I love this place. I found out about the Adventure Park high ropes courses in September and decided to take my kids to check it out. The experience is top-notch. We've been back three times already, including the last day of the season! I've gone with just my two seven year olds, with a big family group of 8, and with my kids and my dad. It takes longer to get a big group through, but the laughs and encouragement are worth the extra time. The web interface is easy to use. Booking our tickets was simple, and the online waiver was helpful. When you arrive you check in and get your tickets in the main office. A stop at the port-a-potties is recommended, then it's off to get fitted for your gear. The equipment is new and well-cared for. The harnesses are easily adjustable, even for 7 year old kids who weigh in at 54 lbs-- just enough to do the "grown up" courses. The staff member takes you through orientation on a practice course, where you learn to use the tweezles, the rabbit ears, and the trolley for zipping. I am actually terrified of heights, but I can do Zip Zone because I trust the gear. As you walk to the tree house where the high ropes courses begin you get a chance to see people on the elements. It's a nice taste of the adventure to come! Up the steps, then it's time to choose a course. There are staff readily available on the ground, at the top of the steps up the tree house, and along the course if you need them. One of my kids slipped between the barrels on the Sunflower course, and was promptly rescued by Scott. Melanie climbed up with us to assist when one of my kids froze on a particularly difficult element. The yellow Sunflower course is the easiest of the high ones. Mossy Ridge and Flint Run are the green courses, and are a bit harder. These are the only three I've done since my kids are too short to do the blue or black courses. The elements are fun, the zip lines are fast, and you get enough time at the park to cover as much as you'd like if you go fast enough. The staff members are friendly, and remembered us. I saw Lori, one of the owners, go through the course with two older women, taking pictures for them as they braved the course together. I'm hoping Zip Zone creates a "frequent fliers" program because we will be going back as soon as they re-open for next season! read more

I am a zip liner first timer and this tour was more than I expected! The setting is beautiful and you almost forget you are 50 feet in the air, standing on a platform in a tree! The guides were knowledgeable and kept me feeling safe the whole time. You are not sure what to expect as you make your way through the woods to the start of the tour but, I can tell you, my heart was pounding the whole time. 2 bridges lead you to the first of 5 lines. It took me a minute to get up the nerve, wipe my sweaty palms and just let go. After zipping on the first line, I was ready for more! I would recommend this tour to anyone in the area and for those of you passing through town. ZipZone has brought the excitement of zip lining right here to Columbus! read more

This was our first zip line tour (there will be more). It was so safe that I never thought about falling - even on the edge of a platform in the treetops. Our 10 year old loved it and the guides were very encouraging with him. Zip Zone has well-trained guides, top notch equipment and a very well built course. You couldn't feel more safe. The guides handle all the equipment so there is no room for user error. The tour took about 2 hours, which was just right with kids, and left us all wanting to go again. Wow! What a great experience! I zipped last summer with some family who were in from out of town and had an amazing time! I event went back later with a friend and her granddaughter. The staff is very professional and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I was a little hesitant about the heights at first, but with all of the guides checking and double checking all of the safety points, I felt a lot better. After the first zip I was ready for more! My son and mother in law were novice zip liners and enjoyed it immensely. Beautiful location, large wooded area right in Polaris. excellent staff, friendly and knowledgeable, very patient with helping those not quite ready to take the"leap". First time zip lining and enjoyed every minute of it. Hard to believe it was just outside 270 on the north end - route 23... very quick drive for such a unique experience. My wife and I took our 8 year old son and his friend and they both had a blast. We all felt completely safe on the entire tour.
