Very kind & knowledgeable with animals. I have a rescue big dog. He was truly rescued. His previous owner was very cruel. He's 4yrs old, now. I rescued him from the shelter here in Escambia County. He was 1yr. old. The human society had been notified before. They later received another report. He was rescued. He was left chained, no water or food. And, the scum who owned him had moved out, & just left him alone, malnourished, heart worms, & he was used as a bait dog. The previous owners never need to come face to face with me. I may act on my true loathing for them. And, my dog will do more, than me. I had him for a year & a half before, I made any progress with the dog. I almost gave up. I have never had the thought with any pet. But, he learned to trust people, again. He is still very protective of me. If he is with me, no harm will come to me. With the terrible things he has been through, he would do very much harm to anyone who he felt was a threat to me. I feel like, he would take a life or give his life for me. I say, all this to explain what the Davis Pet Hotel & Spa had their hands full with my big baby boy. I had him groomed for the first time @ 3 & half. She was fantastic. I was contacted throughout the grooming process. Butter, as I named him, loved the whole experience. He was handled with such patience & kindness. He even allowed her to cut his huge nails. Then, I went a step further. I had him kenneled for the time of our family vacation, 6days. Davis, took great care to make sure he was comfortable. He received toy time everyday. And, a 15min. cuddle time, everyday. The hotel&spa updated me every single day & sometimes more than, once a day. I received pics & sometimes videos of him. Butter loved the experience. He was ready for Mom(me) to pick him up. But, he was happy, good natured, & ready to go home. They took excellent care & kindness when dealing with a mean/now mushy big dog(mixed;Shepherd/Rottweiler). I can't say,1 thing bad about this experience with DAVIS PET HOTEL & SPA. I highly recommend this business for anyone looking for grooming & kennel services.

They told me they need proof of vaccination, I had my vet fax it to them, Everything was ok. Then they sent me the necessary paperwork to fill out and emailed back to them. And I supposed to drop off her at 14:00 pm next day, Saturday. She supposed to stay in this facility until the 10 of March. I drove all the way from Perdido Key to Davis Hwy with my cat and her supplies JUST to FOUND OUT that she couldn't stay because she was Neutered. That word NEVER came up in my conversation with the female person I talked on the phone. I Actually mention to her that I wanted the cat to stay there until Her Appointment with the vet to have A Hernia operation and neutered. NOBODY Ever mentioned that they could NOT accept her because she was not neutered I guess everything works for the best I, definitely, wouldn't want to trust my pet with a crew that can't even figured out, a simple task.
