Oil change (13 qts) for my F250 diesel truck. They were very efficient: battery status-check,…read moreengine air filter- checked and replaced. Offered to check the transmission differentials. Asked about wipers. Showed me the final oil level on the dipstick when there had finished. They showed great cooperation and have winning process. Pricing was about as expected. I would recommend them for sure.

I came here for an oil change. They will not let you get out of your car, so it's almost impossible…read moreto see what's going on and what they're doing. However, I could see through the small gap between the open hood and the top of my dashboard that they were putting a plastic hose down my dipstick tube. I said, "Wait, what are you doing? Are you sucking the oil out through the dipstick tube?" He said "Yes." I said, "No, I want you to remove the drain plug and do it properly". He replied, "We can't do that. It's our policy". I said, "Well, don't do it then and I'll just change it myself". He pulled the hose out of the dipstick tube, shut my hood, and said I was free to go. I left and started driving north on US-1 toward Fort Pierce. As I was driving, the low oil pressure light started to come on and off intermittently. I immediately knew the car was dangerously low on oil. I immediately pulled into Express Car Care near Edwards Rd by the railroad tracks and told him my story. When he drained my oil, he said only a HALF-QUART of oil came out! Valvoline Instant Oil Change SUCKED THE OIL OUT OF MY CAR AND LET ME DRIVE OFF. I went back to Valvoline Instant Oil Change when my oil change was completed at Express Car Care and asked them why they sucked the oil out of my car and let me leave. Of course they denied it. The technician eventually admitted that the machine was only on "for a minute". Apparently that's all it takes to remove the oil from a small engine that only holds 3.5 quarts. I called corporate headquarters and spoke with the area manager, who staunchly denied any wrongdoing and would not accept any responsibility. They denied removing any oil from the vehicle whatsoever. I maintain my vehicles diligently and know precisely how much oil I had before I arrived. I just checked it THAT MORNING. The facts are: (1) Oil level and oil pressure was FINE BEFORE ARRIVAL, regardless of what management claims to save face.. (2) They inserted a vacuum oil removal machine into the dipstick tube (3) I had low oil pressure warning upon departure. (4) Other mechanic found engine only had a half quart of oil and documented it. This is blatant incompetence and I want acknowledgement from them that if my vehicle develops any significant internal engine problems, that they are responsible but they refused. My vehicle only has 28,001 miles on it. I would recommend to never come here under any circumstances.

A disturbing case of elder abuse!!…read more I had been using this location for all my vehicles for the last five years. My 84-year-old mother always used her dealership, but I introduced her to the folks at Firestone in Jensen and felt that she would be in good hands. My mother experienced a thumping noise while driving and I inspected her tires and identified a small nail in the middle of her rear passenger tire. I suggested she go get a plug ($35), as her tires were in good shape. They sold my mother four new tires for over $950 when a $35 plug was all that was needed. When I went back to discuss it with them, an associate took me back to find her previous set of tires which were still in very good shape. The 'manager' asked how he could make it right but had no real ability to right the wrong, and attempted to cover up the crime by refusing to give us back her tires (which she was charged $5 per tire for recycling/disposal), instead throwing them back into the tire bin so they would be picked up and the evidence would be removed....very ironic, since the quote emblazoned on their wall from Harvey Firestone states, "fundamental honesty is the keystone of business." The Sheriff was called by Matt (the 'manager on duty'), who told the Deputy that I had assaulted him. Luckily, the other customers were there to offer up the truth. I am disgusted that this happened and that Matt refused to make things right. Firestone has lost my business for good and I no longer have any confidence in their brand and they should be ashamed of the bait and switch they pulled on my elderly mother.
