I love how they are actively creating opportunities for people to get together by scheduling bingo days, story times, live music, etc. This coffee shop doesn't just put out lovely drinks and service, but it is mentoring young people, helping them to step into adulthood with confidence. Stumbled upon Reunion Coffee House as I needed a place to hang out for a while that was near the airport. I'm a bit lucky that the week I visit Denver, the weather was in the 70s. Reunion Coffee House has an amazing outdoor patio overlooking a small lake. It was a cool enough spot that I came here twice to just chill and chat with friends. I got a Chai Latte the first time and a Hot Chocolate the second time. They were both very tasty but definitely on the sweet side. I'm going to ask if they can make it less sweet for me on the next visit (more milk?). Can't speak for the pastries as I didn't try any - but it looked like pretty normal fare. This place was the best greeting after landing in Denver! Set on the edge of a cute pond overlooking mountains in the distance and with specialty coffees that change monthly I LOVED their Golden Glow latte for St. Patty's Day! There's a play area on that porch for the kiddos, as well as seating for adults to relax and enjoy their coffee and maybe the company of friends. I ordered a Golden Nuggets Champions Chai. When I tasted it, it was overly sweet. I asked the worker if I could just add a bit of coffee from the coffee urn and he okayed it. I added the coffee and basically made a dirty chai. This cute little coffee house sitting on a lake is a hidden gem! Tucked away in a neighborhood, its just a 10 minute drive from the airport! I stopped in to kill some time while waiting for a friend's flight to land and it was perfect. I had an iced latte and sat outside with the beautiful view of the lake. The coffee was delicious and they good wifi so this would also be a great spot to work from. After having your coffee, I would reccommend walking around the lake, if its a nice day! The only downside is that they don't really have food, which I wish I realized before I went there to kill time when I was hungry. They do have a couple pre-packaged snacks for purchase but that's it. They have a small parking lot, but if thats full you can park on the street not too far away at all. read more

After picking up our rental car, we looked up the closest coffee shop and there were a few options. Saw this place had good Yelp reviews, so we chose this one. Just had another great experience at this cute little coffee shop. I just love the area it's in and the ambiance of the shop itself. I tried the Caramel Macchiato today and one of the Santiago breakfast burritos. The drink had a bold coffee flavor and just the right amount of caramel and vanilla flavors. The breakfast burrito was small but it was packed with flavor and had just the right amount of green chile kick. Can't wait to stop by again the next time I'm in the area. They have tons of space for meetings, plugging in and working, friend coffee dates, etc. There's indoor and outdoor seating with gorgeous views of a frozen over pond, rolling hills and snow covered mountains in the distance. There's tons of room for kids to play outside and a park right across the way. Very family friendly environment. I came to plug in and work one afternoon and was pleasantly surprised at how kind the staff were + how many outlet options they had. If it was a little warmer I would have sat on the patio and soaked in that incredible view. When you walk in the door theres a little shop with select goods, pastries, minimal breakfast options and to-go snacks. There's a private meeting room on the right (I assume available by reservation), and the ordering counter on the left. They have all coffee and tea options you can imagine, and many different snack variations. I got the iced oat milk latte which was the perfect size and very enjoyable. I also ordered the ham and cheese stuffed croissant on an everything roll which was delicious and packed with flavor but definitely super bad for you and you know it as you're eating it. Everything was well priced and the staff were kind enough to bring around samples of the holiday drinks for us all to taste. This place has really good energy to it and I'd recommend to anyone in the area. I think it's a breath of fresh air away from the city with reasonable pricing, tons of seating and unbeatable views.
