Final Round is hands down my favorite bar in Tempe -- and yeah, it helps that it's walking distance from home (which I've definitely taken full advantage of more than once). It's my go-to spot to bring friends, whether it's day drinking over darts and games, or nighttime trivia and karaoke over probably too many drinks. The bartenders know my order, and even more importantly, they supported me when I went sober for a while -- always had a nonalcoholic beer ready without judgment. That kind of place? Love it! The food, the vibes, the service! It's an all in one! The only thing that doesn't leave me satisfied is that the price for food is not the same as on the menu. Wings are $8.95 on the menus but somehow I paid almost $20 for a 6 piece and fries. Based on the online price, it should have been $14 before tax. Even 26% tax still doesn't put me at $20. Went to watch football Jan 11th and this was my 2nd time ever going there. The ONLY thing I can say is good are the prices, the specials, and the food is good. The service absolutely SUCKS!!! I can HONESTLY say today as well as the first time I could have totally skipped out on my bill both times but I don't do that and didn't do it either time. It was quite apparent that the short female bartender was only interested in serving the "males" because I was sitting there with another female ​friend for about 40 minutes before she came to our table. The bald headed bartender gentlemen was the one who is very sarcastic originally took our order , but never came back after bringing out our food to us. Throughout our time, there, which was pretty long because it was a football game. The short bartender only came over once. We asked for a glass of water and never got it. We had to wait additional time for her to swing by our way , to get the water we had previously asked for. We overheard her say several times that the kitchen was backed up and they were shorthanded. My thing is this, it is football playoff, time and you know that people are going to be frequenting your bar there. So, you all should be ready for something like that instead of making us the paying patrons wait. As we were leaving, the bald headed dude, who is a little sarcastic in his own way was standing outside as we were leaving and I said to him, thank you, but I didn't mean that in a nice way.I too meant that in a sarcastic way because he really didn't do anything for us but bring our to go box that we had to ask for 3 times. Wait for it------ this is real reason why i'm leaving this review. He laughed at what I said so I said to him next week it's only gonna be double the busy for you guys because of the playoff games. And his response was well, if you don't like it here, then why the F%#* did you come here? And if you don't like it, then don't come the F%#* back. I'm sorry that is NOT the way to respond to a paying customer and again I definitely could have walked out on my bill, but again I didn't do that.I did pay which I had to chase down the short bartender in order to pay that bill. Took my oldest son out for lunch Sunday, to do our Fantasy Football draft, he lives in South Phoenix (food desert) last time hardly anything good was open on a Sunday, So i decided to look east towards Tempe, used Yelp to compare all the different sports bars this one had the best reviews in Tempe and the cheapest food. Was not disappointed had a good pizza 3 toppings (8/10) and a large basket full of spicy wings ( 8.5/10) with side of ranch and a pitcher of beer for 35$. Other places in comparison would have cost alot more,we couldn't finish everything.Great customer service, only thing missing were more females whole lot of dudes in there . read more

The lady with blonde hair whom was here today 12/30/24 was utterly rude to both my friends and I. The vibe is her not even wanting to be here. She's always busy attending her favorites and when you need something she doesn't even acknowledge that you are there, and is annoyed. God forbid you want to spend money here, just go elsewhere. Food is great but the customer service is absolute trash. She told us why we didn't we leave a tip it was pretty obvious and told us not to come back. We also got some chicken tenders, fries, and onion rings, and we were very confused as to why everything was terribly salty. Turns out it wasn't the food, but the ranch dressing! Final Round is a wonderful sports bar here in Tempe! The best part though? The hospitality! When you come here, you're family. A special shout out to Kathy and Ken who always treat us like their own. Our favorite part of final round - the breakfast! We come here at least once a month on Saturdays or Sundays to get our fix. Every Saturday Kathy goes to the store herself to get sourdough bread for the toast and sandwiches. And the prices! So much food for such a little price! Our 6 month old daughter comes to Final Round with us often and I've never felt uncomfortable or unwelcome for doing so. The bartenders love her and so do the patrons. Let me start off by saying I actually like this place the only thing I didn't like about it is the racism if you go there and you're a color person they don't care about you. They will literally make you wait as long as