Zoro Muffler Mississauga (stanfield) Went from good to bad over the years I've taken various cars (4 or 5) I've owned throughout the years to this Zoro Muffler for exhaust related repairs, dating back to the mid 2000's, after being referred to them by my brother who also brought his cars there since the early 2000s. I kept going back because I used to live in that area, the service was fast, reliable and either decent priced or amazingly priced. Even around 2019, they only charged me around $80 for a repair; that was an outlier price/repair, but it solidified in my mind to think of them for any/all exhaust work in the future. All other visits in my past were much higher priced but understandably so, given the repairs needed. However, the past 2 times I've been there in 2025 and 2026 with the same car (different exhaust issues) was different. In 2025 it was over priced; I accepted it because I still trusted them and I had driven 100+ km (I had moved out of the city) to bring my car there to make sure it was done right, which it was (so far - its only May 2026 now), but it was expensive. 2026: They said I needed a new front pipe (exhaust leak in the engine bay) and that it would cost ~$1300 with parts, labor, taxes (yet would be done within the hour...). Had him show me where it was leaking and then vehicle model came into question, as he said the pipe looks different than the one needed in the quote, (so how did he know it would be $1300?) so after vehicle model trim confirmed, he requoted ~$750 after PARTS (pipe), labor and taxes, and will be done in an hour. I asked what the difference was from the $1300 quote and he said he quoted $1500 (?? I had already messaged someone about the $1300 price immediately after being quoted.) and its due to a different part. It seems like they can just make up any price they want. You can't see their computer screen behind/under the desk you stand in front of, and you don't get any breakdown/work order until you get the invoice. I said ok to the new $750 quote, they "fixed it" and I paid and left; no exhaust leak anymore. 3 weeks later I swap my wheels from winter to summer tires and look under the car & hood, same old rusted pipe we stared at under their hoist - all they did was put a new nut and a few washers on one of the the front pipe bolts and then flux core welded part of the flange to the same rusted flange - FLEECED! I could've done this myself if it weren't for the cold weather. Service is neutral - they're not mean, not rude. But it feels like they are riding on their past reputation and fleecing people now, especially after hearing all the prices of other customers while in the waiting room. The difference in actual cost/price vs what I was ripped off is not worth my time calling, debating and bringing my car back 100km (200km total) and explaining it to them again, for them to potentially sabotage something or charge me more. I can go somewhere closer to home and potentially get better pricing or risk of getting ripped off just the same. Never going back there again. They have endless suckers in Mississauga to famoose so they won't miss my business at all. If money is just a rounding error for you and you simply NEED your exhaust fixed fast, by all means, bend over there because they can fix you up real fast, but know that there is no Mr Lube next door. read more

I couldn't believe there is a muffler repair shop near me that can fix my Honda car's muffler in 10 mins at fraction of original cost and while I was waiting in the guest room, that was impressive and very satisfying - you got to try it and save your time, money and frustration. A bit of background, my car is relatively old Honda Civic and I had it repaired with my mechanic for 2x already and now I hear loud popping sounds and it had difficulty accelerating so I was thinking it had an exhaust leak from the YouTube videos I watched. So I searched online on where to go near my area and I found Zoro muffler, I didn't really look at other comparables so I'm not sure if I got a good price or anything. So I attached a picture of the bottom of my car. -Appointment: None necessary but I emailed them first and they said I don't need to make one. I just dropped by and talked to a staff who was the manager apparently. However the wait time was kind of long. Around 2 hours wait time. -Price-$$$ a bit pricey , it was around $249 each for the 2 pipes and the muffler. Total cost was $844. Diagnosis-free Warranty around 1 year for the muffler. The manager said the pipes should last 10 years. Service time- around 1 hour. Overall workmanship- I just had it yesterday but my car is sounding quiet now and not so bad acceleration. Hopefully the gas mileage gets better and we'll see how long or how sturdy the pipes are because I drive a lot. read more

Went to Zoro to repair the leaking gasket. Nice people. Gave a free quote. They said it is better to replace the part of the exhaust system. Not ready to replace only the leaking gasket. Quoted $899. Searched nearby Muffler repairs found Magic Touch Mufflers within 3 KM from Zoro nead Dixie and Dundas. He checked everything and agreed to repair leaking gasket for $75. Job is done. I saved a lot. I am happy. For small jobs Zoro Mufller is not the right place I believe. I wrote this note only for the poor car owners like me. read more

First time at this place, and they do not take appointments. I can understand why they do this, but at the same time it really turns this place into a busy First-Come-First-Serve place after work hours. The technicians and service was great though, and they do analyze and try to meet your specific needs for any exhaust work. They have a lot of work bays for busy times. Went to Zoro Muffler in Mississauga to replace my mufflers where one of them had a hole in it. I was told they only have two types of mufflers for my Pontiac G8 with the v8, the j-pipes and the straight thru mufflers for the G8 with the v6 engine. I asked about customizing other mufflers to fit my car, I was told they can't do it. So I bought the j-pipes that was louder than my the original muffler with the hole as it sounds good. 8 months later I went back to replace the j-pipes, tired of the loud exhaust and the new Toronto noise bylaw that was in effect. Again the straight thru mufflers for the G8 with v6 engine was forced on me. Finally agreed that they would customize the Solo Stealth muffler with 2.5 inch inlet and outlet to fit my car. Unknown to me the 2.25 inch inlet and outlet mufflers were installed on my car. The Solo Stealth muffler is not as quiet as they claimed and throttle response was poor. Now I have to go somewhere else to replace the Solo Stealth muffler. read more

My 99 Corolla needed its struts to be replaced; i looked around and one limo driver recommended me to them. Well, this is the best as it can get. Their service is superb. All struts were replaced; i found an issue with one over next two days. Went back and on 2nd road test was able to show it to their service staff. They replaced the defective struts within the hour. First, I want to thank the other reveiwer here. Because of him I called Zoro. I tried having my regular mechanics shop try a couple of times to "fix" the installation they did on the Magnaflow ehaust. It was a cutom fit. Tthey couldn't stop it from hitting the underbelly of the mustang. The fellows at Zoro know their stuff! They not only stopped it from banging the underside as I went over every bump in the road, they also straightened the left pipe where it shows out the back end. I thought my magnaflow was too loud on the 6 cylinder. I was told bu others there was nothing to be done about it. Well, I'm happy to say Zoro added a noise reducer and my 6 banger purrs like a GT. Zoro quoted $900 just to fix some of the muffler pipes, JPG (Oakville) did the work for $535 including tax that included not just the muffler pipe repairs, but a new muffler as well (Aluminum - my choice they also offered Stainless steel for +$100). JPG service was fast and very fair pricing. The Zoro quote did not even include the new muffler, can't imagine what their ultimate cost would have been. read more

Never again! They are a rip-off. For a 5 min exhaust job they charged me CAD150. I checked at other places and typically they should not have charged me CAD20 + labor and tax. I wouldn't recommend to anyone! read more
