First of all let me take this time and moment to address Gloria P. and Andrea I. about that town hall meeting on Tuesday evening. That it is an absolute lie, he was not thrown out, he left on his own along with other offended residents who were in agreement with him. I was there/ present for the meeting. I can't believe the evil wicked comments and accusations the both of you are opposing upon the man of God. Pastor Hodge is a very honorable and respectful Pastor and community advocate for ALL genders, races and cultures. Dr. Hodge has served as the Pastor for the Rodeo Community Church for (10) years along with the community resource center as well as a member on multiple boards that focus on the needs of the community members. As I was standing there observing and listening to the entire debate, all of a sudden, the other candidate began to attack Supervisor Federal Glover about what he hasn't done for the community. Shortly after, when the debate between the two candidates was ending, Janet (the little old lady) then stood up and made the public outburst. (Janet) began to attack Supervisor Federal Glover about his decision making regarding the refinery, which had nothing to do with the election debate. She stated that she would never vote for him and that she didn't appreciate him being for the refinery. Then after she finished attacking Federal Glover about something that had nothing to do with the debate, she then begin to attack Pastor Hodge saying that Pastor Hodge was also for the refinery and that he went along with Supervisor Federal Glover to vote for continuation towards the refinery initiative and the benefits the housing development will have as a result of. Janet continued to spill pure hate; (she made derogatory comments about those people that live in the projects), and that's when Pastor Hodge firmly stated that it's not the projects, it's called the Housing Authority Development and they deserve respect also. We were all in AWW of the pure hate, evil, and elitist comments that were spilling out of her and all the individuals who were with her. Moreover, her disrespectful public outburst & attack towards Pastor Hodge and Federal Glover had nothing to do with them nor the reason we were there. As you stated Andrea I. "PUBLIC OUTBURST" of hate and pure disrespect from you and the group you were with. The only thing Pastor Hodge calmly stated to Janet and the others who decided to make public outburst of hate, was that she was being very disrespectful and that's not what we were there for. After Pastor Hodge calmly made his comment about the outburst, then the entire HATE GROUP began to attack Pastor Hodge about his Pastoral ship calling him all kind of mean and evil names etc. I am so amazed and shocked that you were offended at someone who tried to respectfully calm down you and the rest of your click pack of hungry wolves, bears and demons. Pastor Hodge is a very kind, caring, compassionate, loving, and overall real genuine man of God! He's a wonderful and awesome Pastor. Dr. Hodge has gone above and beyond for this community and have given so much to people. He continues to feed the community yearly with community feedings and events to bring all together to dine and fellowship. Dr. Hodge gives his last and will be there for anyone, even those who says evil and hateful things/lies about him. I suggest that ALL who feel some type of way to come and visit the Church to see Jesus, because He resides in Pastor Hodge! Zion Hill Baptist Church is the best Church I've ever attended and Dr. Hodge is the best Pastor I have known and ever had. He has a real Godly and genuine love for people and would never cause problems or harm to another . The "ladies" that speak so negatively about Dr. Hodge, the Pastor of ZHBC in Rodeo, need to check their facts: (read his Bio, its posted), it speaks for itself! Your comments are so contradictory of Dr. Hodge's daily demonstrations of his loving-kindness to EVERYONE he comes in contact with. I have personally witness him purchase food, clothing, diapers for people, he has paid their medical bills, pg&e, water bill, car pymts., he has walked the streets in the rain giving rain coats, umbrellas, blankets and money to the homeless, not only in the "Housing Development" (NOT THE PROJECTS, as referred), but he humbly serves the communities of Crockett, Hercules and Pinole, I live in Pinole and has NEVER seen anyone do the things he does for the community. Every man, woman and child get holiday meals, toys, gifts, given to them from Dr. Hodge and Staff at the New Horizon Center, as the Executive Director of the Center, he has been totally instrumental in helping ppl from the above mention cities further their education, secure jobs, better homes, etc., THE MAN IS PHENOMENAL, yet HUMBLE: As for your comments about ZHBC, I encourage you to visit, service is at 11am, every Sunday! Pastor Anthony Hodge, is a Wolf in Sheep's clothing, I experienced him first hand today in a Town hall type meeting call an old woman names for disagreeing with a local politicians history of actions. I kept motioning to him to knock off his behavior. He was physically kicked out of a town hall type meeting. I later went to talk to him and he told me to "Go back to where I came from" What kind of pastor spreads strife, calls older women names, nearly gets into physical altercations with a female moderator and makes a damn scene like that?! Zion hill baptist church is a church known for helping the city of Rodeo. For years the church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Anthony A. K. Hodge Sr. has had block parties and vacation bible school which led to kids getting supplies for school and all sorts of other things. Anybody in need gets help from the pastor, if he is able to help you he will. He has helped many get GED's and brought tons of people to Christ with the preaching he does at the church.