they can. just a couple of days ago I came by and I had a bottle of Sprite with me due to it being very hot. I was already going to make an order and I walked in the restaurant to grab a menu to my surprise, I met with a demeanor that I did not understand. The lady was screaming and yelling at me. She happened to be the owner ro I apologize as I didn't mean harm to her business. I already was waiting with a menu and she came out with an aggressive behavior I told her I was sorry and she began to raise her voice and call me aggressive this lady was drunk af trying to shout at me when the sprite was already done lady who are you mad at then she refused to take my order I called her out her shit because she doesn't like color people this place is a joke this is how you treat paying customers this is sad I never realize how racism is until I move to Arizona in California. This would never happen and I think it's so funny that people think it's cool to be racist but if a video spread like wildfire of this lady doing what she did to me she would get cooked in an instant on the Internet. This is quite a fun little hole in the wall on the opposite side of Mill as all the other bars. It attracts a crowd a step up from the usual college bunch. However, the staff here are a bit "picky & choosey". They seem to have their favorite patrons & don't take too kindly to anyone that doesn't frequent. It isn't terribly busy if you arrive before 10pm. It starts to fill up pretty quickly & seating is sparse. You have the option of indoors or patio- but we learned service to the patio is a bit sparse, so you end up having to go up to the bar anyway. However, drink prices here are on par, and the quality is much better than other establishments! The drinks are not lacking or weak at all. I will definitely give the bartenders credit for their skill & generosity when serving. It's just the actual demeanor of the bartenders that is a turn off. They have their favorites & regulars- you come second. And don't ask for anything specialty. You'll be met with a an eye roll & lucky if they'll try. (Understandable when it is slammed busy but otherwise- what's the issue?! Any other bar just charges per order & often times will thank you for the new idea.) There are pool tables, darts & karaoke. Your standard bar, and a menu for some eats- but I wouldn't recommend that either because after 10pm the kitchen is pretty much closed & not going to oblige. The bathrooms could use a major upgrade. Absolutely run down, dirty & one at a time. I noticed females opting to use the men's room because the wait was ridiculous. If you live in the vicinity, this is a decent option to grab a drink & waste away an evening without being overcharged. Otherwise it isn't one I'd seek or go out of my way to visit again. I witnessed how they handled a slight issue w/ a couple patrons & wasn't very impressed- another reason I'll repeat: they selectively treat their patrons. So I dragged my son here for a late lunch. A couple Margs for me, soda for him, and we split sliders, a dozen wings, and some loaded skins. Pretty good stuff ftmp. My first Marg was better than the second but the appetizers were alright. Checking my bill I did have a question about one item that pertained to my $2.00 check in offer. I find it upsetting when you enter a place interested in potentially asking if they're hiring, and the people sitting behind you are employees and most likely managers and they're talked bad about how their employees show up (girls) wearing no makeup and stating how this is a gig and it's like stripping, "you're here to make money". SAD. I get it, you need to go to work ready to work, but you should have a room where you can privately and appropriately discuss this situation instead of turning away potential employees. TODAY, October 14 at 2am , I was using the mens bathroom , and a man sitting in the toilet stall , cracked the door open and asked " let me S*** your D***. I walked out and expressed what happened to the lady behind the bar and she said F*** Y**. I stayed to make my case with the establishment and they assured me they didn't agree with what happened to me , OR with what the lady at the bar stated , but even as I pointed out the subject , they let him stay there sitting in the patio hanging out . I COMPLETELY denounce and detest their actions ! Please bring awareness to this , because the lady that told me F*** Y** , was the OWNER !!!!! This is a very fun bar with diverse customers. If you like karaoke then this is the bar to come to because everyone gets super drunk and had fun. The staff is fantastic and the food looks pretty good however I've never eaten there because we usually go in after dinner so I do recommend this place for even groups. read more

Far and away, the best sports bar in Tempe. The staff really go out of their way to get to know their regulars, drinks prices are very fair, great food menu (grilled chicken sandwich is my favorite), and the bar is always clean and well maintained. My one small complaint is there is only a single stall for the ladies room. That can be a challenge on a busy night when there are several women in line. However, this is a seriously amazing place. read more
