Luscious subscribes to this inclusive philosophy whole-heartedly and you feel it every time you take a class there and then the end result after you do the work is so sexy and empowering! This studio is truly awesome. Shout out to the crazy talented instructor Elizabeth, definitely take her classes if you can. It goes without saying that she is an incredible dancer but she is also patient and kind. I'm an cardio dance instructor and this was my first pole class, I woke up sore! Elizabeth is a straight up pole scientist, dropping knowledge at every turn and breaking down moves analytically so we can understand the separate pieces that lead to the final flow. You really have to experience her class physically to understand what a talented and intelligent teacher she is but I'm trying to give an idea. There's plenty of repetition and explaining so the moves can really get into your body. So basically if pole was offered as part of a master's program in university Elizabeth would be your professor! If it's your first time doing pole I suggest doing the tricky tricks class first. The studio itself is clean, spacious and beautiful. This place embodies the "come as you are" attitude that makes fitness seem less daunting. "SpinDolls" come in all shapes, sizes, colors and from all walks of life. But even with all the differences, you always feel comfortable and supported. No one is judging you, but rather encouraing you on. I love knowing that I am working out with other woman who are not there to show off but to get in shape while having fun. We laugh, A LOT. Eli, the owner, has the most infectious energy I have encountered in a while. She is go, go, go all the time and always fun and friendly. She is the type of person that you look at and say "I want to be her friend!!!" She lost tons of weight herself, so she knows the struggle. Now, you are probably not reading this review to hear so much about what a great time we have (which we do) but to know if this is going to get your butt in shape. The answer is a resounding YES! Eli offers tons of different classes: Pole fitness, boot camps, Pole tricks, Zumba, twerking, Kangoo, etc. There is something for everyone. They are challenging, heart racing, sweat inducing, "make-it-all-hurt" and ultimately they will make you sore in such a fantastic way. In my first two cycles alone met my goals of establishing a sub 5 minute mile and then running a sub 17 minute 5k. I'm less than 30 seconds from a personal record that is 30 years old. Of course I've never trained as much in my life. My goal in cycle 3 is to reach my PR in the 5k. Surprisingly the secret is increasing volume and running much slower than I was used to at least for the base phase. Run slow to get fast. Coach Mederos is methodical and helps runners who are able to run comfortably at their goal race reach their full potential. The group meets early however. I've been doing all my training between the hours of 4-6am, which is just fine by me. It takes a little bit of adjusting to this type of schedule but once you are hooked it's a good group to converse with. If you are self directed however, but need a schedule of runs as well as good advice this is definitely the coach for you.

All my muscles were wakened up! Every day is a different one hour training. The ingenuity and the creativity of the staff in creating a complete body exercises is beyond imagination. My body was transformed form "not in shape" to an Iron man; my mind, memory and body functionally have improved tremendously. I am confident that all the beautiful people who attend this studio feel the same way. Studio 55 is a gem in the heart of Doral.

The manager that goes by Chino, has made many inappropriate comments not just to me but young girls as well. He has grabbed the behind of the woman at the front desk making inappropriate comments when she clearly looked uncomfortable. He has made sexual remarks to minors openly at the gym aswell. He has tried selling steroids to my friend at the gym in the past which is something by the name of anavar? Claiming it would enhance her body. He also offered her a massage in the break room and said it would have made her "feel good", hinting erotic behavior. I have watched female members walk in and out of the break room. I once checked out curiosity and the door was locked with a female member inside. He also yells aggressively to his female employees and I have multiple times heard him calling them "Bitch". That is not a way to speak to your employees yet alone female ones. I plan that you avoid this gym as a woman because this is an unsafe environment.
