Not to mention recently, I was parked in the parking lot to do some studying, I study better looking at nature or outside than I do in a Library .I was approached by one of the "deacons" who refused to tell me his name. he told me he would call the police on me for sitting in the parking lot, he proceeded to tell me that there are cameras watching all around Making me out to be a criminal. I politely told him no problem I will leave and I left. I would never go to this church again, nor will my children nor will I recommend. There is nothing holy about this place in my opinion. They only want your money. Honestly, it's because of people like that " Deacon", as to why I stopped going to church. I praise God everyday with myself and my family. I stay away from those type of sprits.

The worship is ok but is more like a performance than going before the throne. The teaching was basic without much depth. It's a big church to get lost in. You will crack open that bible, you will take notes, and it will get you thinking. The church itself has had a tense relationship with the residents of Logan Circle. Metropolitan is one of 4 churches within several blocks of Logan Cicle and Sunday mornings can present major parking problems for residents and church attendees. While I've never had that problem (since its walking distance for me) I know its been a headache for a few. Sadly the church is moving to Largo, MD sometime in 2009. The new space will be bigger and parking won't be a problem. Not sure if I will still continue to attend once they move. I guess I could zip car or car pool with folks. Either way, if you get a chance to stop through before the move Ithink it would be worth it. Services are at 7:45am and 11. Check the church website for schedules and events.
