This is my first review and I am writing because of my experience in looking for someone that can help me. It is Sunday and since the Friday before last, I have been calling to find a lawyer that would talk to me and not ask me for a ton of money. Its not that I don't want to pay but I lost my job and I am not in a good place. I am living with my friend now and am using her computer because I can't even pay rent. I got attacked by a dog on the street, and got deep teeth holes on my left leg. My leg is swollen and it hurts a lot, so I had to go to the emergency again yesterday. I am trying to get some help with the bills but I can't get any lawyer to take my case or even talk to me to help me because if the dog is running around and you don't know whose it is, then there isn't a person to sue. It has been a difficult week for me. I talked to Peter Zneimer today and I think just talking to someone that has dealt with this kind of issue made me feel better. He told me that if we can find out where the dog came from, then I can make a claim against the owners. I don't know if I can find the house with the dog but just getting an idea what to do, someone wanting to help means a lot. My mother fell from a bus. Her knee got swollen and we took her to the ER. We had to hire a lawyer because the bus company did not pay her bills and she needed surgery. We went to one lawyer who kept the case for about seven months and then said he didn't want it. We talked to several other lawyers downtown. Their staff looks very intelligent. I think everybody has college degree that works there. Very soon after we hired them, they contacted all collection agencies and they stopped calling us. While we had to chase the prior lawyer to even get any kind of information, in this law firm when you call, they all you back right away. Now they are negotiating with the insurance to get us a settlement. We are very comfortable with them. I am a little ticked off that my review is not showing. eter Zneimer ruined my life. I was hit by an SUV as a pedestrian. I took the case to him around May. I would call and ask him what was going on. He said he was waiting for the holidays. The insurance companies are quick to settle around the holidays. That made absolutely no sense to me. Around the holidays he sent his letter of intent to sue to the insurance company. They said, they weren't going to make an offer. He said it would have to go to court. After a few more months, he said he wouldn't be able to take it to the court, he was to busy. He refereed to me another lawyer. I went to see them. After a few months, they said, they weren't interested. I lost over a year because of this nonsense. I called Peter back. He said he would look into it. He never returned my calls after that. Whenever I would see another lawyer they would see he dropped me and weren't interested. I called him recently asking him for help because I need to go to court over my medical bills, 15 thousand. He never returned my calls again. This man ruined my life. Sofia Zneimer did a great job handling my accident case with the insurance. She handled everything with the other driver's insurance and relieved me of alot of stress. At first I thought I would be able to settle with the insurance directly but the insurance company was just leading me on. When they did offer me money they offered to only pay my emergency room bills and would pay nothing for my follow-up treatment for my back. The best law firm ever, great service, very professional and expert. theres nothing impossible with them. I just got my green card through VAWA, I didnt have any kind affidavit of support , no police or middecal report no witness nothing . I went to a lot of law firms they told me it's almost not possible. Zneimer and his staff helped with my daughter's accident. My mother was driving and they got hit in the side and the other driver was saying it wasn't his fault and we got refused by the insurance.
