Do not go here at all! The manager Pete Luedke is a liar, and a scam artist. They should take down the Ziebart sign too, because they are not backed by corporate. Nothing about this facility is legitimate.
Here is my account of what happened. If you do decided to go here, make sure they give you a print out of the cost of exactly what they are doing, because all he had me sign was a paper that said they could bring in my car, (liability paper).
I called on Fri the 18th to set up an appointment. I spoke with a gentleman and he said that, there were two service we offered. The rust proofing which was $119, the undercoat was $400,and the full package that included the rust proofing and overcoat, for $549. I told him, I would do the full package. I dropped off my car on 9-22-15 at 8:30 a.m. I emphasized that this car was going to be a show car, and that everything needed to be perfect. I was reassured by a gentleman, Pete Luedke, and he said it would be. I told Pete Luedke that, if it takes longer than a day and a half, that his shop could take all the time they need to make sure it was done right. He told me the cost would be about $549 dollars for the job. That's the complete package. Later that same day around, 5 p.m. I called and just touched base with how my car was doing, and to see if they could again pay really close attention to how they do this. They said, that the first protective coat is drying and it won't be done till tomorrow. I inquired a little bit more, and asked if they could put plastic sheeting over the wheels, to protect from overspray on the brakes or wheels. They said they didn't remove the wheels, and that they use special "wands" to prevent overspray from happening. He told me, "that it would be good, and we will take special care". At 3:03 P.M. on 9-23-15 I received a call that my car was done. I was currently at work, so I paid over the phone with my credit card. At 4:30 I went to pick it up on my lunch, since I couldn't get a ride anymore after work to pick it up. I arrived there, only to find out, they were still spraying my car, and "touching it up". Why would you tell me the car was done if it wasn't? I looked over the bill, and it was $200 over what he quoted me. I asked about it, and he said that is the cost. I didn't agree to $722 bill. i said I will inspect the car when I get back to my shop and let you know. I'll just wait here about a half hour. He commented "it won't even be that long!" I waited outside with my friend for another 20 minutes, till finally it was brought out to me. I left around 4:50 p.m. I had another ten minutes to get back to work, so I grabbed the paperwork, and left. When i returned to work, I racked up my car, and noticed all these scratches and dents, that were not there before. I immediately took pictures and called the shop, and I believe Tracie answered. I explained my concerns to tracie about the poor job and she told me that the manager was not in, and wouldn't be till tomorrow. I called everyday for the next few days, and it literally took Pete Luedke 8 days to get back to me. I immediately emailed Ziebart corporate office, and told her about my experience. She explained to me that she would get a hold of Pete Luedke's boss and she would get back to me, or the store manager would get back to me. Now a couple weeks have gone by and still nothing. I have been emailing corporate every few days and they still haven't been responding. Their corporate office needs almost as much work as their shop. So I finally get a hold of corporate again, and they said Pete Luedke boss is still out, and will get back to me as soon as possible. In the meantime, Pete Luedke emails me a very nasty email, placing all the blame on me. Do not go here, at all. Corporate ended up telling me there was nothing they could do since this place is not owned by Ziebart, and that whatever the store manager says is final. Needless to say I was furious, and this place needs to be shut down. Take your business elsewhere, so what happened to me, doesn't happen to you. This place is a joke! read more
