I stopped in one afternoon to see about having my truck washed. The gal at the front desk had a very difficult time explaining that they were too busy but finally made me an appointment for the following morning. we decided to forgo the interior and only focus on the exterior due to the 3 to 4 hours they require (just for a basic wash!!). I returned in the morning and was greeted by the same gal and another employee. He explained that there was no way they would/could accommodate me. huh??! I explained that I had an appointment for now and I took the time to drive all the way here to just have the exterior washed. He again said they needed my truck for 3-4 hours still and there was no guarantee that they would be able to complete in that time. I even offered to give my number, aasking them to call me if they got a break in their schedule any day or time, I could be back within 15 minutes, nope, they were not interested. Whoa, I am quite certain they did not want to serve me as a customer. I have heard this same story at other businesses and will just need to accept this as the new business practice. This is very sad indeed, welcome to 2023.

Stepped inside office to let employee know and she said that tire shine is broke and they should have it fixed in a few days. I asked "what does that do for me now, shouldn't the attendant have mentioned that when I asked". She printed off my receipt and wrote a note on it and sent me to 19th street location to get it done again. So I go through the 19th location only for it to apply shine on two spots on each tire. Now after hour I was running out of time. I threw my hands in the air and called it quits. I used to use them all the time. I don't know what is going on with the maintenance at their locations. My daughter took her car through the car wash, and during the drying process, an employee wearing jewelry cracked her window. She immediately reported the incident to the supervisor on duty. Unfortunately, the supervisor was rude and unprofessional throughout the interaction. She instructed the employee to remove his bracelets--which raised concerns--(Why have him take them off if they were "rubber") We were asked to complete an incident report and were told they would "see if" the damage would be covered. The supervisor refused to provide her name or the manager's name. The initial claim was denied, though the issue was forwarded to corporate, who then contacted their insurance company. After a full month, the claim was denied again, stating that no excessive force was used and that the employee was wearing rubber bracelets. We strongly disagree with this conclusion, as the window was not damaged prior to entering the car wash. While we understand that mistakes can happen, the lack of accountability, transparency, and professionalism in handling this situation is unacceptable. As a result, our family, friends, and everyone I personally recommend businesses to will not be returning. Save yourself the trouble.

I recently read a post listed by Mike T. I am in the exact same position that he is. my vehicle…read moreis a 2022 in very good condition. I went to the Mr. Car Wash on Slide Road. I was missing paint on the hood of my vehicle a little smaller than the size of a dollar bill. We were contacted by management and advised that this was caused by a rock chip. I am guessing that this is the "rubber stamp" answer. I am sure that the pressure washer used a few feet from my vehicle had nothing to do with this incident. I will take them to small claims court. They will be represented by counsel. I will be there as a matter of principle. They have no problem charging upwards of $20 for a wash but will not take any responsibility for damage. Lubbock people do not deserve deceptive businesses practices when supporting local businesses. The good thing is there are plenty of reputable businesses that appreciate the business.
