Not to get too person, lol, but I have a weird bra size (32 J) and it is impossible for me to find my size at regular stores, much less specialty lingerie stores. Nordstrom used to be my go-to place and when they left the Providence Place Mall, I was lost! Ordering online for that type of product, just doesn't work for me. I need to try them on. Someone told me about Zoe and Company, and I am SO glad they did! Sure it takes me an hour to get there, but it is so worth it. Once they measure you, they bring in a plethora of styles. I'm not exaggerating when I say the last time I was there, she brought in about 50 different bras, and I tried every single one of them on. They came in a variety of styles from sexy to sporty, all of them colorful and pretty. I used to have to get granny bras, but the ones at Zoe are all so pretty! They also had bathing suits my size. I've dealt with years of suffering wearing any bathing suits from other stores. I would have to buy an XL to fit my cup size, but then it would be too big around the back as I have a small band size. I have never felt supported in any bathing suits I have own, until now! I'm not going to lie to you their stuff is expensive. You can expect to pay between $80-125 for a bra or bathing suit, but they are good quality and honestly that was about what I was paying at Nordstrom, so their prices are on par. I'm sure they have lots of choices for other sizes, but if you are like me and have a hard time finding an odd size, this is the place for you. Thank you Zoe for being my savior! read more

I went to Zoe and Co. all the way from Newton, MA today and I had one of the best shopping experiences of my life! Definitely the best bra shopping experience of my life. I have cried many times in lingerie fitting rooms. I cried today, too, but out of happiness. It was the first time in my life that I actually left a bra store happy. First off: the staff I wish I were better with names because the lovely woman that helped me was an absolute gem and deserves a shout out!!!! Holy hell was she knowledgeable!!! We laughed, we cried, we hugged. She is a pixie goddess who listened to me and my concerns and needs. She brought out option after option. And the bras were GORGEOUS!!! Like, I had no idea at my size (32H) that I would ever own a pretty bra. She brought out wire free options that had support! She brought out bathing suits that fit!!! She is the epitome of the saying "Not all heroes wear capes!" I felt like I was shopping with a friend. And, like I said before, I've only ever experienced trauma while bra shopping. This was a brand new experience for me. We had so much fun!!!! She measured me and fit me and found wonderful, beautiful options that were priced as well as the poorly fitting uncomfortable bras I had been wearing for years. I was absolutely giddy. And, most importantly the options were comfortable and made my clothes look fantastic. I even bought my new favorite t-shirt there!!! My entire shape changed with a well fitting bra. I left the store feeling like a million bucks and without wires digging into my arm pits or back pain. Also-- they keep a folder on you. She wrote down the bras I bought, the ones I loved but didn't need right now, she wrote down my size, my birthday, likes and dislikes. It was so comprehensive!!! And I felt so seen and so understood. No matter what bra size you're wearing, there's a good chance you're wearing the wrong size. Go to Zoe and Co. Get a proper fitting. Get comfortable bras that make you look and feel great. To be up front about this: I'm a man writing this review, and I don't wear a bra. Which begs the question: So why exactly am I bothering to write anything at all about a bra shop? Fair enough, just bear in mind that my comments are mostly a reflection of those of my family who were doing the shopping here the other day. They told me to write that Fran, who helped them, was a dynamo with an incredible and indefatigable knowledge of bra fitting. She was in constant motion helping first one woman then another, somehow managing to devote her full attention to each individually. It was impressive even to those of us who only sat and watched. No one felt rushed. The bottom line -- and that's what it's all about, right? -- was that after about an hour or so everyone was properly measured (some surprises there), fitted and delighted with their bra purchases. And they particularly raved about the care taken with the fitting/sizing at the beginning of our visit. The results, to add the viewpoint of a male who was paying for the visit, were really quite wonderfully appealing. I'd go back to Zoe with them anytime. And I'll probably have to. read more

