Not sure how anyone rates this place high... If I could give 0 stars, I would You have to go to the bar to order your food. It's like a fast food bar, without the fast food. I'd actually prefer McDonalds over this place.... "Cheeze bread" was a greasy sponge and their "marinara" sauce was terrible The salsa was bad, and the chips weren't much better I got the "Wingz". The menu says "at least 20 minutes" because they were clearly frozen, and reheated. And the buffalo sauce was not "buffalo" at all. Buffalo sauce has a flavor profile. These wings were clearly dusted with too much spice before the were reheated. There were three kinds of people there. Kids in their 20's, Parents living through a mid-life crisis who brought their poor kids, and old people with drinking problems. VERY LOUD, and filled with drunk people. A place for kids? Hardly.... Disappointed to see that some patrons brought their dogs into the outside eating area tonight. One patron even felt the need to cuddle their dog while the dog sat on the table. Really!!!! While I personally like dogs, I do not understand why Zorbaz feels it is okay to allow patrons to bring their animals into their eating establishment. I do not plan to go back to Zorbaz. read more

I love Zorbaz! I would highly recommend any of the pizzas, the macho nachos (feeds 4 hungry teenage boys), and Gina's pregnant burrito. They have EXCELLENT beer selection, including Surley's! During the summer you can dine inside or outside. They usually have bands on the weekends during the busy summer season. read more

They have Premium on tap among many other beers, amazing pizzas, a cool crowd and menus that fold on angles. What's not to love? The pizzas are awesome. I was here for work and got a Bacon Cheeseburger and a Colby Cheesie, which tasted like chicken wings. Next time I go I will have to try the one that tastes like a Big Mac. One cool evening me and my lovely gf decided to drive to zorbaz just to take a look at the well known detroit lakes while tasting a great pizza and the cool beers. Well, we came, we see and we ate. LOL. Absolutely superb. Great service, nice ambience, nice premium tap beers and very very good food. I try the masamoto beers, kind of japanese in a sense and its very very strong. Get their BBQ chicken pizza if you come here! Their pizza was amazing. You place your order at a counter then they bring the food to you. And it's seat yourself. Nobody told us when we got there and they didn't have any signs so we waited for service after we sat down. They have huge outdoor patios with seating and it's right on the lake. If you're in the mood for good pizza this is the place to come. read more

Interesting place with helpful staff it is 4 out of 5 from me a beer and snack food place. It is a great place to sit and watch life stroll by while enjoying the above. I would rate this place a little lower if I was looking at it as a full restaurant, but it is what it is, and I enjoyed it for what it is. The food was mediocre and came within 15 minutes. But, my friend did get a dead bee in her burrito bowl. However, the place was DISGUSTING! It was so dusty, dead bugs EVERYWHERE, table was nasty even after they "cleaned" it for us. We ended up getting everything to go because we couldn't eat in that kind of nauseating environment. You can't beat the beer selection at Zorbaz! And this is not your run of the mill pizza place either. The pizzas are imaginative, and I haven't found one I haven't liked yet. Try the Thai Pie (don't let the peanut butter scare you off - it's really good), the Zorbaz the Greek, or the Reuben. Macho Nachos are always a good choice as well! We just got done eating at Zorbaz right across from Detroit Lakes in Minnesota. I was little confused at sitting down looking at the menu and then walking back to the bar and ordering, but it all worked out in the end. We ended up ordering 2 personal pizzas and some garlic cheese bread, both had a very good taste and came out faster than we expected. My husband and I each ordered an individual sized pizza, but there was a 'mix up' in the kitchen and he didn't get his pizza until after I was already done with mine. I just had the "pregnant burrito" & it was really good. Lots of smothering with melted cheese & sauce... DEFINITELY fills you up! I also got a salad to go. I can't remember what it was called but it was supposed to have pepperoni & Canadian bacon with cheeses, tomato, lettuce & mushrooms. It comes in an undivided to go container (large, square) it wasn't even half full, the lettuce looked old & so far picking through it... I've seen 3 pepperoni circles & 3 pieces of Canadian bacon. & those are cut pieces, not full circle. More than $10.00. The menu says something funny like ..too cheap! We need to raise the price, or you could just pay more!! That would be funny, if it wasn 't so close to a dinner salad size & so short on the items that keep it from just being a bowl of lettuce. Welcoming and warm location directly across the street from the lake. Decent sports bar meets family dinning meets a weird combo of Mexican food and pizza. I had the BBQ Chicken pizza and would have again. Good crust, nice size TVs and energy/vibe of chillaxed fun. Music isn't bad; they have XM radio and free wifi. read more

Really fun atmosphere. Great bartenders. I always assume places like this are going to be all flash and no substance, but the food was actually really great as well! We tried the pizzas, which were awesome; the nachos, also very good; and my wife had a burrito which she said was also really, really good. Looked like everybody in this place was having a good time. The pizza was the worst I've had in recent memory. Soggy, undercooked crust was the biggest failure. Service was OK. My wife said the women's bathroom was disgusting and we were there on Sunday at 12 Noon. Too many other restaurants to try before I'd go back. read more

Service was what you expect when it's busy! Drinks were good, but having to grab my bf every time i went up for drinks or vice versa just so they can see the wrist band may have been a bit over done. We loved this place so much we ate here 3 nights in a row! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is fun. We tried the nachos which were great and the pizzas which were fabulous! We tried the taco pizza and the zorba zuper. Super good! Also the tap beer line up is shocking! Lots of great brews available. They even had my wife's favorite Southern Tier Pumking and Dogfish Head pumpkin. I love IPA's and they had too many to choose from! I'm glad I don't live in this town because otherwise I'd be sitting in here every night drinking great beer and eating delicious pizza. read more

We were there with a large group of hockey parents. We just wanted to have a quick beer and get to the arena. We arrived, had to wait at the bar to order a beer and then find a place to sit. It was super crowded in there and not the best atmosphere. I am sure that in the summer the place is a riot to be seen at, but for winter, head elsewhere! read more

The atmosphere is inviting and very chill. Lots of decorations that you would find at an old cabin or something of the sort. Right next to the lake so it's perfect if you're enjoying a day on the beach. The employees are always friendly and work very fast. The food is amazing!! Zorbaz is our favorite place! Awesome pizza & mexican food. We drive 400 miles just to eat here, well & to visit our Grandma in DL. We usually eat here for days in a row for every meal, ha ha. Service is unique that you order everything at the bar but we love that! Tons of different beers & best of all they are always open til 2 am! The prices are normal to what you'd pay anywhere else.
