Yup, I quit Zoom Tan again!! I just went to Hawaiian Holiday got a beautiful spray tan- Zoom Tan charges $49 a month, they don't even give you a towel ( just a napkin) Hawaiian gives you a towel, and they only Charge $35 a month. I'm a faithful spray tan girl, my last 2 spray tans at Zoom were blotchy and peeled- weird! I went in to tell them, they actually made me buy a face scrub for a buck, I was like-- you want me to pay for this? Yup, I did. I called corporate, they didn't GAF. I pondered it for a couple days - cancelled my membership, I've been with them for years & years. I tried to switch before. I will not be going back to zoom again. It's a rip off!!! Friendly staff and clean booths. Sometimes they are very busy in the late spring after 5 pm so make sure you have time to wait 10-15 minutes before a booth is available. I love that they offer a month to month membership and let you know when you need to cancel by if you choose to. I was offered assistance with tanning time since I just joined and I found that to be helpful. The tanning lotion is very expensive at the store, so I would recommend just buying your own and bringing it with you. read more

I chose Zoom Tan because they are stand up and i thought that it is much safer during Covid 19. Today was the SECOND time i tanned and there was hair balls (which were NOT mine) in between the bulbs and metal bars. I know this is a very busy location but nothing should be overlooked.... The prices at Zoom Tan are so reasonable compared to any other tanning salon I've been to in years. The website is completely transparent when it comes to pricing of all the different levels and they regularly offer a promotion of some sort which is really nice. The staff is pretty friendly (I go to the locations in Liverpool and Fayetteville) and the facility is always clean. I've UV tanned a handful of times (trying to get rid of tanlines before my wedding) and have tried level 2 and 3 spray tans. Both have turned out wonderfully! I got a text for a $3 spray tan and thought I'd check it out. The facility is very clean. The employee was not quite friendly or helpful but not rude either. You really needed to know what you wanted as all she said was "do you want level 1, 2 or 3?" She also didn't explain that the coupon was $3 for level 1 only, level 2 was a different price, and level 3 was another price. Luckily there were other customers waiting who explained it. Went with level 2 bronze, and am very happy with the results. I would go again. read more

Be Cautious! Read the fine print! They changed the machines recently and I had an allergic reaction and due to me having n prepaid account (meaning I paid the entire year months up-front and in advance) and due to me being on an paid in full contract, they not only declined any kind of termination but they refused any kind of refund. They recently changed the machines and I also believe the chemicals in their spray booths. I had signed for another year during a promotion deal thinking I would save a bit of money by doing so, with no clue that they had intention of changing their machines to a different product. My face formed very large lumps that resulted in scaring. I was forced to go to a dermatologist to be treated. When I asked for a print out of the chemicals that they used in the old machines and the new machines I was informed by corporate office that she didn't have this but would get back to me. Bit CONCERNING......Isn't this a FDA approved chemical used in their spray booths? It sure says it is in their "Contract"?! Shouldn't the customer have access to such chemicals going on their bodies??? Beware before signing a membership here everyone!