After a tear-inducing experience trying to get a bra at Lane Bryant, my sister and I decided to try an actual bra fitter. Both if us are plus size AND big breasted, so bras are difficult to find. And as I said, after a HORRIBLE experience at Lane Bryant, we decided it was worth it to make the trip down to Zoe's. SO glad we did! My fitter was Andrea and she was just the kindest and most knowledgable young woman I have met. She measured me and brought me what she called a "fitting bra"...I was concerned because it looked like what so many "big bras" do...awful. But she explained it was just a place to start. She kept bringing me bras until we found the size that fitted properly and then went on to bring me a selection of about a dozen different styles and colors for me to try on. I found several that I liked and purchased two. I've noticed that several reviews complain about the cost of the bras Zoe's sell, but I firmly believe that you get what you pay for. The service provided by the staff is well worth the price. Especially compared to what happens when you get "fitted" at a chain store. Being fitted for a bra can be a little awkward, so you need to go in with an open mind and LISTEN to what they tell you. Andrea made me feel comfortable right from the start. I felt I was in very professional and capable hands during my entire experience. I scheduled my appointment over the phone very easily. I met with Bo and she was great. I was clearly in the wrong size walking in and left wearing something that was flattering and fit perfectly. They had a ton of options (sports, lace, push up, etc) and I was able to choose something that fit my life (everyday and something more fun). They said that they keep a card with all your details, purchases, and likes - which means that I won't have to start over when I come back again. Many women don't understand that being custom fit for a bra is so important. At Zoë & Co., you are taken to a room and measured. Then you are brought bras of all varieties. A member of the staff then checks for fit and will bring you even more bras to try. Women need to realize that every style fits a bit differently so if you think you know your size, you may not. At Zoë, I will order over the phone ONLY if I am ordering a style that I already have, if not, I will go to the store and be fitted. They never disappoint. Before I start what will probably be a lengthy diatribe about the wonders of Zoe & Co, I should mention that I am no stranger to the world of boutique bra shops. I wear a very unusual size (hovering around a 40N) and so I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly sides of bra shopping. Having moved to the Westerly area about a year ago, I can honestly say that Zoe & Co has been a blessing and that every experience I have had with them has been phenomenal. I was a bit shocked by some of the more negative reviews here as every time I have visited (and there have been quite a few times) I have been taken care of to the fullest extent of any retailer I have visited, with or without an appointment. The staff are lovely and knowledgeable about fitting, and they always make me feel comfortable. Whoever fits me (and I get fitted every time, there is no reason not to) is always professional and amicable, never condescending or hurried. They always make sure I get the right fit and that I am 100% happy. Their store credit policies are incredibly fair and their selection is extensive, to say the least. I have on numerous occasions been gifted small items with my purchases (such as a lingerie bag for the washer) for my continued loyalty. I will never not shop at Zoe's, and if you're in the area and in need of *professional bra help* whether you're flat as a board or ridiculously top heavy (or anywhere in between!) this should be your go-to place. read more

I have gone all over the country visiting specialty bra shops (no really, it's kind of a crusade with me) and I have never come close to the perfection you will find at Zoe & Co. They not only had my bra size (an uncommon natural 32G/30GG depending on manufacturer) but they had so many different brands, styles and colors I was blown away! The staff was very helpful without being overbearing, and when I asked for help fastening the strapless styles because I had burnt my thumb in a cooking accident earlier that week, the salesperson helped me try on every single one. What is even better than that? The fact that I was expecting to spend at lest 30% more on the bras I went home with than I did. The bras in this lovely helpful, extremely well-stocked store cost as much as I usually pay online. The place was so clean, classy and comfortable that I brought my cousin who was visiting from Florida in on Sunday (the first time I was there was the Friday before). When I purchased my wedding dress, they were trying to sell me an incredibly ill fitting strapless bra. They couldn't convince me to buy their garbage, so they recommended Zoe's. I called on Wednesday to see if I could get an appointment for Thursday evening and they were able to accommodate me and my maid of honor. We drove an hour and 15 minutes to get there, and don't regret a single minute of it. When we arrived, we were greeted promptly and brought into our fitting rooms. We were both put in a room together (separate fitting rooms, but one larger room) and we were able to chat with each other and show each other our favorites through out. I have seen the show "Double Diva's" on Lifetime, so I had a pretty good idea that I wasn't wearing exactly the right bra size, but it seemed to fit so good... I couldn't imagine that I would be so far off! I was thinking I would maybe be a 38DD... the bra I walked in with was a 38 D. The first bra she brought me was a 36F! We tried on a bunch of the hideously ugly "sizing bras" until she figured out that I am a 36FF or a 34G, depending on the manufacturer of the bra. After we were properly sized, she then brought us in EVERY bra they