I've been to a few classes thus far and I have to say that Kim is a fun instructor that keeps me entertained and sweating. The dances are fun and there's a wide range of people there. On occasion, Kim seems to lose track of where in the dance we are and give the wrong instruction. But, she is able to correct herself quickly. And I must admit that if I had to memorize that much choreography, I'd probably forget as well. The Zumba schedule is kind of limiting and I really wish they would offer more classes on the weekends, when I actually have time to go.

We tried this dance studio for my daughter, who is 3 years old. She was in the Twinkle Toes…read moresession. Ultimately, I decided to pull her out because I didn't feel that 30-minute classes for $85 a month were worth it, especially considering the commute we have to make to get there. Classes are twice a week Monday and Saturday and I also wasn't very impressed with the program itself. It didn't feel like much of a dance class. It was more like the kids were running around to songs. There was some bubble blowing, and in one class, the instructor even read a book. I was hoping for more structure and actual dance instruction. I also made the mistake of purchasing a dance outfit and shoes from their storefront because I thought my daughter would need a uniform. However, on the first day of class, I was told that her age group didn't require one. A couple of days later, I saw the order status change to "ready for pickup," but when we went to get it, we were told nothing was there. I kept trying to call, but no one ever answered only a text thread for follow-up. I continued checking, but nothing was ever actually ready. When we decided to cancel on 5/2, I had already been billed $85, and we still didn't have her outfit or shoes. I reached out via text that Saturday (since they don't answer the phone) and didn't hear anything back. I followed up again on Sunday (5/3) and still got no response. Finally, on Monday (5/4), I heard back and was asked to fill out a cancellation form. After submitting the form, I was told the outfit had arrived and that I could come pick it up. I responded the same day asking if the outfit could be refunded, but I never received a reply. Keep in mind, the outfit is branded with their dance logo. Since we canceled, there's really no reason for us to keep it especially because the class we were in didn't even require uniforms. Wednesday and Thursday passed with no response. Finally, I reached out again early Friday morning asking for a follow-up. I received this response: "Hello! Sorry about the delay. I have reached out about your refund and am just waiting to hear back. I'll keep you updated!" Then later, I was told, "Unfortunately, we don't issue refunds, but we can apply that amount to your account for future purchases." Future purchases after we just canceled the membership. Overall, if you have a child under 4, I wouldn't recommend this studio. And if you value communication and good customer service, I also wouldn't recommend it. I feel like a lot of this could have been avoided if they had clearly explained what the classes involve, what the kids would actually be doing, the dress code requirements, and their no-refund policy upfront. Very helpful, knowledgeable and interactive. They have some great classes available that are a part of the membership or you can drop in. Dancing, yoga and more. I started singing somewhat later in life, so I didn't expect to make very much progress. So far, machines are never out of order. Weights are abundant. I like that there are classes available such as cycling and also open space for pickle ball practice. I would like to see the smoothie bar upgraded. It's not open as much as I would have thought it would be. It also doesn't include calorie count so it feels counterproductive

I would be more inclined to contract w a LA Fitness trainer if i saw them working with their clients and appeared more approachable. I see the trainers completing the complimentary initial assessment and folks carrying their journals as well as working out in the Training only designated area but never see them coaching. They should also make it a point to greet and say goodbye to every customer. Some staff just stare at their phone when customers come and go and dont appear approachable so i hesitate to engage them as i have more questions re the training program. Another concern is the men's locker rooms, bathroom and sauna need a good cleaning. Consistently smells like men's room in a truck plaza and less than clean.
