the aperol spritz was only 3.50 on happy hour but the pizza tasted like it was a frozen one from the grocery store that they through in the oven and charged 7.50 for. the outdoor seating is nice but there is a lot of cigarette smoking and the tables are pretty close together. also there is a table charge, 7.50 for three people. not worth going here unless you just want a cheapish aperol spritz that still tastes good and even then with the table charge considered the aperol spritz isn't even that cheap. read more

Horrible and disgusting. Family was exhausted, stopped for drinks only. Waiter was super friendly. The worst drinks we have ever had. None of the cocktails were drinkable. Watched the bartender make a drink, he sneezed a couple times, drooled, wipe mouth with hand, then put ice into the cup with same hand and added no alcohol. After eating French food in Paris and pastas/pizzas in Venice for the whole week, my family needs some Asian food. We walked by this restaurant and found it interesting that there is an AYCE restaurant in Venice and it's Italian/Japanese/Chinese. I was very skeptical at first but decided to ask about pricing and how the AYCE works. The very nice waiter showed me the menu and said we can order anything off the menu. The menu looks decent and the restaurant decor looks nice and contemporary so we decided to give it a try. The food is prepared and cooked to order so everything was hot and fresh! This is not a typical buffet where you get your own food. Everything is amazing. I definitely recommend this restaurant for the AYCE menu for dinner. read more

Not much Italian in a Italian/Japanese/Chinese buffet. More like a taste of everything although mostly Chinese and sushi. The price is good for the area however I was not thrilled that multiple waiters told me I could not 'just leave the rice' from the nigiri (referring to the same plate). I wanted salmon sashimi and apparently you'll get scolded to finish the rice. I'm not purposely wasting food (and did not waste anything else I got) but how I eat my sushi is my business. read more

Absolutely an awesome Asian experience in Italy! We came to Venice as the last stop in our honeymoon and after 10 nights of pasta i think we had enough! This was the perfect alternative to pasta and honestly such a pleasant surprise! The all you can eat sushi menu gives you sooo many choices and food was delicious and came out quickly. The staff was super nice and attentive too. I wasn't very impressed with the Italian food in Venice so this was an awesome alternative that was enjoyable all around. Must try! read more

If you're Asian, looking for that Asian grub, this is the place to be on this side of the world. A buffet that has a good seafood assortment that includes a fresh sushi-sashimi bar (great salmon and tuna), crabs and prawns. Everything prepared and cooked Chinese-Japanese style. The only bad side is that children 3 and above pays full price of 23.90 Euro. Also good to consider their lunch buffet priced at 13.90, just don't know if the selection is the same. I rarely write reviews on Yelp because I am too lazy. But when I do, it usually means that the restaurant is either very good or really bad. In this case, I have to say that I am so glad that i decided to come to this restaurant. I have been in europe for about 3 weeks now and I must say this is the best meal I have ever had so far. My asian stomach was satisfied for the first time ever since I came to europe. I am from Toronto where you can find all you can eat sushi places all around the city, and this one beats most of them. The food variety is relatively limited compared to big city buffets, but still good enough and the the taste of the food is legit and superb (superb may be an exaggeration, but I bet you will feel the same after getting tired of pastas, pizzas or random meat dishes with potatoes in europe cities...) Came for the dinner buffet at 6 30 (just missed the cheaper lunch option, darn). Total came up to around 30 euro from the 26 base price plus water and cover. Anyway, came to see what the hype was about and I have to say it is totally worth it. The quality is comparable to AYCE sushi from North America (I hail from Toronto) but with less variety replaced with full dishes and a few Venice twists. If that's not enough, they also have skewered roasted meat (Brazilian steakhouse style) which was a pleasant surprise. Because of the price, it would be 4 stars if anywhere else, but since it's Venice, this wholeheartedly deserves 5 stars. After 10 days in Italy with several more to go, my Asian food loving family needed a reprieve. We decided to give this place a shot in spite of the not so favorable reviews (most of which are very old). We had walked by here many times and it always seemed busy and the food in the plates looked great! We were not disappointed. We started with two different dumplings which were hot and tender-wonderful! My kids had several different types of rolled sushi and were very pleased, and I had vegetable fried rice and sesame seared tuna which was super fresh! The service was fast and good. The only negative was that their credit card machine wasn't working and we were not informed of this before ordering. Okay, I'm a little biased. When I went here, I had been in Italy a month. I was more than a little sushi deprived. When I stopped by Venice for a short 24 hour stint, and walked by this place, I couldn't resist. Was the sushi great? Not really. But I'm from Seattle, so my standards of what good sushi is, are excessively high. What boosts my rating, were the incredibly funny and nice waiters, the good wine, and the value all you can eat option. Plus, if you are not spoiled like me with home town great seafood, then there's was pretty alright! I suggest going in for lunch, when all you can eat is cheaper, and trying the chicken satay. Very very good. Actually the non fish dishes were by far the tastiest. But hey, I still got my sushi fix in. read more