had in our sizes for us to try on. When we had one on we liked, she came in to inspect and help with the straps. I ended up buying a bra that I didn't anticipate buying just because I was so impressed and wanted to see what it was like to have one that fits! She then brought in the long line strapless bras for under my wedding dress, and helped me fasten them. She understood that I didn't want the back fat showing in my dress and was super helpful. I found exactly the right size and I hope it will look amazing under my dress. She also assured me that if it doesn't, as long as I keep the tags on, I can return it for store credit. My maid of honor "came along for the ride" and ended up walking out with three new bras that she loves. She had previously been fitted at Victoria's Secret, and was uncomfortable with how those bras rode up her back all day and she was constantly having to adjust them. I am wearing my new bra for the first time today and loving it. It is different to get used to having a properly fitting bra, but my boobs look great! I have also found myself thinking I am a bit of a bra expert at this point and telling everyone in the office how amazing this place was and how they are all clearly wearing the wrong bra size. The woman who did our fittings was very helpful and friendly and even recommended a great place for us to go to dinner across the street. The prices are not cheap, but not outrageous either. If you are an average cup size it may not seem worth it to spend $50-$100 on a bra, but if you are like me and are a 36FF - it's definitely worth spending a little more. You are getting a good product and great service. And my shirt today fits better and I look thinner because my boobs are where they are supposed to be! WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK. read more

I had an amazing experience at Zoe's today. They were so kind and patient while I tried to find a comfortable bra - I was there for almost two hours (it was kind of embarrassing) but I found two that I absolutely love. One was only $24! Most of the ones I tried on were in the $60-$80 range but they do have something at every price point and they brought at last 75 bras into my fitting room. Amazing. I made an appointment the day before, and they let me know it would take about an hour (and it did). I went with a friend and we each had our own personal fitter. Mine was Andrea, and she was amazing. I had NEVER been personally fit for a bra in my life and have always been told that I have the most difficult kind of figure to fit. Well, Andrea never had a problem - I had so many styles to choose from I was tempted to spend my whole paycheck (definitely not cheap but these are high quality products that should last for 3 years if well cared for). I came in here after seeing a billboard for this place. I had an appointment ahead of time. I was overwhelmed by how much of a selection they have. My fitting went perfectly and the sales associate was so nice. (I wish I could remember her name and give her props on here). I was definitely a statistic - wearing the wrong size bra my entire life!! I thought for sure I was going to be limited on options when she told me my new cup size. However, to my surprise, she carried in at least 60 bras for me to try on!! I tried on a handful of them and left with two perfect fitting bras. I do agree that their prices are a little high. You can find the same styles online for about $10-12 cheaper, however, I'm happy to pay a little extra to have their expertise in fitting. I look forward to making a trip back here when I want to expand my collection. The only thing I wish they had were lingerie bags for the wash. They were entirely out of stock when I came in. I am SO glad I found this store! Before I started shopping here, I used to buy all my bras online. It was the only way I could get anything that remotely fit, but even then I spent so much time trying on styles I ordered and having to send them back since nothing fits the same. Then I found Zoe and Company. All the ladies there were very nice, and made me feel right at home. The first thing my fitter did was fit me to the right size, and man it made a difference! Even from ordering online, I was no where close to my real size! After, she brought in a huge armful of bras! Some where styles I had remembered seeing online and some I had never seen before. It was great having everything in front of me, since some thing may look great in a photo, but awful in real life. Plus my fitter explained that some brands have different manufacturing sizes than the normal size range, so when ordering online you never know if a G is really a G. The prices were a little bit higher than those online, but the store DEFINITELY made up for it with there excellent service, and it felt so good to leave the store knowing I had the right size and it FIT! Plus the price difference was made up for in all the extra postage I was paying sending things back and forth. The icing on the cake was finding out they keep a record of your size and the styles you like, so no more praying the tag on the inside of your bra is readable to figure out what it was you got last time. I am so happy I found Zoe's! I have been going here for my bras since 2010 and I live in PA! I make a special trip here 2 to 3 times every year. Not