an amazing view, romantic vibe, excellent service, tasty drinks and delicious food, this is your place! We actually have went three times now within three weeks. I highly suggest the ribeye tacos for a starter. For the main course, if you love lobster, get it! Best lobster anywhere! I did also have the salmon curry and shrimp and sun, I think it's called, both very good as well. The dishes come with rice served in this banana boat, and it is so dang good. Bread Rolls & Crackers - These free sit down bread rolls & crackers were super delicious, they came in three different types, 1) Bread Sticks 2) Croissant Rolls and 3) Cheese Stuffed Sesame Rolls. Delicious. Octopus (Pulpo) Carpaccio - Sliced Octopus with Toasted Green Citrus Apples and Coriander. Great experience eating under this Nature ambience; waterfall on one side and view of the sea on the other (although one has to imagine the sea since it was dark at night; couldn't see the island that was there). Beautiful glow around the dining area with trees scattered around. I ordered the rib eye (supposedly from U.S.) medium rare. It tasted good (had that grilled flavor ) but was a bit chewy tough ( mostly likely USDA Select or lower grade); thus minus one star; ought to have USDA Prime for such a classy restaurant charging fairly high price. The pasta Thai fusion dish was a bit dry but came with a flavorfull spicy sauce. Would go back to try the lamb rack supposedly from New Zealand. Service was excellent. read more

This place is super nice!! It's a pricey little spot, but lovely to hit in Acapulco. 6 of us took a taxi over to the restaurant. It's up on a hill and the view is absolutely gorgeous. We went at night, but I bet the view would be better in the daytime. They keep the place pretty dimly lit, so it's perfect for date night, or great for a group as well. They played jazz music... But it was jazz versions of pop songs!! We took turns trying to figure out which songs they were - Notable songs by Lady Gaga and Beyonce were played. The appetizers at the place are rather small - We got little spring rolls and Thai chicken skewers. While delicious, the portions were small. Onto dinner! The portions of dinner were actually quite large and filling. The seafood dishes were delicious! We also got wine and some margaritas as well. The desserts were also quite good. We got a chocolate souffle that was very good! They told us a little bit in advance so that we could order and get it quickly. They legit cooked it to order because when we got it, it was SUPER hot!!! The type of food this place serves is what I would call "fusion" - It was a nice break from all the Mexican food and a beautiful atmosphere to boot. read more

They make the experience here special. We travel a lot to different areas and I can say that the food experience here is second to none. The cocktails were well crafted and made with fresh jucies, the seafood was by far the best we had in Acapulco, and the service matched with the atmosphere made for a wonderful evening! The view was great, the food was mediocre at best. This is the first time I've felt the need to write a negative review of a restaurant. Wait staff was nice, but we had to ask for drinks and menus multiple times. The restaurant is quaint. We loved it. There's a great view from the observatory deck as you arrive that is just above the restaurant. Every view and the ambiance within the restaurant is spectacular as well. We had the goat cheese salad, chilled cucumber soup, fish in a banana leaf and the Kari Gai. All of it, fantastic!!!! Would couldn't stop saying yum as we ate. In fact we wanted to eat the jimcama bowl that the soup came, so our server obliged and cut it up for us with lime and a chili power on the side. As a tourist here in Acapulco, I immediately felt quite welcomed. The restaurant's setting was spectacular, it included a view of the beautiful ocean. The service was hospitable, and the food met the the restaurant's quality as well. The steak I ordered was delicious along with the chicken and shrimp skewers which were mouth watering. As an appetizer, the chicken and shrimp skewers were served with mashed potatoes and an array of decorative assortments to include a cup that was filled with a controlled flame. Had a fabulous meal at Zibu overlooking the harbor at sunset. The restaurant was a jewel in Acapulco on the lines of the nicest places in the States and the staff were outstanding. Our party had four appetizers, four entrees and four deserts and all of them were perfect. I will definitely come back and would overwhelmingly recommend Zibu. read more
