This is the place to get your waxing done. The owner is a sweet lovely lady. The bathroom is clean and wet wipes are provided in case you need to freshen up. They use hard wax which is very important when it comes to getting waxed as it's not as painful. If you're new to waxing, your esthetician will walk you through the process and goes over how to care for your skin post-wax so don't be afraid to book an appointment here. This is one of the best waxing places I've been to (I've lived in CA and TX). They carry post wax care products to help minimize pesky in-growns. There is a student or military/first responder too! Pros: professionalism, kind staff, cleanliness (sort of) Cons: TECHNIQUE!!, timing, one unsanitary practice This was a umm strange experience. I've been getting waxed for 3 years. Taken some breaks and restarted. I've gotten waxed at various salons in different states etc. That being said, I think I have a good idea of what to expect when I get a Brazilian. The technique here was painful... just inching away at the hair and going over the same area 3 times or more. Having ME hold my skin taught for her as she pulled off strips. Maybe it was just the particular technician I saw. But the fan is what pushed me over the edge. Never have I ever seen anyone place AN INDUSTRIAL FAN AT THE FOOT OF THE BED pointed directly at your V to "cool the wax and your body". For one, seems completely unsanitary for both the woman on the table and all the supplies in the room including the open wax pots. Two, the tech is now trying to spread cold wax which just pulls the skin and hurts. Three, makes for a messier process with strings of wax flying everywhere. Which she proceeded to try and pick off piece by piece at the end of the wax.... again, painful on already irritated skin. Lastly, the timing. It took 45 minutes to do a French bikini wax... didn't even touch the back. I've never spent more than more than 40min on a table, and that's for a full Brazilian plus tweezing. Two stars for professionalism and cleanliness a(side from the fan). But just.. no. I will not be back. read more

I recently relocated to Syracuse, and had a hard time finding an esthetician who specializes in Brazilian waxing. I am very specific when it comes to my needs. The studio and esthetician must be warm/welcoming, clean, knowledgeable and efficient. Jamie was all of that and more, I have never had a better waxing experience. I am originally from Florida and travel a lot, so I have had Brazilian waxes done all over the country. There aren't many places that offer Brazilian waxing in syracuse so I was excited to try this place out! The salon was beautiful, clean and private. They use hard wax, which in my opinion is the less painful option. There was a fan at the end of the table that the wax specialist would turn on after putting a couple strips of wax on to try to get it to dry quicker - this was a definite first for me and I found it kind of strange. Still, a decent experience for a wax. The wax specialist made you feel comfortable and was very friendly which is always important. Wouldn't be my first choice - but being the only option in syracuse I will probably be back. The spray tan on the other hand was AMAZING. After going there for the wax and seeing they offered airbrush spray tans I decided to get one the next day. The woman doing the spray tan made me feel comfortable and explained everything about the tan and what was needed from me. I had a wedding that weekend and everyone was shocked to hear I had a spray tan. They all said it looked so natural! I was so nervous I would look orange so was very satisfied with the outcome!! Shari has restored my faith in waxing! I've had some prior experiences with waxing, but I've never kept up with it. My last attempt at waxing left me in so much pain that I was going to swear off waxing for good. But, because I heard that waxing hurts less the more you do it, I thought I'd give it one last shot, but THIS time, I found Shari. She immediately made me feel comfortable.