only do they carry my size--NO ONE ELSE DOES and I am not fat--they have ALWAYS been professional and sensitive. I've brought friends with me and my adult daughter as well. Everyone has had nothing but fabulous comments. One friend from NJ has come twice! I can't understand these negative comments. Honestly, I would (and have) recommended Zoe's to anyone--even the most critical and fussy of acquaintances. Ok they have a good selection of bras I will give them that. I think that before going to there you should look up youtube videos on bra fitting. Brastops videos are very helpful. I made an appointment at the Westerly store. When I got there I was asked if I could come back in 30. Because I had come down on the Amtrak I had no choice but to wait. So i walked around and came back at the right time. The set up of the changing rooms is really bad. There are no doors, just curtains. The same fitter is working with 2-4 people at once and will bring you bunch of bras then go check the fitting of someone else for and then go get more bras for the other person. If I didn't know what I was looking for a in well fitting bra, I would be frustrated. Also the lighting is very poor and so you can't really see the flaw in poorly fitting bra that well. You can barely see yourself in the mirror. It seems like the shop was set up by someone that didn't know anything about making a boutique store and if it wasn't for the selection the fact there aren't that many braseller in the area for large busts or odd sizes then they would be out of business. After trying on some of the most hideous bra imaginable bras that I wouldn't buy online. I found one that was pretty. When I asked for the matching panties I was told they didn't have it in a Medium, but they had it in a large. I said I need a medium. I was just gonna buy the bra at the point. But she kept asking me If i was sure was not a large. Yeah well I had the same bra in another color with the matching underwear I was sure that i needed a medium. But thanks. I walked out with nothing. I would go back to just buy bras I would never get fitted there again. read more

This was such a life changing experience for me. I know that sounds dramatic but it really was. I made the appointment a few days prior to going and really didn't know what to expect. From the second I walked in the door I was greeted with friendly faces and nice employees. After I checked in for my appointment a fitter brought me into a really comfortable fitting room and the life changing began. My fitter helped get me in the right size and guided me through the whole process. They had such a great selection; I was able to shop bras, bathing suits, sports bras, and awesome stuff I didn't even know they made! It was amazing, I recommend it to every one who wears a bra. Everything about this store is worth your while: My sister and I went to Zoe & Co just this morning. I went with great trepidation after reading the reviews on Yelp. We are both very large-busted, and we are plus-sizes, too. I had visions of people snickering into their hands and being told that there were no bras in our size, or that the only bras they had were harnesses with lace. This was NOT the case on either count. I can honestly state that the women who wrote poor reviews about Zoe&Co., did not understand the bra fitting process and most likely went in with no intention of letting the very helpful staff work their bra fitting magic. The staff: We were greeted warmly with polite introductions to the two women who would be fitting us. Seeing all the tiny, lacy little bras and panties in the front, I questioned whether they carried the sizes we required. They assured me that their stock went well beyond what I saw. The dressing rooms were very well-lit with elegant curtains, a place to sit, and a carpet for cushioning. Kristy, my fitter, came with a bra that I considered WAY too ugly for proper company. However, she explained to me that this was a bra we were going to use to begin the fitting process. The bras would change as we progressed and found the right cup and band size. The bras did change, becoming prettier and lacier as we tweaked the fit from style to style. We had a fun time and these women had a great sense of humor!! The women who fit your bras also GET IT when it comes to bra shopping. They understand that women with large, odd or difficult breast sizes have very difficult times finding bras in places like Victoria's Secret, Lane Bryant and other department stores. We are not looking for a bra that supports like gravity just to look lacy and cute. We are looking for form AND function; Zoe & Co. HAS those bras AND the right experience to talk you through the fittings and explain why department store bras are not made to fit everyone. Kristy, my bra fitter, helped with with no less than 8 bras; I purchased one. The prices: I find that Zoe & Co. has excellent prices for well-made and well-fitted bras. Do not expect to pay $19.99 for your gravity-enhancing rubber band with bandanas attached - if you wanted that, you could go to Walmart or Kohls and walk around with droopy boobs all you want. If you want well-priced, well-made, well-fitted lingerie, expect to pay the market price. The bras to which we were fitted ranged in price from $50 to $90. These are not outrageous prices; these prices are