It was 15:00 when I came to eat lunch. They know how to speak English. I asked how long I had to eat till they close for lunch, women at register tell me 18:00, so I could of had 3hours. First plate, all chicken cold, fish is warm, everything else terrible. I left half the plate uneaten, no good. I go for second plate of only real shrimp (they also have imitation shrimp there). They real shrimp were okay. I stopped eating. At least 20 other customers have came in now, so I was expecting they would bring out fresh food. I waited 30min still no fresh food comes out. I asked the Italian server when they are bringing out fresh chicken. He says okay, no problem. I wait 30 more minutes. No fresh chicken or food comes out. I go to the Asian boy who keeps cleaning and seeing how much food is left. He tells me he speaks no English. I then go to the lady cashier who initially sat me down and ask her when the chicken is coming out. She says "chicken, what is chicken? Go ask one of the guys." I tell her that they said they do not speak English. So she states "what you want?" I say there is no hot or fresh food. She says it's because it's late. I tell her it is 16:30 and that she said lunch closes at 18:00. They were not going to let me win. I went back to my table, paid and left. Most of the food trays were empty and never refilled! Goodluck eating here! Do not forget 2euro charge per person that I did not see on the menu or does that rude woman mention. Not nice to do that to paying customers! read more

This is an ok place for Chinese/Japanese buffet, in Venice. Be aware that there is a 2€ coperto/person and the ice cream is not included in the buffet, it is also an extra 2€. THE worst restuarant we have been to in Italy by far. It took over an hour for the food to arrive. And this is only after we queried multiple times. We were there for nearly 2 hours and we still hadnt received all the food ordered. So we left hungry. The food was just average and my bill was $125 for food we never received. For your sake don't eat here The Sushi is made with very little fish and a ton of rice, after I left some rice they treated me like a criminal and told me they would charge a fine of left over that in the chart is written that varies from 5euro to 20euro and don't specify why one or the other. When I ask about it, the guy at the door didn't even try to explain why they charged 5 or 20, just came up with a random number and told me just because. The, I suppose, owner was even arrogant enough to say to me taht I was very lucky because I couldn't eat sushi anywhere in Venice for that price. That's not the way to treat a costumer. You would think a Chinese buffet in Venice sounds like a horrible idea and the quality would be super compared to the freshness of the Venetian restaurants but you are soooooo mistaken. The idea is actually genius. Chinese cuisine can do wonders with fresh, high quality seafood like that of Venice and this restaurant proves it. My wife and I noticed this place when we saw how busy it was the night before when we were strolling the marketplace. After a few days of eating all the pasta and fried mixed seafood we could, we were looking for something else...like rice (Adriana need their rice lol). We decided to see what the buffet looked like before we ate because I'm not gonna waste money and stomach space just because I was eating too much delicious pasta. When I saw the spread I knew this place was legit. They had lobster, juicy shrimp cocktail, the most delicious fried shrimp, sushi with sashimi and the quality was better than most sushi restaurants in the States. Oysters, clams done multiple ways, dumplings, steak, tradition Chinese buffet items...the list goes on. This was dinner by the way.
