The ambiance was delightful! With an awesome beach access! The food was yummy and the drinks hit the spot on a hot day! Our host was very attentive and suggested great menu items :D

Ziggy Beach Club & Restaurant was fantastic for both breakfast and dinner. It is associated with the Cabanas Tulum Beach Hotel and Spa and located 100 feet or so away. It is located on the beach with beautiful views. When staying at the hotel, our breakfast was included. The breakfast was complete with several included options. Each item we ordered was perfect, and we loved the included juices. The service was impeccable. For dinner, on two separate occasions, we tried the steak, lobster, and whole fish. Each of these items were cooked perfectly, and again the service was impeccable. Our servers included ELDER for breakfast and ARTURO and NICHOLAS for the dinners. Even the dinner supervisor, CARRILLO, checked on us to make sure all was great. Ziggy Beach Club & Restaurant is highly recommended for great food, service, and ambiance.

$75usd minimum spend. Caesar salad, guacamole and fish tacos.

Vibes are impeccable. We had a lounger under the shade and ordered a bunch of snacks and drinks during our afternoon on the beach. The food was delicious and the service was prompt. There's a pool table near the entrance of the club and it made for a very memorable hang in Tulum.

Great service! We ate there over and over and over. Definitely one of our favorite places while staying in Tulum for 10 days.

The beach front area. We came during sargasso season so it was calm and empty. Kinda nice actually.

Amazing! The food is undeniably good. The service is top notch! And then there is the beautiful beach. El Hondureño was our server, he was great. I bet this place is crazy in the winter. We will have to come back.

Nice beach access and cute place. Good enough service. However, we stopped there for drinks for happy hour and it was buy one get one of a few selected cocktails. It was about $200-$300 per drink so not that great of a deal even after the deal. But the main reason why this is getting low review is because the drinks were REALLY not good. I'm really not a picky person, and alcohol is alcohol, but these were exceptionally bad. Maybe it was just the ones we ordered, or the bartender of the day-- but they were in drinkable in my opinion. I would not recommend unfortunately. Would be good for tanning and lounging

Ziggy Beach Club is a good beach club for families. It was on the calmer side and there were kids. It wasn't crowded at all which is nice if you don't want the loud party beach club vibes. It took a while for our server to come introduce himself and ask about drinks. I had the chicken sandwich which was very tasty. My husband had the pork tacos and did not like it at all. The ocean views were nice as you are right on the beach. I would go back again for the relaxation vibes.

Highly enjoyed just about everything this spot had to offer. Food wise, the sopes were most memorable. Also a great place to dance or to just lounge with an incredible view of the ocean. 5 stars.

Beautiful restaurant with beach views and live mariachi - we walked in around 7pm and were able to get a great seat outside. Service was great - our waiter Brandon gave us recommendations and explained each dish as it came out. The food was amazing - we got the pork tacos, shrimp sopes, and al pastor dumplings. Everything was amazing but the pork tacos were the best!! We also got the octupus which was amazing with a nice smoky flavor. P.S one downside was that once the sun went down the mosquitos started killing us but the waiter got us repellant which was able to help a ton!

Loved everything about this place. We ordered the longanizza sausage with eggs and beans. It had a smoky flavor and was accompanied by tortillas. The eggs rancheros were just fantastic - I barely stopped to breathe...lol. The flavor was amazing. The complimentary bread with cardamom butter and pineapple preserve was a nice touch. The green juice was fresh. The service was timely and friendly. The ambience is just right you are looking at the ocean and you hear the waves. We will be back.

I went back to Ziggy's after first visiting about seven years ago. The beach club is still in the same location, though it has undergone some renovations. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, around 5 pm, and the place was nearly empty, with only about three occupied tables. We were seated in the inside zone immediately, even though we preferred to sit outside. It took the server about ten to fifteen minutes to come to our table to take our order. We had mini sopes and pork belly tacos. While the food was good, the menu wasn't very extensive; I wish they had more taco options. I'm not sure if I would return to the beach club on future visits to Tulum.

