Both of the lattes were strong without being bitter, and delightfully smooth. The toasts, however, were the stars of the show. Toasted to perfection, with a generous amount of toppings and drizzles of balsamic and honey for mine and hot honey for my husband's. For only $10 each too, what a good price point. I also got me one of the baklavas which I saw where all the baked goods are. The tray full of baklavas was on top of the showcase with a lid on it. Looked nicely brown and flaky. Would be a nice mid-morning snack to eat along with my doppio. The guy was efficient. After I placed my order, it was a matter of a minute or two before he handed me the two items. I was the only customer (like I said) but he was super fast. The charge was about $10 for both items. Upon glancing at the electronic receipt, I realized that the baklavas are $7. A bit pricey I thought but they are a good size. Not bad... At home, I enjoyed both of them after my breakfast. I added some almond milk and half and half in my doppio which tasted nice and bitter (for this reason, people think that I drink like the Italians; they do like strong espresso.) The baklava was so filling. The flaky layers stack on top of each other were perfected. The sweetness was just right. For this size/portion, I guess $7 makes sense; the money worth spent for.

Lots of comfortable seating with outlets. Plenty of people coming in and out with backpacks or laptop bags slung over their shoulders gives the place a chill coworking energy. On both of my visits the baristas have been warm and friendly. I do have to knock down a mark because so far the drinks I've gotten have been just okay. I started with a regular matcha latte which was pleasant but a bit gritty and unremarkable. The second time I tried the ube matcha but sadly the ube didn't really come through and it mostly tasted like the plain matcha I'd had previously. Seems like maybe the coffee drinks are the way to go so I'll have to keep exploring the menu to find my favorites. I will definitely be back here when I'm sick of staring at my laptop inside my apartment and want to stare at my laptop somewhere else instead.
