What a fun afternoon! I was planning for a 15 yo and a 17 yo and this was the perfect r activity. My husband and I (48 and 50) were able to participate too. He's in great shape and found the yellow and green courses (the two easiest) to be fun and still challenging. I was able to complete the entry level yellow course myself despite being overweight and out of shape. This is a workout and will engage all your muscles as you use your core and upper body strength to help stabilize you on the obstacles. ZipZone is a great place to go while in the Columbus area. There are roped courses suitable for any level, a kids area, and a canopy tour. I've been able to experience all three and I've done almost every course on the ropes course. My favorite activity to do has to be the canopy tour. Two staff members will take you up in the air through five different zip lines. Unlike the rope courses, it has no obstacles you have to complete, you just have to sit back, relax, and enjoy flying through the air on a zip line. I am very afraid of heights but I have to say ZipZone is always a good time. They are very accommodating for people like me and help you feel comfortable above the ground- it's definitely a low pressure environment. Everybody who works here is really kind and tries to connect with you while you're visiting. We did the canopy adventure. 2 days of nerves and excitement in anticipation of the zip line event. It was our first time zip lining. No lie, it was a workout. Wicked fun! Spencer H. And Ryan were awesome guides. Very experienced, professional, informative, entertaining, and patient. This would be an awesome company, team building activity. The pictures they took were impressive. Who knew that you could still look good with all that gear, wearing an orange helmet and dripping in sweat Bottom line... Whether you're a kid or adult, this place is an absolute blast! I went with a small group of friends to the Adventure Park and cannot recommend it enough. The employees are so helpful every step of the way - through check in, putting on the harness, and training on how to use the equipment. We made it through each color course, which increases in difficulty, and it took us about 3 hours. The last course is challenging! Your forearms will be on fire! The entire park is an excellent opportunity to exercise while having fun. I really like that all the courses end around the same central location, so you can leave water and snacks while you're on each course. Every course has different obstacles, so you never know what to expect. This place is definitely a hidden gem of Columbus!! read more

The only thing better then a zip line is one that also has such an extensive Adventure Park attached allowing you to take full advantage of your adventurous spirit. Unlike other ziplining experiences, this spot doesn't leave you hanging in the middle of the line as they train you well & then help you adjust when needed. The guides are as fun as they are informative to ensure you get the most from your experience. The adventure park is great fun & has 3 different levels to accommodate both risk levels & ability. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at zipzone yesterday and had the time of our life. Our Zipologists ( ha! not a real word) were Adrian and Alex and they were absolutely amazing. They both knew exactly what to say to help calm my nerves, because let's face it, being high in the air with the thought of eminent death isn't exactly a highlight of the experience, but with their gentle approach and nuturing manners, they really knew how to inspire the adventurer in me. Not only would I do it again, but I would highly encourage others to welcome the experience too!!! Had no idea that this was located so close to Columbus! Once you are in the woods, you really could not tell how close you are to the highway. We seriously had the most fun afternoon. Our zipline tour took about an hour and a half (they combined me and my partner with another group of 4). You don't even realize how high up you are. The views are breathtaking. This is undoubtedly one of Columbus' greatest hidden gems! I never knew the 23/270 interchange had such a large wooded area for a ropes course. The staff was AMAZING! Everyone was very nice and encouraging. One of the guides kept giving my kids little "challenges" for certain obstacles. A deer peacefully trotted below us. We had so much fun we seriously considered buying annual passes. The area is gorgeous - it's remarkable to have such a secluded outdoor adventure course so close to the city. read more

Amazing! I visited with my two kiddos who both did the aerial adventure course for ages 4-7. When we first saw the course I thought for sure they would not enjoy it because they are both tall for thier age and the older one in particular was able to touch then ground on the zip line. That being said - they absolutely LOVED it!! The facility is amazing and clean and the staff is out of this world. On our mini trip to Columbus I had some pretty bad experiences with staff members at particular places but the kids who work here are outstanding!! I give this place the highest review possible and strongly reccomend it. I was also able to see some of the "higher" ones and they seemed really awesome. There was also a group there who were doing the zip tour (I believe) and it sounded like they were having an amazing time!!This is a MUST do in Columbus!! read more

My brother found ZipZone. He is uber safety freak, fire fighter, from Illinois, so in other words he is sort of a sissy. He was down here with his wife and my 9 year old nephew for a long weekend visit. Neither one of them had ever done a zip line before, but Jake is an adventurous young lad so my brother was confident he would do well. I was just watching, because I like to stay on the ground & I really thought it would be best as a father son/thing, but really I mostly like to stay on the ground. ZipZone was not the easiest place to find, but it is there......Look harder! The driveway is just to the north of Flint Road on the opposite side (west side) of High Street. It is a dirt road, leave your Ferrari at home. The staff was very thorough, informative and fun during the orientation They balanced the seriousness of getting the equipment right with lighthearted fun so kids and first timers wouldn't be overly worried about what they were getting ready to do. The lead guide was fantastic, friendly and talkative. She engaged all of the "Zippers" and basically gave a lesson in Dendrology as people were enjoying themselves. I was impressed. My brother, was also very impressed by ZipZones equipment, set ups, and attention to detail when it comes to safety. Again being a career firefighter, this is what he does for a living, deals with unsafe situations. If he would have seen anything that was the least bit sketchy he would have pulled the plug on the adventure. Not so, it was great and they had a great time. I'm sure it will be one of those "must dos" each time they come down for a visit. I am already thinking it will be super cool in the fall when the leaves are nice and colorful. Maybe I'll do it next time, It is tough to have your 9 year old nephew out "man" you. read more

So I'm copy/pasting my review. I usually use yelp, but they had signs for TA so I started there. I'm not a professional zip-liner (a zipper?) but I've been to a number of them around Ohio and Indiana over the last few years, so I have some to compare to. If anyone has done this before, you know that the guides have a ton to do with your experience. The group you're with has a lot as well. Let me say that this zip line experience was easily one of the best I've had. We showed up with our waivers already filled out and the reservations made (website = awesome). Pretty easy for the office crew (who were perfect, by the way) My only complaint at this point was "Hey, make the directions on the website easier to find,,,, and make a point that the gravel road will add 10 minutes to the trip" Ok, not 10 minutes, but it does slow you hot rods down. So we geared up and headed out on time, and really had a blast. Seriously, when the one lady I was sure was going to back out started giggling on the first zip... I knew this would be a good trip. For anyone that this is a first trip, or for those of you that have done this before - this is a good time. The braking system they have setup is perfect. Being a little cocky, I decided to test them on the fist one and turn myself around. It didn't matter, when they say it's a fully guided tour, they mean it. You really can't screw it up even if you try. And I tried. So if you're a first timer, or have a ton of experience, you will have a good time here. Just do it. I had a great time, and you will too if you have a pulse. I will be back, probably for the moonlight zip - see you guys then. read more

Had the most amazing time for our first time ever ziplining! We felt safe and secure and very educated throughout the entire experience. We did the guided canopy tour which included 4 sky bridges and 5 ziplines. The guides Logan and Neal made it fun and enjoyable from start to finish! We will definitely be back to try out the obstacle course! My only advice to anyone looking: book in advance but be aware of the weather because they do it rain or shine. I'm not sure it would be enjoyable in the rain, and I don't believe they offer refunds for weather. read more

Located on the grounds of Camp Mary Orton you would never know that zip lining would be happen if you we casually driving down US 23 right before the 270 interchange. When I was here in the middle of July 2016 I found that you didn't even notice the cat traffic despite the closeness to major roads. The course here was fun and very professional.