Wow!! Ziggys was a perfect stop when in Tulum. We found Ziggys by word of mouth threw a local we met. As soon as you walk in you have a bunch of greenery, then you are greeted by the friendly host, who then takes you to your table of choice. They had great jams playing all around the restaurant. The food was so delicious. I started off with the tuna tartare, it was a tower of tuna tartare mixed with mango on a bed of a small amount of guacamole and topped of with sliced avocado and greens. So yummy. After I ordered their garlic prawns. Oh my you gotta try these. The prawns were very tasty, they served it with a salad glazed with their light house dressing. So delicious. I asked for a side of sauces to kick up my tastebuds. They have a habanero lime on that's really good if you like spice. Over all an amazing spot. Definitely recommend Ziggys if your hanging out in the beaches of Tulum

Ziggy's was a restaurant connected to our hotel in Tulum and we ate breakfast here most mornings. Service was great at every meal. Loved the beach/ocean view. I'm missing it already.

We did make a reservation, although the space was surprisingly empty at 7pm. We do know we came as the season is winding down, but for how good this food is, this place should always be packed. Our waitress was delightful - attentive, helped to explain every dish and the dishes all came out quickly but nothing felt rushed. The vibe is very jungle chic with open air seating, slightly covered by large leaf structures. Lots of candles and mood lighting. The menu offered quite the diverse selection of food options with a focus on traditional but elevated Mexican flavors. We started with some signature cocktails - my husband the mustachio whiskey drink and I had the wildfire. Both were perfectly mixed with great flavors. I will note the wildfire was more tart than spiced and did come with a fun flame element (sadly no pic). Also of note, the passionfruit that is used in this drink is a local fruit that is far more tart than other passionfruit you may have experienced. If you like a tart refreshing drink, this is your pick. We shared many dishes - the first was the pork rind with street corn dip. WOW. The pork rind seasoning was absolutely delicious and the serving size of street corn was epic. So rich, so delicious. We also shared the fried avocado - truly, the local avocados are heaven sent and the pumpkin seed purée was perfectly developed and spiced. Next up, larger dishes included the corn ravioli - this was so rich, and swimming in delicious truffle flavor. The raviolis were huge and there were 6 of them. The foam and nest elements while very pretty were also equally delicious. Not something that I often say when it comes to foam on plates. Finally, we had the shrimp main - I cannot put into words how amazing this dish was. The sauce was spicy, garlicky, and clearly developed over many hours. You could taste the time put into this. The shrimp were so tender the heads and tails just fell off. It comes with a side of bread and you will want to soak up every drop of this sauce with the toasted bread. If you are looking for elevated local flavors that have been carefully and meticulously curated then you must have a meal at WILD.

The space was gorgeous... like rustic, jungle chic. It seemed a little out of place on the main strip (it looked very different than most of the other places), but that's what drew us in. They had a menu of inventive cocktails that featured local ingredients (guanabana, mango, coconut milk) and lots of different types of mezcal. The drinks were delicious and the music and atmosphere was awesome. It felt like a Brooklyn bar transplanted into Mexico (sorry if I sound like a snobby New Yorker :-)). There were only 2 other people in the bar, the bartender, Ulysses, and the owner (I think), Jonathan. They were 2 super friendly young guys. They gave us a brief history of Mezcal and told us all about the different local ingredients they used. I think this place only opened a few months ago. It seemed like business may be a bit slow, but we drove by late at night a few days later and it was pretty crowded. The crowd was all tourists, European expats, etc... no locals... I didn't even see any locals working there. I loved the bar, but I love supporting locals, so I feel a little odd giving such a colonized place 5 stars, so solid 4 stars from me. If you're looking for a cool a cool bar to have a tasty cocktail, definitely check it out.

Up on the rooftop, the setting was whimsical, naturey, romantic. It was great to sit on cushiony seats under dim lighting with lots of greens hanging above and on the walls. The street view below was, well, of the street. For a weekend night, it was desolate and for awhile, we had the whole roof to ourselves (minus the two servers with nothing to do). For my one drink, I selected a mojito swoon (ginger, lime). It was pretty much a very refreshing lemonade with only a slight hint of alcohol - but that's the theme in most cocktails I had in Tulum. Our poor waitress came by several times to check in on us out of boredom, which was nice, but also weird at the same time given it was clear the place was dead, so it seemed like she was coming to our table too often.
