Apple Pay sent me an alert saying I spent $52 and change yes in USD. Only then I realized I was scammed. Just so you know, it's illegal to charge USD in Italy. You could only charge customers in euro. So basically I paid the fees for converting euro to USD. That Chinese man scammed. I will make the effort to report this to the Italian authorities and also try my best to fight the additional charge with my credit card company. Shame on you petty thief merchant! Otherwise, Venice is a beautiful city. I was so pissed that I paid a visit to the local police station. They knew exactly what happened and thanked me for reporting this restaurant. Absolutely recommend the place and their hosts and as well the ambiance that you get in a subtle kind of quite part of the town. Just do it!!
