The end result would succeed not only in regional cities like Des Moines or Omaha; it would work anywhere. The owners - including one in another review described as "bitchy" - were incredibly nice. The food had great variety and taste. Even the hot cider was exquisite. My employee, who owns his own plane, is planning on sending his flying friends here on "air trips". Drinks were reasonably priced, service was solid, and everything seemed to be moving well even with a big crowd. The indoor/outdoor setup is a huge plus, especially in the summer. There was plenty of room for people to gather, spread out, and still feel like part of the same event. The front of the place says, "Come as strangers, leave as friends," and for this kind of bike weekend stop, that felt pretty accurate.
