When we arrived the place was not too busy, and when we left it was very busy. This made for poor service, because the waitress was the ONLY person working the entire place it seemed. I did not punish her for this, because it was not her fault, and she was nice. But honestly, we waited forever just to get a menu, then again for longer than necessary to get the order taken. A reasonably short time to get the food, but then again for the bill and then to pay. This was an hour and a half almost lunch experience. Is this normal in Canada? Maybe No body is in a hurry up here. Anyways. The point is, this steak sandwich was on point. It was on a delicious ciabatta roll, the steak was ordered medium and I got exactly what I wanted, cut in thick slices, laid out with grilled onion. I could eat only this sandwich from here on out. Good job to the chef here. Owner/manager might consider bringing in an extra server to help out on a Sunday afternoon.
