Heated pool in October. There is also a rooftop deck to lounge on and get some sun.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff here were friendly during our entire stay. The only room available was their smallest, but our wife and I did not feel cramped. The room was equipped with a small fridge, tv, microwave, and coffee maker. We also had a great time lounging at the heated pool. One of the best things about this motel is their location. Close to restaurants, an awesome coffee shop, souvenir shops, grocery store, shuttle stop and a laundry mat. The entrance to Zion is about a mile away and is walkable. We would definitely stay here again.

We actually didn't stay at this motel, but we had a flat tire and pulled into the motel, the staff went above and beyond , helped us with the tire and made sure we didn't run out of water, caring, loving, people, I will stay at this motel next time we are in Zion

Our first visit to Zion, we stay here at Zion park motel. Pros + the hotel clerk was super helpful and friendly with questions and information about getting around town and to the park. + information about shuttles, parking, hours posted at the front lobby + clean facility + small little playground in the back of the motel for kids to run around and play. It's a been outdated, but my kids didn't care. Cons - the WiFi need is very slow... - they offer coffee each morning, but requires you to visit the convenience store across the street. (They all support reach other) but I found it very inconvenient to walk down the street to get it. - the pool wasn't available when we came in. It was under construction. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

Great small hotel for the price. Close to the park entrance, lots of amenities nearby. Neat view from the pool patio.

After driving all the way across the country from Pennsylvania we got in very late and needed a good night rest. Zion Park Motel was quaint, comfortable and quiet. It is in the heart of the town and we had a pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

Great affordable mom and pop motel. The room was spacious and very clean. about 2 miles from Zion park. Couldn't really ask for much more!

The motel was really chill. They have a pool and the grounds are kept clean all day. The room itself was comfortable. The best part was the vicinity to the shuttle and park entrance. Is walking distance to the shuttle and also there are a lot of food places across the street and around the corner. We needed a place to sleep after our long hikes and this place did the trick.

At 500 sq. ft, it feels spacious and serene, with a sitting area over looking the river below, blackout drapes, soaking tub, seperate walk-in shower, pillow-top mattress, workplace, and a 55" TV that my man really appreciates. But the best part is the large private balcony with seating and a direct view of The Watchman, one of Zion's most iconic peaks. Sunrises and sunsets from here are epic. Your stay includes, wifi, parking, year-round access to the outdoor pools and hot tubs, fire pits, fitness center, bathrobes and slippers, ac/heat, coffee maker, mini-fridge, and fresh coffee each morning near the lobby. On-site you'll also find a restaurant by the name of Anthera, and a spa, both of which I recommend. With 53 rooms, the property doesn't feel like just another standard hotel. What truly sets it apart though, is what lies just behind it, the lush riverside gardens. Ending your day sitting by the river, listening to the water move past as your thoughts quiet and your whole body softens. In the morning expect to see a lot of deer grazing in the grass areas. It's genuinely spellbinding. If the restaurant on property doesn't interest you there are other walkable options nearby and this property does not allow pets. Breakfast is available for an additional fee.

The dining room area provides ample space, making it comfortable for families or groups. After a long hike, we used the barbecue area and enjoyed dinner on the patio -- a great way to unwind and enjoy the weather. * Cold water refill available inside the fitness area * Updated lobby and welcoming staff * Outdoor patio and barbecue setup perfect for post‑hike meals While the stay was positive overall, a few details stood out: * The carpet in the hallways and rooms feels a little outdated and could use attention. * In room 237, we noticed no cold water in the shower, which should be addressed by maintenance. * Overnight parking comes with a $20 fee. Despite minor issues, the hospitality, amenities, and overall comfort made this a place we would definitely stay at again the next time we're in Zion.

