I have been to the self service Biergarten a couple of times and quite like it. They serve Augustiner bier here (one of my favourite Munich brewers) and there is a food counter also. The food counter has normal Biergarten food choice like sausages, wurstsalat and there is a counter that makes Flamkuchen or alpine pizza. The food is quite ok here and I quite like the Biergarten food. The atmosphere is lovely and I love the park itself. We come here often with the dog, as he loves this park. The Kellnerin warned me that is was spicy but I found it just right. The tofu and vegetables were served in a coconut curry sauce that was delicious. Friends are visiting next month and we plan to visit Löwengarten with them. The prices are reasonable and the wait staff have always been pleasant. This is one of our favorite local restaurants.
