My super rad jug I picked up at Zocalo for $60
    George G.

A beautiful, very not snooty store specializing in fancy (very fancy) items from Mexico. At times the prices may make your eyes bug out (quite steep) but this place also has affordable little luxuries like fancy church candles for five bucks a pop, you just have to look around. Sort of hard. I picked up the very swank black and white chevron'd up jug that I posted the picture of on yelp here, for $60. It's good quality and it's beautiful. Even Mr. George liked it. Prices go from $5 for a humble candle with Jesus on it to $10 for a fancy embroidered scapular to $6,000 for an eight foot tall Virgen de Guadalupe statue carved out of wood. Yeowza. Its worth a visit if you're in the middle of nowhere.

Huge selection of pottery at reasonable prices. But lots of items that I'm very happy with.

Extremely overpriced and none of the employees even said "hello" as we wandered around the different areas and shops.

At a cursory glance the prices were better here than a lot of online businesses. I was looking for talavera address tiles and a holder. The shop has a great selection of numbered tiles but unfortunately they didn't have a high contrasty one I was looking for, but they did have the metal holders which I also needed. I bought the tiles from a different local store. Tip 1: Don't make the same mistake I made. If you buy them from somewhere else, bring them all in to try in the frame. That's because, the sizes and shapes of both the tiles and the holders are asymmetrical and it's a matter of trying to get the best fit. The lady that owns the store is very nice and helpful and will these things to you. Tip 2: Make sure you absolutely love what you are getting because once you buy it there are exchanges or store credit, no refunds. Tip 3: The opening and closing hours are not strictly adhered. I waited twice outside the store, once at opening and once 20 min after opening time and the store was not open. Reading other reviews I'm not the only person this happened too. It's the same with closing time. They may close up early. I would suggest calling ahead first so you don't waste your time driving like I did. This is the only reason I'm taking one star off.

In 30 minutes total I was walking out with my gifts and a smile on my face. We came back a few weeks later for their pride night market. It was a joyful, friendly setting and I got a chance to learn about the different vendors, as well as the MANY different kinds of workshops they hold at Di Luna- from candle pouring to tile paining to writing. I am looking forward to their next night market on July 11 which will be book themed. Grab a friend and check it out- you won't be disappointed!

They also had a cute little outdoor market going on with all women-owned pop-up shops, which made it even more special. Lots of unique gifts and candles, perfect if you're looking for something different. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which always makes a place stand out. I went on a Friday and it was definitely busy, so you might need to find parking nearby, but it's totally worth it. Definitely recommend stopping by and checking it out!
