We wanted a place to watch the soccer game and Zipps was perfect! The food came quickly and tasted good, the wings (not pictured) were our favorite. Eris was attentive and sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has plenty of great tvs and fresh air.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Popped in for lunch while the wife was at Dazey. Ordered their lunch special (Tuna sandwich and Green Bay Chili) [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sat at the big, game changing bar in the middle of the establishment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Wasn't too busy on a Thursday afternoon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sports on TV (it's a sports bar), but it's not football season yet so it's not my sport, haha. The Green Bay Chili was good, nothing to write home about. Best compared to school chili we all had from yesteryear. I was pleasantly surprised about the tuna, with lettuce and tomato. It was a half sandwich and really the perfect lunch portion. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a cool place to watch sports, eat some food and wait for your wife to get done at Dazey.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Tempe is a cool area, and I'm glad we venture here as often as we do. If I were a college student I'd come here more often.

Food is good, large portions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere is nice and lively. They are kid friendly. Tons of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Took a little while to take our order, but once they did the food came out pretty quick. Waitress was friendly. Be careful if you ask for ranch or a space, they do charge extra. Wasn't aware until the end. Its not much, but she did ask of we wanted it and then charged us so just surprised was all. Chicken skewers come in a pretty good quantity and it's a breaded chicken, so good. Same with chicken fingers. We couldn't finish either one. Burgers are huge!

Stopped in after the ASU bowl game and we got a table right away despite it being packed. They were pretty busy and the kitchen was very backed up. Although food was coming up on the order counter fast the servers seemed confused and didn't get it out timely. We ordered drinks and somehow 3 people in our party had to ask 3x before their water came out. We had about 8 people in our party and eventhough our order went in together food came out at different times. Some of our orders were messed up and missing items and we had to wait for the corrections. When we noticed them it was wrong the server just let out a huge sigh and stomped back to the kitchen as if it was our fault. One of the members of our party didn't get their food I think they forgot to put it in. His food came out after we noticed 2 people and we were almost done. They need a better system so many receipts hanging and food sitting under lights and servers standing around looking lost and confused. They had enough staff on duty but I suggest they have a meeting and discuss order and responsibilities. The restrooms were unkempt, food service disorderly. The cooks and the hostess and busboys and bartenders seemed to man their stations well. Those in between need some work. My Salad was decent and wings hot and spicy with good flavor. Beware if you get dipping sauce such as ranch they charge per sauce.

I was recommended to try the wings. The wings were decent better than the rest of the food. But the sandwich was just average. The fries and sweet potato chips weren't crunchy that day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place by itself was good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was almost full for a Sunday afternoon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a lot of screens, with a lot of games going.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The crowd and the vibe on that day was good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The servers were also very patient and helpful. Id have given this place a 3 if not for the service and the place. Id not recommend this place if food is the main priority. But if it's drink and have a good time watching the games, then it's a nice visit.

5 stars for this place. Cold beer and best served napkins I've ever had! Whoever rated this place under 5 stars needs to rethink their life decisions.

we got here late around 9:50 pm, our server with the blonde hair and bangs was so lovely, she was talkative and attentive the whole time, our food came out hot and fresh, i got a complimentary cookie because it was my birthday, i loved my blue cheese burger and my boyfriend loved the fish sandwich, the cookie skillet was amazing we were already stuffed before getting it but we made room to finish it all, the expresso martini wasn't foamy at all and tasted really watered down, i was disappointed since it cost $12 but overall i loved my dinning experience here, i can't wait to come back and try new items

Showing that I took the high road and waitresses were nice. Manager should have to go to managerial traffic school.

I ordered a Cobb Salad and Nachos here and the Nachos I did my best until I couldn't any longer. I would pick up a chip and the whole plate would come up. Incredibly soggy and couldn't pull a chip apart from the microwaved or opened cheese. They were just bad. Told manager and he denied that they looked bad by observation even when I proved what I said visually. Said because I ate a 1/3 he would still charge me full price. I was upset and the manager was incredibly rude. I waited for the check after watching game and was thinking because I ate and drank there for a few hours he would have taken care of it. No such luck. I hate a choice to take it out on the tip of the nice ladies there or take the high road. I took the high road. Just wanted to make it clear the manger at this location in Tempe is a complete joke and should never have management position after looking at nachos and what I was explaining and still siding with his business. Haven't yelped in years. This guy deserves it. Total ego loser and not for customers. Bartenders all agreed and felt sorry Manager, Hispanic guy looked not sure his name, clearly isn't qualified for customer service. All three bartenders said sorry multiple times and apologized for how the nachos looked. Not about the money it's the principle of the matter. Guy was a jerk and should have owned poor service and food.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great atmosphere lots of TVs to watch the games great corner location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Location offers indoor and outside dining.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had the standards onion rings, wings, pizza and beers. Everything was very good. Our server took great care of us and when they got really busy a few other coworkers helped out. Enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back

Stopped by here for lunch while I was in town for a work conference. I'm not from this area but the food was good. I will say [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was here around lunchtime during the weekday and there weren't many people inside so your experience may vary.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But I ordered the mozzarella stick which for some reason comes wrapped in egg roll wrapping. Is that a west thing? Not really sure, they tasted like egg rolls filled with cheese. The club sandwich was also really good. Really enjoyed it, fries weren't my favorite but they still did the job. Overall I wouldn't mind coming stopping by here again.

Zipps Sports Bar is truly the bomb. I must say, Zipps truly deserves a solid 4-star rating. The main reason being that my friends absolutely love this place, and I can see why! The food is good, mainly the Monaco Focaccia and the 50/50 blend of fries and onion rings. It is one delicious sandwich. Pair that with a cold beer and top-notch service, and you've got yourself a winning combination. If you're looking for a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy some tasty bar eats, Zipps is the place to be!

You can still get zipparittas to go but now you have to order food with it for it to be togo?

    Still have Zippararittas to go?

We wish! But unfortunately no, we are now unable to sell them to-go. The liquor law changed, they were allowing restaurants to sell liquor to-go only temporarily to help with the shut down. We hope to see you in person for a nice cold one! :)

My frustration is with the rudeness and lack of training of their security and management team. Ok, so you are revolving to a club, inform your patrons POLITELY! That they will need to give up their table because they become VIP or whatever BS. But KNOW your customers and read the client! Especially when they just brought a party of about 20 and the remaining few were continually buying drinks and tipping far beyond reasonable. I will be honest, I would not visit this location again. But I will encourage others to check it out.

Could decide on the dessert so asked if we could have some churro on it. It was bomb! Few weeks later: lol still thinking about how my husband tipped 35-45% because our waitress sobbed to him how she hadn't really been tipped all day. I don't know....... We are naturally good tippers, like always 20% bare minimum and if service exceptional we tip higher. But we had 3 tickets (stayed awhile and kept ordering another round of drinks) and he felt bad and obligated to tip more. Don't get me wrong...... we really loved our server and our service but this "guilt trip" frustrates me. It's like we made up for everyone prior for not tipping. Seems unprofessional to share that with your customer.

We choose to sit indoors. The restaurant is very cozy with dimmed lighting to add to the evening ambiance. It has a casual feel but you can dress up or down. Some people were casual and some more dressed up. We were seated at the front by the stage where live music was about to start. I thought this would be nice since I do enjoy live music. Well the speakers were facing right at our table and it was noticeably loud when the entertainer began to play. We asked for another table. We could not hear ourselves talking.