You could get on the shuttle stop to the left of the hotel to go further down the main street if you didn't want to walk. At check-in, they gave us a big sheet of helpful information showing us the town and the park shuttle stops. Springdale is very convenient, you can walk to several other restaurants and stores from the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious quiet and had a wonderful balcony with two chairs and a table to sit and admire the incredible mountain view. The room has a microwave, refrigerator and freezer, a really nice Keurig coffee maker (modern, made coffee quickly), generic Keurig coffee cups, and a couch with a large open area and a separate TV (another by the bed). There was a long bench which was nice for my husband's bigger suitcase and a luggage rack. The bathroom was compact. My knee was about 2" from the open door. There was enough sink counter space. When you shower, make sure the doors are positioned so the one by the shower head closes completely touches the wall. My husband had the other one which didn't touch the wall, and the water flowed between the doors and was flooding the floor. We declined daily housekeeping with our Do Not Disturb sign, and Housekeeping put a plastic bin of bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, and a new roll of toilet paper by our door. First hotel where I have ever seen this! As a woman who feels anxiety when there is no spare toilet paper and the one on the wall is getting small, this was greatly appreciated! There are several units of rooms, so you have to walk outside for breakfast. We were in room 231, B unit on the corner. Stairs on one side and an elevator on the other side of the building. Behind it is the pool and hot tub. The water felt really cool in April, and the hot tub more warm than hot. A family with small kids was playing in it. Pool is open 7 am - 10 pm. There are outdoor firepits and a laundry building (24 hrs). The breakfast had scrambled eggs, one type of breakfast meat, and hash brown potatoes that were heavily peppered. The first morning, they were mostly black with pepper. That was the main drawback for me. Breakfast is 6 am - 10 am. Maintenance came after 1 pm the next day, like I requested to address water that had been trickling out of our shower. He tightened the shower head and showed not to tighten the turn-off knob too much (which I also had found out the previous night). Very nice person. End of April 2026, we paid $316/night or $362.48 with taxes/night. I had never paid over $1,000 at a Best Western before, but the room and staff were very good, and shuttle and park convenience were perfect.

The daily included breakfast was a big bonus and made starting our mornings easy without having to go elsewhere. The room immediately stood out for how clean it was, with high ceilings that made it feel open and spacious. The layout was well thought out, with convenient space for our hiking gear and places to hang everything. Also, the TV was noticeably huge, possibly the largest one I've ever seen in a hotel room! The oldest bed & breakfast near Zion National Park!…read more How old? Since 1931! We all know that when anything lasts this long it must be very special and that's exactly what this charming place is! We've stayed here a few times and each time has been wonderful. There are only a handful of rooms to begin with and I love smaller properties with less people around. I also love historic places with tons of charm and a dash of quirkiness. Located less than a mile from the park! Also centrally located in town meaning you can literally walk to restaurants, shops, grocery store, and a great coffee shop in the morning. If you'd like a very hearty breakfast you may purchase a $5 voucher from Oscar's Cafe which is a really great deal. I can only hope that this place will be around until the end of time.

I had such high hopes for this b and b after reading the reviews and seeing photos online, but…read moreunfortunately it was a disappointment. It was not made clear during the reservation process that Room 3 does not have a standard shower. Instead, it has a claw-foot tub with a handheld shower head that must be held while showering, or the tub can be used for bathing. I believe this should be clearly disclosed so guests can make an informed decision before booking. The description of "European style shower" does not make it clear that you cannot take an actual shower in the room. We actually wound up getting passes for the Zion canyon hot springs just so we could shower during our stay. I understand this is a historic inn, but that does not eliminate the expectation of basic accommodations, such as a functioning toilet seat and an adequate supply of toilet paper. When we checked in, the toilet seat was cracked, and there was only a half roll of toilet paper provided. I messaged to ask where I could find more, and I was told someone would bring it that evening. By 9:00 p.m., nothing had arrived, so I followed up and asked whether I should go to a nearby store to purchase toilet paper and a replacement toilet seat, since the one in our room was broken. The owner/manager called me and said, "I didn't realize this was such a crisis for you." I found that response unnecessarily dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. He also told me the toilet seat would not be repaired during our stay, but then explained where I could find additional toilet paper myself. I was disappointed that this information was not provided when I first asked several hours earlier. The following day, the toilet seat was replaced. I guess although he didn't think it was a "crisis", he did realize having a functioning toilet seat was important. The inn has historic charm, but the property appears run down and in need of better maintenance. It is possible to preserve the character of a historic building while still keeping the infrastructure and basic amenities up to standard. This place has a great deal of potential, but in its current condition and with the current level of management, it does not meet the expectations of a 3-, 4-, or 5-star stay. The highlight of our visit was leaving the inn to eat breakfast at Oscar's. The food was delicious and this was the best part of our stay. There is no one consistently on site to assist with issues that arise during a stay, no traditional check-in or check-out process, and no one actively monitoring the property. Unfortunately, the combination of poor communication, dismissive management, and the lack of basic amenities resulted in a disappointing experience. I would not recommend staying here.