on par with well-made bras on the market and you can be sure you are getting YOUR size, not an arbitrarily made size from a common store. (If you are plus-sized, you know that Lane Bryant charges $40 for 1 bra.) A side bar: They keep a card with your fitted size on file. If you are going to Zoe &Co. to buy a gift, ask if your recipient has a card on file; it will make gift purchases easier. They update the card with each fitting. The parking: We parked in a lot about 35 feet away from Zoe & Co., and took a brief stop afterwards to have lunch at the restaurant across the street (see review for Amigo). I visited the store yesterday & had a wonderful experience! I was looking for a low back corset to go under my wedding dress & the bridal shop I bought my dress at (in CT) suggested I come right to Zoe's. The appointment was quick & the sales lady was very professional and knowledgable. I was measured and fitted in a bra first, then she brought me the perfect corset. I brought my wedding dress & tried it on with the corset. They even create a customer profile and store your information on their computer, so when you go back, they know exactly what size you are. After receiving a recommendation from a coworker, my sister and I visited Zoe and Co's Westerly location this past weekend and had a great time. Fitting: The fitter measured me and then brought out a "fitting bra" to check the size. She explained everything as she went along, including how a bra should fit, and made me feel at ease. After making sure the fitting bra worked, she brought out several dozen bras in my size and left me to try them on, checking back in occasionally to see whether I had questions. I believe they save your measurement and can look it up the next time you visit their store. Selection: One of the only downsides is that they don't have many "basic" bras (at least in my size, a 30B). Most of the bras I tried on were sheer, lacy, or push-up, and the handful of t-shirt bras I tried on were very bright colors. Obviously, they can't carry everything, that's just a note for someone who might be looking for something a little more basic. It was fun to try on styles I wouldn't have considered before. I ended up buying a beautiful lacy black bra that fits me perfectly. They also have a great selection of underwear and loungewear. I was so happy to find a beautiful Mary Green silk romper! Price: A few people have commented on the higher price tags on the pieces, which is true. I found the bra I purchased for $20 cheaper online. However, I wouldn't have known what size to order if I'd bought it online, so I was happy to pay more for an in-store fitting experience and try on some different styles. Overall, we had a great time at Zoe and Co. I can't remember the fitter's name, but she was friendly and enthusiastic from the time we walked in the door to when we left with our purchases. I have always had great experiences when shopping a Zoe & Co and have been a customer for nearly 12 years. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, I didn't have the experience and treatment that I am accustomed to. I went in around 8:30pm. I knew what I was looking for. It was a very high end, very expensive bra that I had purchased a few months back. I was ready and willing to shell out that kind of $$ again. I just wanted the bra in a different color. I was told they didn't carry it in another color other than the brown that I bought it in. I asked if they could order it for me and she told me no. I asked if they had anything similar and she brought in a few styles for me to try, but, it wasn't the quality I was looking for. In the end, I asked if she could tell me the brand and style of the bra so I could look it up and possibly order it myself. She told me they didn't give that information out, but, wrote it down for me anyway. I thanked her and left. Later on, I looked at the FB page to see the bra I owned with the brand and style in the description! I looked it up and bought the same bra in the color I was looking for and another, fancier style by the same designer from a store in the UK and I spent HALF (after conversion from euro to US)!! The bras arrived today and fit beautifully and are exactly what I wanted. So, I guess in the end, I should thank the girl behind the counter that night...she saved me over $100. read more

The first time I went to Zoe's in Westerly, I had an awesome experience with a gentlemen named Bruce. He was a extremely professional and respected me and my dignity. The second time Bruce was not there and according to the info I received today, no longer does appointments. My experience was horrific and I mean horrific!! No help in getting the bra fitted, to the point I ended up bleeding, trying to service myself, I might as well have gone to Walmart to try on bras. The young women who took my request for an appointment today was cordial but certainly lacked in customer service skills. I explained that I had less than a pleasant experience the last time I was in. There was dead silence on the her end and no apology or acknowledgment of my complaint.......like ........"oh I'm so sorry Miss, I can assure you that won't be the case, we are so glad you have given us another opportunity to service your needs." So we will see how my appointment goes on Wednesday the 19th. I'm having some doubts; but willing to give them another shot. So here's the rest of the story...............I posted the above on Zoe's Facebook Page, and they weren't very happy about it. Apparently they deleted my post, but here comes the best part; I posted this on their FB page, as well as my own. So earlier today I wrote a review of Zoe's in Westerly. And this is the result of that review. You decide..........Wow!!! I wrote a review of the Westerly store saying, I had a great experience and then a horrific experience the second time and am willing to give it another shot due to the great first experience I had. It seems my post has been deleted or reported as spam. Okay. No biggy. But the n!! I receive a phone call saying, "We're sorry you had a bad experience, but we're canceling your appointment, so you can take your business elsewhere. Pretty unprofessional if you ask me. What happened to trying to please the customer and redeeming that bad experience and making the next visit, so much more pleasant. I'm shocked!!! Customer service does not seem to be this retailers strong suit. read more

I had very high hopes for Zoë & Co. I had heard they were expert fitters and had a HUGE selection. I called beforehand to make an appointment and to see if they had what I was looking for in my size (a long-line bra or bustier for under my wedding gown), and after being assured I was most likely wearing the wrong size, they confirmed that they had a wide selection in my size (42D). When I showed up for my appointment I was barely greeted and had to wait for fifteen minutes. When I was brought back to the fitting room I was measured, brought several bras, and told how to adjust my boobs. Maybe this is useful for other people, but I found it condescending. After several bras she decided (SHOCK) I came in wearing my real size, and tried to sell me the ugly bra she'd fit me in. I walked in wearing a beautiful balconette lace bra, and she wants me to buy a beige full-coverage? Uh, NO. Besides, I was there for bridal lingerie. Which she then told me would make me look "worse" and when I insisted, brought me two options--a strapless bra not in my size and a longline that cut into the tops of my breasts. She then told me she couldn't even ORDER something in my size, and when I told her I had called specifically to make sure they carried my size, I didn't get an apology for driving 45 minutes to be pushed ugly merchandise and condescended to, I was told, "Well. They don't make what you want." Perhaps something they could have mentioned over the phone, when I specifically asked, instead of trying to get me into the store so they could squeeze a commission out of me. I have told everyone I know never to shop there, and I certainly will never be back. read more

I've been to the Concord, NH location multiple times and visited the Westerly location for the first time tonight. Called at 8:15 saying I was 20 minutes away and I know they close at 9 but would they pretty please have time to help fit me for a strapless bra for a bridesmaid dress emergency. Betsy was super empathetic and beyond helpful. She had an array of options waiting for me when I arrived and did not make me feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing her (which, honestly, at 15 minutes to closing I know I was). She was prepared to take all the time needed to make sure that I left with a supportive, properly-fitting bra I was comfortable in. I showed her photos of the bridesmaid dress and explained the fit and cut and how I needed the bra to work for me under the dress. The Zoe's staff continues to wow me with their ability and willingness to go above and beyond for their customers. So happy! read more

THANK YOU for the best day in a fitting room EVER! I seriously mean EVER in my life! I have had issues finding good bras my entire life. (large cup size.) I needed a corset for a wedding, and called or visited EVERY PLACE I could think of in Massachusetts. We literally left Lady Grace in tears - we've never felt so neglected and mistreated in our lives! Even the wedding dress stores couldn't direct me to anyplace where something would fit me! Thank heavens for google! I called Zoe's, and they said there were many options in my size -- actually IN STOCK. I've never heard that in my life. Still, I waited a few weeks, trying to find closer stores. I finally resigned myself to drive the 90+ minutes to the RI store. I can't tell you how pleased I was! The attendants do everything they can to make you feel special and NORMAL and work so hard to bring you anything you could really ask for!! I honestly never thought there were good solutions for me, and you showed me MANY! My grandmother was a seamstress, and there is some special gift she had where she could look at a person and know the size and style for your body. These attendants have that gift!! Truly, the best fitting I've ever had. They are incredibly knowledgeable and talented! Oh, and I should say the store is quirky and fun, with many large dressing areas, heavy curtains, interesting decor, and excellent music! This is a place that honors woman of all shapes, sizes, and needs. Their inventory runs the gamut from white to bling, and everything in between! I cannot say enough about this store!! I will be back, no matter how far away you are from here!!! read more
